21  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [SCAM Alert] Bitani.org scam exchange.... on: March 02, 2020, 07:38:13 AM
This looks like scam exchange that is copy of legit cex exchange.
Good find OP

Yes. Scammers are creating such websites almost every day. The website looks the same, only changing the domain name every time.  Scammers have been scamming using a trusted Exchange name like this. Which creates confusion between Newbie's.
Is there a list of existing ones we already know about?
If there's no one I'd love make it by myself honestly
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Why bitcoin will appreciate forever on: February 27, 2020, 10:38:15 AM
Bitcoin is not always going to appreciate. There are a lot of counters to what you said. Not everyone likes Bitcoin, you do realise that right?

I think OP meant that its only a matter of time when bitcoin will be appreciated worldwide by most of the people.
Even if bitcoin itself won't become next fiat currency, but it definitely will be one the cryptocurrencies anyway.
So in this case bitcoin will stay in history as first crypto no matter which crypto will be the most popular in the end of the day
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: February 23, 2020, 05:29:48 PM
I think today, most of governments income comes from newly printed money, it is magnitudes larger than their tax income, so it is very strange they still want to make lots of paper work and collect those miserable amount of tax income
It is true tho. It works almost same as "obesed" companies like pizza hut who suffers from its own amount of workers.
So govs could suffer from operating its own taxes
24  Economy / Economics / Re: Bakkt is done? on: February 12, 2020, 02:02:42 PM
sad reality, in 2019 Bakkt was used as material for FOMO Bitcoin and after Baakt was launched it looked disappointing, this made me think about Eth 2.0 information, and Halving Bitcoin this year, would it be like Baakt's fate?
We can talk about Bakkt's fate after it's been established for 5-10 years. Until then it's still finding its feet. There'll be dead phases. There'll be explosive phases.

Anyone who expected Bakkt to singlehandedly ignite a dead market is a twat. It's one solitary service for a small number of people. It might facilitate further bullishness when the time comes, it certainly doesn't magic it up out of thin air.
A lot of people think there is some magic in crypto and the same people were investing in shill ICOs back in 2017-18.
If you're wise enough you do understand that crypto is just another investment field and a payment option with great potential.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Price to $14 - Any thoughts? on: February 04, 2020, 05:05:15 AM
In the next bull run, Do you also believe that XRP will reach this high or do you think that this is impossible?
Are you one of those crypto investors that dislike XRP because it is centralized and most prefered to invest in other cryptos like bitcoin and ethereum?

As the article said:
"It is believed that crypto investors dislike XRP because it is arguably more centralized than Bitcoin or Ethereum."

Source: XRP Price Could Reach $14 Breaking Out from Two-Year Bear Market

Imo XRP had its chance to climb above $5 back in the 2017-2018 best time for market, but now it has absolutely no chance.
Even if whales from all other alts will invest in XRP it won't change much.
Moreover it has almost no use cases and it has low "adoptability" so its an ordinary cryptocurrency really.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Digital currency of Banks can replace the Bitcoin? What is your opinion? on: January 31, 2020, 02:58:30 PM
The simple short answer is no.
No digital coin, stable coin, libra, proof of stake, ico, china coin, some magic new coin can do anything about bitcoin for it to happen it would have to be created before bitcoin.
Here study https://www.usinflationcalculator.com/

Yeah you're probably right.
Bitcoin will be some sort of investment option for a long time from now.
But I bet there will be more effective and useful payment tools.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrencies have won with court in India – for how long? on: January 23, 2020, 11:10:18 AM
After a stressful and fearful trial at the Indian Supreme Court, India officially admitted that Bitcoins and other cryptographic assets are not illegal..

Read the full article on https://blocktoq.com/crypto-news/cryptocurrencies-have-won-with-court-in-india-for-how-long/

Interesting enough to know if they'll start to discuss cryptocurrencies in their govs.
Because "not illegal" status is not enough to do crypto taxations for instance
28  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries testing digital assets in 2020 on: January 11, 2020, 07:08:45 AM
China, which has almost finished developing its own national cryptocurrency and is about to launch it, was not mentioned in the article. In general, I think that many more countries than in this list are developing their own national cryptocurrencies or at least have plans to do so. It is worth considering that the future is not only for state-owned cryptocurrencies, but also for corporate tokens and existing cryptocurrencies.

Yeah pretty much.
I've found article about it right here https://blockonomi.com/china-will-launch-national-digital-asset-in-2020/
China seems to be very active in crypto field lately
