21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is deflationary? on: February 03, 2022, 12:15:46 AM
No, it's not. And it won't be I think. It's inflation will be quite low though, and this will help ETH price to grow in the long run - that's for sure. Bitcoin is a bit deflationary - because of the lost coins.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why you will be left behind if you don’t learn NFT. on: February 03, 2022, 12:12:07 AM
JPEG is the most primitive and dumbest kind of NFTs. NFT is just an image of some object (physical, virtual, informational) in the blockchain. Its a certificate, a virtual card with a set of characteristics. And the possibilities here are very promising. You can tokenise literally everything.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe we found a way to avoid taxation!!?? on: February 03, 2022, 12:08:10 AM
I really love governments and their so-called laws... Taxes especially. If you earned something here, in crypto (risking your money, spending your time and nerves), you should give a part of your gains to the guys on the top of the hill. If you lost... well, it's your problem, man, haha  Grin
Isn't this similar to casino/turbo options scheme?
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP: What am I supposed to being doing with Metamask??? on: February 03, 2022, 12:03:16 AM
Ok yall, so my Metamask wallet was hacked back in December. I'd used it to buy and connect to some nodes. I now have someone trying to assist me with getting my nodes back and to do so, I have to re-add the Metamask extension to my wallet. Nervously, I started the process of connecting it again and it is asking me to enter my seed recovery phrase, which to my understanding is the 12-word phrase I got when I created the wallet, which was done on the mobile app. I went through this same process and this is the exact same thing I did when I was hacked before. Why doesn't Metamask just have it where I can go on a site and enter the login credentials that were created when I created the mobile app? Needless to say, I am terrified of doing this because I keep hearing NEVER INPUT YOUR SEED PHRASE, and right after following these same steps before (setting up the Chrome extension) I got hacked. And the site I was on before and am on now is metamask.io.

I am reaching out to you all for help on what exactly I'm supposed to be doing. I only have a limited time to check on my nodes, but to do so I have to involve this wallet, unfortunately.

Seed phrase is used to get full access to your wallet. And to restore it, of course. So, if you want to restore your Metamask wallet you have to use it - there is no other way, bro. But if you are telling us that your wallet was hacked before - what do you mean? Your previous wallet? Or this one?
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra/Diem is dead? on: February 02, 2022, 11:59:18 PM
Why dead? It is sleeping...  Grin

I think we won't see any progress with this project in the nearest 2 years. It's still too early for implementation of such ideas imho. Maybe later...
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will competitors defeat ETH due to ever-increasing gas fees? on: February 02, 2022, 11:57:16 PM
Competitors will face the same problems (and maybe even more of them) very soon Smiley
The older blockchain gets, the more fixed it is. And younger ecosystems loo more safe and convenient until they face some real problems.
Look at Solana for example.

28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of the NFTs on: January 28, 2022, 12:50:37 AM
NFT is a very interesting and promising sphere. Tokenisation itself can bring us a lot of useful products and services. You can tokenise everything you can imagine. I think we will see some really exciting cases here and all these NFT pics are only the beginning of this hype.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just saying on: January 28, 2022, 12:47:22 AM
I think the nearest huge trends in crypto will be: metaverses, web3 and DAOs. They all are only beginning their way and their application is still uncertain, but when we see some nice products with real value to the community, the market will explode.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't punic, just hodl on: January 28, 2022, 12:42:32 AM
The entire crypto market is falling again today, but is this the first time? Didn't it fall the same way in 2021 before the new ATH? And remember what was the level of greed and fear at $40,000 a year ago and now? I see this drop as an opportunity to buy fundamental tokens at a good price. I bought NEAR, Sol, Aurora, Harmony, Link, ADA.

Also a good reason to believe that this is just a correction is the fact that the largest venture capital funds continue to invest money into the market. For example, a month ago Three Arrows Capital bought 156K ETH, or just recently A16z, Alameda, Three Arrows Capital held another round of investment and invested $150M in NEAR Protocol, which indicates that serious guys like a16z and Alameda still believe in growth.

Don't try to convince the crowd to be calm and clever - people will do what they want, especially when they feel fear or greed. Besides, they are not affecting the market hardly their panic sells are just feeding the whales which move this waves as they want. So let it be, just be smart enough to use your knowledge and follow your own strategy.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: There is fear in the market, isn't it time to buy? on: January 28, 2022, 12:37:23 AM
Now there is a fear of investors in the market. Bitcoin has lost over 50% of its ATH since its recent drop, the fear index hit 13, and even altcoins that have held up well on this downtrend like NEAR, LINK, LUNA, FTM have also lost value. Short positions increase Everyone is in a panic, many fix losses and sell....

Does this mean that we have felt the bottom and there will be a rebound soon? Is it time to buy?

I think it is, definitely. If you believe in crypto and think it will grow in the longterm, then why not to buy now? Even if it takes months to restore the market and if the dump even continues... You can't guess the ideal point to enter, nobody knows the future Smiley
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: January 28, 2022, 12:33:59 AM
Neither of these projects have a valid use-case. They are meme-coins. Speculative gambling at best.
I’d be lying if I said I never owned any. But just a few dollars here or there. These aren’t serious projects for real investors. And they probably won’t be around in the next 10 years.

Why choosing one of them? Diversify - buy both Smiley

I think they can compete in the nearest months/years and one can earn here, transferring money from one coin to another after huge pumps. But don't be too greedy - don't try to catch x10 here.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull is back? on: January 28, 2022, 12:29:31 AM
I think it's too early for market to be ruined completely. It's a heavy dump, but not the end of the wave. We will see a tenfold growth this year - that's my opinion. And then it would be a real bloodbath here Smiley
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crash is also a chance to change allocations of your coins on: January 28, 2022, 12:25:54 AM
I would suggest to add Phantom here - quite a promising project as for me. And also I would add Polygon here - pure gem in my opinion. Near is also a very interesting project with great backers.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hoddle or day trading on: January 28, 2022, 12:16:31 AM
I have some altcoins I bought at the ICO stage which did x pricee movement and now are dead while others are still at a stable price but I will like to make some profits at this time should I continue holding or start trading them to make instant profits what will be your advice in this situation.

Trading is gambling, especially if you are not experienced trader. 90% of traders earn less then average investors, so I wouldn't suggest you to make such experiments unless you want some experience instead of money Smiley
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How will Coinmarketcap look in 2025? on: January 28, 2022, 12:08:04 AM
Nah, no crypto can overcome Bitcoin in capitalisation, forget about it. The Father is a foundation of all this market and its value will be dominating the market as long as it exists. I think, BTC will rise to 400K+ in the nearest 1-2 years and then drop down to 50-60K until the next bull wave.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: we can still rely on the bounty.. on: January 28, 2022, 12:01:14 AM
more confident with tokens generated from bounty than airdrop that are currently widely available on social media..!!
what do you think about the current airdrop?
is there any hope for the future?
and is anyone still looking for luck by joining the airdrop?
What potential airdrop tokens did you get?

You should choose only the strongest projects and the ones that are not very popular among the crypto community. Focus on these two categories and then you will definitely catch some gems over time.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Show a newbie the way on: January 27, 2022, 11:59:07 PM
Now that bear market is slowly taking over the market what can a newbie do to make money in a bear market? Staking is a bad idea in bear market I heard, even mining coins are not profitable in bear market too so what's the way forward?

Ambassador programs are really good now, also testnets and retro airdrops. And you can try some other good activities like nodes installing or taking part in some IDO pools.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to buy and hold on: January 27, 2022, 11:57:30 PM
I prefer not to try guessing where the deepest dip is and think about the whole market. I assume that the current global bull wave is not over yet, so I just buy more coins with great potential every time I have some money for this. And then just wait without any warning.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the highest gas fee you have ever paid? on: January 21, 2022, 01:20:23 AM
Ethereum gas is a total disaster, you are right... I remember some transactions where I spent around 300 USD to pay the fees. My heart was bleeding when I did that and I still woke up at night and cry silently into my pillow...
