21  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: March 04, 2015, 10:13:05 PM
I am buying more!!!

I will most likely buy more as well. Especially if some panic and dump and the price goes way down.

Less than 1 hour and the countdown begins.

hi,
havelockinvestments is up now but when I'm trying to withdraw my balance it writes "Withdrawals will resume on Wednesday March 4th. "
it is already March 4th AFAIK

Not until 6:00PM....or did you not see that?

Well it is officially 4:00 PM EST, only 2 more hours until the panic begins.....(I guess?)

Havelock is re-open and all funds are in tact. Was wondering when we are going to get our back pay of dividends? Thank you.

And where is TwentySeventy to let us know when we are getting dividends? Well he was online after I posted this, but now he is offline...go figure?Huh?

Havelock literally came up at the end of the workday and I went out to a business dinner right after that. Getting home now and catching up; logged in to see that all prescheduled dividends were paid.

Many times I'll leave the tab open all day so it will show that I'm online all day every day.

Havelock has advised that all works as it should besides trades and withdrawals for the moment (obviously). So, I'll go ahead and calculate all back dividends tomorrow and will issue a big lump sum dividend tomorrow; it may not be at noon like normal depending on my workload tomorrow. This assumes that the dividends script works as promised; will post updates tomorrow.

Sounds good to me thank you TwentySeventy.

According to their website AMHash worked with internet data center companies for deployment, so they wouldn't actually control the buildings where the hardware is located. A police report would be fun to see though.

From https://www.amhash.com/photos.htm

They do data centers different in Chian.

I would just like to hear from AMHash themselves. When are we getting our back pay of dividends?
28  Economy / Securities / Re: HAVELOCK INVESTMENTS - Site will be back up Monday March 2nd on: March 02, 2015, 10:01:03 PM
if everything checks out on weds,   this might be the first time a small/medium size  btc company  actually cameback like they said they would

Havelock site is up, I am logged in and all btc and funds are exactly where they should be. Now to get AMHash to pay us our back dividends.

You probably didn't read this yet:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=833704.msg10610885#msg10610885

=no dividends from amhash.

Only mining operation left seems to be hashnest. Question is until when...

It specifically states: "Until they get Asicminer to give them the bitcoins that have been mined since Feb 8th."

It also states: "That all trading of AMHash will be suspended as well until dividends re-start."

So in other words they are not letting people panic and dump all their shares in haste and waste. I personally think that is smart.

I think all of you guys are just feeding off one another's conspiracy theories. Now as I say this I am also heavily invested into Havelock myself and just as deeply concerned about the "Whole" site.

But here is where some of you are off by your time frames. #1 Havelock has not been down for 2 whole weeks, it first went down on Friday 2-20-15....so it has only been a little over 1 week.

And #2 according to this email (of which I am attaching) AMHash is to resume dividend payouts starting Sunday 3-1-15. So your timing is all way off. If you all are going to rant and rage at least be right on the timing of things.

Plus I got an email from the Dealco fund that is still set to pay it's dividends on time today sometime around 12:00 PM. I will come later today and state whether or not I at least received them.

Here is the attached email from AMHash...
Announcement of The Spring Festival Holiday

Dear Customers,

We will pause the transaction and dividends of AMHash from 10th February  to 28th February for The Spring Festival Holiday coming. And we will restart all those things in the beginning of March.

AMHash Team

Thank you for investing with Havelock Investments!

So based on what I read in this email, AMHash is to resume daily dividends starting tomorrow (Sun 3-1-15).

As I promised to come back, here it is. I did receive an email confirming that I have received a dividend from Dealco fund.
And my shares of the fund are exactly as they should be...and my account balance with Havelock is exactly as it should be as well.

So I have suffered no loss of shares (at least with the Dealco fund), and I have suffered no loss of my bitcoin balance either. So that tells me that at least the little that I can see in that email.....all seems fine. It's just the inconvenience of Havelock site being down more maintenance. So if you all don't have any thing important to rant and rage about then shut your typing hands up.

Monday wow, why so long, what is taking so much time?
If you were hacked just tell people?

+Havelock   Hey Havelock I really want to know if you guys have been hacked. I sent a regular email to you guys this past Saturday (2.22) and you guys responded but avoided my question. Everything I am seeing so far is very vague. Could we just get some real answers here?
34  Economy / Securities / Re: [Havelock] Bitcoin Difficulty Derivative (BDD) on: February 25, 2015, 07:42:44 PM
Hey Havelock the site has been down since last Friday and today is now Wednesday....just how soon is soonish....because that is not an answer. We need a real time please. Not just vague.

I have a question for twentyseventy. After the "End Game" does occur, are you going to do it again with BDD, the same or similar setup? I have enjoyed it greatly, and I strongly encourage you to do it again. I have had fun with it, as I hope you have and many others as well. Plus i hope it has been profitable for everyone.  Grin

Thanks, I'm glad you've found it helpful/useful/fun and I appreciate the comments. To be honest, I haven't decided yet - I know that some are looking for a more easily understood contract these days (with the prevalence of cloud mining, CEX GHS, etc). Depending on the difficulty, this could run for another few months or really for another full year. I'll begin nailing down my next steps, if any, when that time starts to come closer. Cheers  Smiley

Well although I can't speak for everyone, I do have an account on CEX, and on their chat a lot of people were complaining of not making any money with buying the GHS's and the whole cloud mining. I myself gave it a hardy try, but even after a good 5 or 6 months I was still only loosing money with the cloud mining. I ended up selling all of my GHS's with a loss of about 1/2 of my investment. So doing the whole cloud mining thing (with CEX anyway) just did not work for me. The maintenance fees were killing me and that is why I lost money. I kept my account open just for trading purposes only. So far I have been investing in Bitcoin since Feb, 2014 and my best investments are with Havelock Investment funds. I doubt I will ever get back into any cloud mining at this point in time.

Since the PBMining disaster, I've been looking for other mining solutions. So far BDD (B.Mine) seems the best for "right now".

Just looked at Amhash and can not believe anyone would invest in them. Their price is ~25% less than BDD as of this posting, but they charge a maintenance fee that's ~32.5% of payout. So to save ~25% on purchase price, you lose ~32.5% of what you mine daily.

As an example: If you purchased 250 ghashes from Amhash and after the maintenance fee, in effect you would only have the mining power of 167.5 ghashes. Where with BDD, if you purchase 50 units your mining power (even though its not true mining) is 250 ghashes. That's 82.5 less ghashes!!! At today's difficulty that's a lost of 0.03200507 BTC a month.

I guess most people only look at the purchase price, and I agree 0.0012/gh looks better than 0.00161/gh. But, you have to look at the total cost involved.

Has anyone found anything better than BDD?

BDD has an "End Game"; go to page one and read it for yourself. Once the bitcoins runs out the BDD fund manager will buy back all units at no cost and BDD will NO LONGER exist. I admit it is a great short term investment....but short term only. So you can complain about AmHash all you want; but as of Dec 20, 2014 it is the only mining fund that is actually paying good ROI. Peta sure sucks; even though they switched to Slushpool instead of Ghash they still suck. And Scrypt will soon be deleted and converted to AmHash3 units; and then will no longer exist.

So for a longer term investment I suggest AmHash as of Dec 20, 2014. Just remember anything and everything in bitcoin eventually changes; so what is best today may not be best 6 or 9 months from now.
38  Economy / Securities / Re: [Havelock] Bitcoin Difficulty Derivative (BDD) on: December 20, 2014, 06:36:54 PM
I am surprised the trade activity for this is so low. With the decreasing price of bitcoin maintenance fees are rising. This security does not have maintenance fees so pays much better currently.
me 2  but , but at the same time i see so much more hype surrounding amhash, its clearly stealing   bdd's thunder.

to me bdd  is the real  pbmining.   this is how ur suppose to run a pbmining. maybe u guys should advertise ,"the real pbmining" ahahh.

As of Dec. 20, 2014 AmHash Grin is the only mining fund I am making any money on. I am still making some with the mine fund, but it has an "End Game" and won't be around for the long term. So AmHash is the best option for longer term investments with good ROI as of this day.

Thanks for trying to answer, but it still only leaves me with more questions. My original question (rephrased): Are we going to have to wait until a new 200 days begins (brand new) then to get paid dividends from B-Sell? I understand from what I read of the difficulty scenario that there needs to be an 11.5% increase....but that does not provide an answer as to what is needed to get there. Yes there needs to be an increase, I think everyone can see that....BUT HOW? What is needed? What can be done? Are you not mining bitcoin 24/7...so why is there no 11.5% increase?  Huh

Dear JasherEnoch,

If you want to play the game "Bitcoin Difficulty Derivative (BDD)" discussed here, you MUST read and understand all explained in the first message in this thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=430137.0
If you don't understand all that without other explanations, it's better for you to stop immediately playng, sell all and find another game Smiley

Thank you I have seen the light now. I did not realize this was a child's game; I thought this was investing to see a return. Well I have had some good returns on B-Sell in the past so I'm most definitely not complaining; I just thought it would be continuous. I did not know it was all just a game. So I sold some of my shares and invested into other funds on Havelock Investments that are for real investments and not a child's game. I got in a different game.
