War! The media today has been part of the factions that fuels and incite some of the wars we having in recent times. T he manner at which the paint stories that makes the news about issues concerning two factions at war its enough to exacerbate issues. some news we get from the media if we do our own personal digging about the real stories as it happened we won't be taking up arms and exchanging attacking words on each other. The media today breaks the news as it suits them to the attraction of  sympathy to their favoured side in the warring factions.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your state on mind if your son stole your money to gamble? on: January 23, 2024, 12:25:30 PM

Now, the mum is calling on everyone she could to intervene, discipline the child and force him to provide the money in any means he can without the concern of how he could refund the money.
oh the parent would have really felt disappointed right now as she didn't raised the child that way.

Anyways, the child shouldn't just be disciplined for discipline sake but should be chastised in a manner that points to the danger of his actions and, he shouldn't be required to provide the money he had stolen and used to gamble, it could lead to worse case scenario if you know what i mean.
23  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 23, 2024, 12:06:34 PM
There happens to be a host of sell pressure due to the GBTC sell.
If i were you out there with so much cash in hand, I'll take the initiative of the dumps right now to stack more bitcoin,
its not about the present its about the future after the sell pressure would have stabilized.

And don't forsake to stack wisely.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the kind of world you want to live in? [read] on: January 09, 2024, 12:06:58 PM
As a bitcoiner for which privacy is the bedrock of bitcoin at times when you sit down to meditate on the sudden chilly reactions of the SEC to the approval of the bitcoin ETF you just stand in utmost confusion either to be happy or sad at the same time. The institutional take over is alarming and suspicious and truly the only weapon to the distabilisation to this underground centralized crusade of taker-over against decentralisation is the use of decentralized platforms by bitcoiners. kyc is a bastard and an enemy of financial freedom and privacy.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will any other coins like Bitcoin be discovery in the future? on: January 09, 2024, 11:39:04 AM
In the light of truth bitcoin is an exceptional coin, its no hype for it has proven itself and gain the status it posses today under a decentralized mechanism and protocol that many altcoin before and after it profess to deliver but practically they are just below standard or don't stand the test of time. i dont care for a any new discovering of any coin liken to bitcoin, what i currently care about is the continuous expansion of bitcoin adoption and development. for if its not bitcoin it surely cant be bitcoin.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should altcoins be blamed? on: December 20, 2023, 12:02:53 AM
I get why some peeps aren't into investing in Bitcoin, everyone's different.  But seems like interest keeps growing - can't blame people for being curious and  personally Id tell my friends Bitcoin over random alt coins any day.  Not that some alt coins don't have potential but Bitcoin just feels more solid. Course if you wanna speculate and take some risks, maybe higher rewards with the smaller cryptos.  But as a safe bet stick with the big dog.  Even throwing a bit of cash Bitcoin's way here and there can add up over time.  Thats my two cents anyway.
When going into any form of Investment there a crucial key areas to pay attention which are scalability, trust and sustainability and you can find all of this with bitcoin when outsourcing for a cryptocurrency to invest on that's why bitcoin is the only coin to comfortably recommend to a new investor any time and day. What's required is patient/time and knowledge and you're on the go for a sure profit. This is the confidence that's lacking of altcoins.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Idea and money are very important to investment. on: December 01, 2023, 09:18:27 PM
Even the worst idea could be executed very well with right amount of money and right amount of work with skillful people.
.A worst idea is a worst idea no amount of money can make a worse idea make sense,  money thrown into a worse idea is equivalent to a wasteful spending. For a business to flourish it's not in the amount invested into it but the idea behind the business. Give credit to business ideas, investors spend money to attend business seminars to gain business ideas that will grow their businesses. If money was that enough to make a good business many businessmen will not spend money attending seminars for ideas ,their money would have been sufficient.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Will the bitcoin network be affected if? on: November 29, 2023, 01:16:06 PM
Here to learn .
It's true that years from now the quantity of bitcoin mining a day will drop low from what we are having today making miners to direct complete reliance on bitcoin transaction fees and and if am not mistaking, on bitcoin price too for their reward. Going forward, with bitcoin mining quantity dropping won't miners decline inordinately too affecting the bitcoin network security if one of the two is not constant ?

Treat this as a harmless question.
29  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The common saying Health is wealth on: November 28, 2023, 06:35:15 AM
Let's take this from two very perspective, the perspective of :
  • The shop or business is there only means of survival and they basically do not have anything at hand to go for the checkup so they need to stay and make sales before going for the check up. Sometimes the person might become unfortunate but in this case the person is not to be blamed.
We have 365 days in a year and in all the days there should be no excuse for not having the time, money to go for medic checkup except the trader doesn't priorities his health  as he does with his business. In the course of not not having anything in hand as the excuse you have given and the trader got very sick finally breakdown in the health the business will continue to exist. There shouldn't be an excuse when dealing with our health.

Quote
  • Secondly, illiteracy can be the reason, most people don't have this knowledge about the dangers of self prescription and medication, this was all thought in our basic education but even some knowing they still prefer doing harm than good to themselves.
This second perspective you have given soeaks volume about the first perspective as it concerns the trader living in the delusions of not having time and money to go for check-up but you discover that they have money to stock goods into their business but don't have the money for their health care, this is what illiteracy can do to a man.
30  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Restart, is it a good thing for humanity? on: November 26, 2023, 10:54:48 PM
What is your opinion about a restart of modern civilization?
Where no internet, no satellites, no military exist? Of course we will still have land lines, TV, but no secret, no banking system, no fighter jets, no drones, no missiles, nothing.

Do you think we will change as a race to become better? Or do you think we can never change and are doomed no matter what?
is it civilization that's the problem of humanity? Civilization made life simpler for us all, it's just a small number of men out of over 8 billion that decides to get too greedy and selfish wanting to have it all in the lead and that's how we all got to where we are now.

Supposing it's possible for a restart things will still move to this stage, maybe you will want us to be restarting over again each time we get to this stage. Grin
