22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is your ETH transaction stuck? on: September 17, 2020, 08:08:05 AM
1. Go to your Etherscan profile pending transactions.
2. Go to the lowest (longest ago) one.
3. See the "Nonce" number assigned to it.
4. Go to https://app.mycrypto.com/send with Metamask or your wallet provider.
5. Send yourself 0 Eth with 750+ Gwei and the SAME nonce as step 3.
6. That transaction will get cancelled. Repeat the same until no more pending transactions.

Bonus reminder: Set your transaction deadline to 3 minutes or less on Uniswap during times like these.

24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: September 15, 2020, 10:59:21 PM
People have negative intention on scam. still many people are not familiar with crypto market. If they know scam on bitcoin, they won't join with it.

That's bullshit. Normal people first understand the situation and only then make a decision. We all know that bitcoin gives more freedom than ordinary money, scammers are happy to use it, but this does not mean that bitcoin itself is a scam. And any person who spends 15 minutes of their time will understand this. Those who base their opinions on other people's opinions from the media are probably not yet ready for cryptocurrency, because they will be the first to lose a lot of money due to their laziness.
25  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: September 15, 2020, 10:56:51 PM
As we enter the digital realm due to the effects of COVID-19, the process of central banks phasing out physical cash from existence might take place soon. Before the outbreak, we've been accustomed in using credit/debit cards and contactless payments greatly eliminating the need for physical cash. Now that we're in a "COVID Era", things have accelerated quite a bit. Banks and governments are in talks of adopting CBDCs which could completely eliminate the need to pay for things with physical cash.

Now the real question is, how long will it take banks to start the transition from physical to digital cash (CBDC)? Do you think that physical cash will still be used right after governments adopt CBDCs in their entirety? Or will it take decades before every single person in the world stops transacting with physical cash, paving the way for a full-fledged cashless society? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley
The global pandemic might speed up the process of digitization by a bit, but its still a long way for banks to disappear the physical cash currency completely. Many national banks across the world are onto the idea of launching their own “central bank digital currency” also know as CBDC. It will still take the government at least 5-7 years to eliminate the use of physical cash to a great extent.

Complete digitization of the payment system may take 10-15 years. Dominos in some countries has stopped accepting cash as a payment method due to the ongoing pandemic scenario to avoid any type of contact even through paper money. So, that’s definitely a step towards digitization.

Everything is correct, but only on condition of stable economic development. If you look at 2020, the word stability can hardly be applied to it. There are too many incidents that can create global problems and disasters. We cannot know what technologies will appear in the near future, it is possible that something that will replace all financial assets will be invented, or there may be a war that will stop all development on the planet.

27  Economy / Exchanges / Binance is sued by Japanese crypto exchange Fisco on: September 15, 2020, 09:16:07 AM
Binance is sued by Japanese crypto exchange Fisco for allegedly facilitating the laundering of $9 million

Crypto exchange Binance has been sued in a U.S. court by Japanese crypto exchange Fisco for allegedly facilitating the laundering of more than $9 million of stolen cryptocurrency.

On Monday, Fisco filed a 33-page complaint in the Northern District Court of California, saying that Binance's "lax" know-your-customer (KYC) policies allowed cybercriminals to convert stolen crypto from Zaif exchange to other crypto or cash. (Fisco is the owner of the Zaif).

Zaif was hacked in September 2018 and lost around $63 million worth of cryptocurrency, including bitcoin, at the time. Fisco says in the complaint that "thieves who hacked Zaif eventually laundered 1,451.7 bitcoin through Binance," citing blockchain analytics. The laundered bitcoin was valued at approximately $9.4 million at the time. Today it is worth more than $15 million.

Fisco says Binance's KYC and anti-money laundering (AML) protocols are "shockingly lax and do not measure up to industry standards." Specifically, Fisco says, Binance's KYC policy allowed new users to open accounts and transact on the exchange in amounts below two bitcoins without providing any meaningful identification. "The thieves broke the stolen bitcoin into thousands of separate transactions and accounts, all valued below the 2-bitcoin threshold...In short, Binance served as both a receptacle and transmitter of criminal funds," reads the complaint.

29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Microsoft Spotted New Malware That Puts Cryptocurrency Wallets at Risk on: September 03, 2020, 10:39:15 AM
A new form of malware called Anubis is now out in the world after being circulated for sale on cybercrime dark markets in June, according to Microsoft Security Intelligence. Using forked code from Loki malware, Anubis can steal cryptocurrency wallet IDs, system info, credit card information and other data.

Importantly, this malware is distinct from a family of Android banking malware also called Anubis.  It joins a growing list of malwares that look for vulnerable cryptocurrency stashes.

“The malware is downloaded from certain websites. It steals information and sends stolen information to a C2 (command and control) server via an HTTP POST command,” said Tanmay Ganacharya, partner director of security research at Microsoft.

HTTP Post is basically a data request from the internet. It is also used when you’re uploading a file or submitting a completed web form.

30  Economy / Economics / Re: world war 3 is coming ...do to coronavirus / economy ... on: August 28, 2020, 07:56:42 AM
In my opinion, all this is nonsense. The intensity between the countries fell very much due to the coronovirus pandemic, although it seemed that a military conflict was inevitable.
What is happening now is more like a political game. Ahead of the new Cold War, using all the capabilities of information technology.
I think again some third-country country will remain the loser on the territory of which strong countries will work out "military exercises."

I agree. This pandemic did the opposite it only bind all world countries closer together. Many realised or will that we can fight virus only together. No matter what one country do virus will stay on Earth if other countries dont care about it much. It is not just about covid-19. Many problems Earth have are similar. They can only be solved globally.

Knut is back to square one (almost). In the future, humanity will not fight with each other, it will fight against an invisible threat - viruses.
Now we have seen a clear demonstration that we are not ready for this danger. I can't imagine what will be convincing if a new virus appears during the war or worse.

31  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: August 28, 2020, 07:50:41 AM
First people on this planet lived without banks, therefore we could also live without it however it might be hard to make adjustments specially that we so dependent on it for a very long time.

Even if the cryptocurrency will become more stable form of payment, it could take decades before we are all transitioned or adopt the new system.

The first people on the planet lived without money, they had no technology and had completely different values. They faced completely different tasks in the framework of their survival and reproduction.
To come to their state, we must destroy everything that was built over thousands of years, and stay with a bare ass in the literal sense.
We can no longer exit the banking system without loss if we do it quickly, for example, if we face a banking crisis. It will affect everything, and it will be a terrible time.

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is 5 years old today! on: August 27, 2020, 07:16:23 PM
I should bought a lot when its still cheap. 5 years of work and development I think finally ethereum can showcase the true color of the first smart contract platform. I guess defi has really good timing when eth 2.0 is gonna be out. I am wondering what would happened to eth platform when its on a new environment. Everybody is anticipating what could be the effect of their migration especially on price. I dont want to speculate but its gonna be a trigger to possible breaking their ATH last 2017.

However, you are speculating)
There is always a chance to see new high points, just as there is a chance to never see them. But this is a cryptocurrency, it is extremely speculative, and it has just begun its development.
Everything will depend on its spread.
At the same time, the price of Ethereum has grown steadily over the past month by 50%. Great birthday present.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What difficulty do you face on trading bitcoin? on: August 27, 2020, 07:12:50 PM
It seems to me that today there are too many ways to trade bitcoin to limit yourself to the limits of the country in which you live. There is the Internet, there are exchanges that do not require KYC, there are cards from other countries that allow you to exchange bitcoin for fiat, there are exchangers that will help you to anonymously exchange bitcoin for fiat. No matter where you are, you can use and trade bitcoin on the web anonymously without any problems.

34  Economy / Economics / Re: What brings economy of a country down. on: August 26, 2020, 11:18:25 PM
The countries with the worst economic decline tend to be heavily dependent on other, more developed countries.
For example, those countries in which the national currency is provided by the currency of another country, for example, the dollar, which in turn is not backed by anything.
The collapse of the dollar entails a fall in the currencies of all countries with which it is provided.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: August 26, 2020, 11:14:31 PM
Almost everyone says that will dominate the market is bitcoin, because they always believe that bitcoin is the best and popular coin of all time.
because most people choose bitcoin because it proves to be profitable compared to other coins and always gives a good return, especially in long-term investments.
Bitcoin shows the most potential out of all the others on the cryptocurrency market, that's why a fair amount of people trust it, and ever since bitcoin reached an all time high last 2017, it had become a mainstream coin and basically became the face of cryptocurrency for quite some time. I still have trust on bitcoin, but who knows? The competition is pretty much close right now, let's just wait and see who comes up on top and stays there.
We can't really predict the future of crypto market, especially when number of changes around the globe are happening that would surely affect the standing of crypto currency. But, I still choose Bitcoin for its popularity and proven times it has survived even with the constant changes in the market. I see the potential of Bitcoin in the future to be good and become a high value asset.

Yes, we cannot accurately predict how and in what direction the crypto industry will develop. There are many options.
There is a technological development path in which exactly the blockchain technology will dominate in the future, which means that the market will be formed by projects related to technological support and the development of the technology itself.
But there are development paths associated exclusively with digital technology and the digitization of our reality.
In particular, the digitization of cash and the tokenization of our real assets is already happening today.
At the same time, the error in the calculations is added by the fact that when a certain kind of new technology technologies comes out, which seems inevitable, the blockchain may completely change beyond recognition or disappear due to its inferiority compared to a new, more advanced technology.
In other words, we are completely and completely dependent on those technological discoveries that are being developed now and will be developed in the future.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 effect on your country's economy!!! on: August 25, 2020, 07:29:03 PM
World crisis is inevitable because of the effect of corona virus scares that threaten many lives at risk and already killed thousands of people all over the globe. This pandemic brought negativity towards the economy that many people losses their jobs because of majority of business were force to shutdown in our country due to danger the lives of employees. Vaccine will only be our savior and that's one thing we need to have as soon as possible.

The vaccine will not save us from the crisis. The crisis was inevitable, the coronavirus only brought it closer. Although even now we have not entered its main stage.
The economy always moves in a cyclical manner, the rise is replaced by a recession and recession is followed by a rise. Global economic indicators have long been overheated and need some shake-up.

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: August 25, 2020, 07:27:36 PM
Many lost even their profits and capital out of greed, u do the people if which I was a victim to always sell thier profits and close the trading then use initial capital for another trading but hopefully a new coin not already traded. Most second entries of same coins do end up dumping on you. Let's learn to take profits

A person who waits too long for profit may fall into an mistake caused by greed.
When a coin begins to grow, a person wants to sell it at the highest point, he reaches the moment when the coin begins to fall.
Usually this drop is very sharp. Greed, as a rule, says that there is a chance that the coin will return to peak indicators in the near future, and the person is waiting, looking at the next drop.

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PlusToken Ponzi Goes To Jail on: August 25, 2020, 07:26:08 PM
However, it is better to move than to stand still, even in small steps. The cryptocurrency is not regulated, which means that scammers can feel very relaxed. BUT such cases show us that times are changing, now, before conceiving a scam, they have to think about it. Because there is a possibility that they will be found and sent to prison. Not a single scam is forgotten. It is possible that in 10 years we will continue to jail the people who created the scams in 2017.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What sports do you think that can resume amid Covid-19 scare. on: August 23, 2020, 07:44:38 PM
Currently most of the main stream sports are resuming.  Cricket matches and football matches are already resumed and i know few boxing events to be played in the next month.  The scare of covid 19 is gone and most sporting events are resuming with precautions.

I think soon most of the sport will be fully resumed, unless we meet with the second wave of coronavirus, which again forces everyone to introduce strict quarantine measures. The most important thing now is not to admit spectators, or to admit them in a very limited number with the control of compliance with all possible norms. Otherwise, the situation can only get worse. Now it is very important to bring sports back to the world.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Become Universal Money? on: August 21, 2020, 07:11:54 PM
What do you mean by cryptocurrency expression? It is enough to look at the current global trends to understand that cryptocurrency is accepted in one way or another in almost every country. It doesn't have a massive reach, but with bitcoins you can find a way to cash or cash in almost everywhere. Will this be the mainstream currency? In the framework of state systems, it is unlikely, because everything depends on the banks. But the possibilities for using cryptocurrencies will expand constantly.
