21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] TRUCKCOIN: For the fastest decentralized global market on: November 13, 2017, 09:14:39 PM
UPDATE!! Truckcoin Pre-ICO sold out in a day. Now headed to ICO running through from 1st-31st December 2017. Make sure you get in early to avoid missing out AGAIN!!!
That's really a great news to hear.Hope that most would not be willing to lose the ICO sale the next month.Pre ICO coins of 3,00,000 just sold out in one day.Good luck for the project.
yeah, things are looking good. Looking forward to december 1st, it's a friday so hopefully more people will be able to get in as soon as it launches.

If people really want to get in, there is no reason why the day on which the ICO opens should matter. The ICO is open for a whole month. So there will be enough time for everybody to get their coins.
22  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the next Bitcoin ATH? on: November 13, 2017, 08:08:22 PM
I am just wondering about the next level to reach in this cryptocurrency game what do you think about it  Huh

Pretty sure it will be one level up again.

If the bull run starts again, I think we could reach $10k before people start booking profits. I think we will stagnate at $10k for some time, and then proceed further. It could happen quickly if there is a trigger like Bitcoin futures actually start trading.
23  Economy / Speculation / Re: Soo Soon ? BCH - BTC on: November 13, 2017, 06:41:28 AM
How many of you bought BCH hoping it to replace Bitcoin over night? yesterday BTC and ETC received their biggest pumps, now they're down, next time you wanted to invest on some profitable coin, try BTC, Ξ not their clones.

I don't think too many would have done this. The rise in BCH and the corresponding correction happened way too quickly. The day traders might have tried to get in on the action, but most others would have just observed it calmly.
24  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC go back to 7k+? on: November 12, 2017, 07:20:08 PM
There is a lot of uncertainty right now, but my gut feel is that Bitcoin will recover to $7000+ within the end of this year. A lot of people might be hedging their bets between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash, but I feel there is sufficient room for both to grow.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell BTC and buy Bitcoin cash. Bitcoin cash will replace old bitcoin chain on: November 12, 2017, 03:14:35 PM
I really can't see bitcoin cash overtaking bitcoin if people are worried then buy some bch. I still believe that there is a future in bitcoin but we will always see another coin trying to take its place.

It still is a long way off, but Bitcoin is of no use to anybody if transactions are slow and expensive. Bitcoin needs to get its act together and implement scaling solutions - lightning network or something else quickly. Else its value will slowly be cannibalized by Bitcoin Cash.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 12, 2017, 02:09:25 PM
Reasons for new Zealand loss against India, chahal and  bumrah bowled really well and because of rain pitch was little damp and also the outfield.

The Indian bowling as well as Fielding was marvelous, even though it was a short score, they defended it very well. I can't wait to continue the season with Sri Lanka.

This is going to be a good series to watch out for.Sri Lanka has new players who are not much experienced with Indian conditions and would try to do things in a different way to give some tough fight to the hosts.

But most of the sub-continent pitches are similar so not much difference for new players. SL has to do something to get back their form and win some series otherwise other new teams may overtake them easily and these guys may also need to play the qualifying matches to enter world cup. This time they escaped but they continue like this they may need to do it.

The Indian captain Virat Kholi is taking a right decision in selecting his team and placement according to the condition of pitch and the fielding of Indian team is excellent as the young team make all the other country player to get panic which they give opportunity to India to dominate and continue with success report.

But I don't think Indian captain has got so much talent in leading the team because he got a good team to support that's why they can manage to win the matches. I still think that Dhoni should lead the team until the next world cup then team India got a better chance to win the cup. But Kholi is a good player and need another one to two consistent players like him to win big matches outside India.

Are you serious here saying India captain virat has not the right talent to lead the team, he's a warrior, an executioner and instead of pressing someone to do the dirty work, he does it himself, provokes opposition, chases the target, motivates all the player's, interacts with all, he even got the head coach removed for his team. Former Indian captain, also knows kohli is right to lead and he's just grooming him further, but he really needs to start scoring runs, or he'll be under unnecessary pressure.

This alone should disqualify him from being captain. He finally got what he wanted - an yes man like Shastri as coach. The disrespect shown to Kumble when the team was performing and the coach was doing his job properly says volumes about his attitude. Nobody is doubting his talent but I don't think he has the attitude to groom youngsters, provide them advice and lead the team. You need cooler heads in charge.
27  Economy / Speculation / Re: My take on BCH, 1x, 2x et.al on: November 12, 2017, 01:05:53 PM
It seems the nearest to best design will take that proportion of the market cap all other things being equal.

It seems prudent to treat splits as an insurance policy and hold equal amount on both splits. This is increasingly true, if those chains split again.

Couldn't agree with it more. By holding all the different forks, you are essentially taking a neutral position. Let the market decide which branch is more valuable. You might be in the favour of big blocks or small blocks, but you shouldn't lose your money if the market decides the other fork is more valuable.
28  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-11] Bitcoin Price Decline Continues As Markets Drop Below $6,500 on: November 12, 2017, 08:54:48 AM
Whatever the reason for the drop in the bitcoin rate: either it is sold because of the cancellation of the upcoming November fork, or because it is pumped into bitcoin cash, bitcoin will soon be restored in its previous course and grow further. To its leaps in value it is necessary to treat calmly and to know that after each fall there should always be an upswing.

exactly.. we all / BTC market watchers know how it swings ups and downs..  to take a leap for $10,000 ....  BTC shall fall back to $5,000 ..

I too believe in the long term potential of Bitcoin. But now the question has arisen - which is the Bitcoin which has the backing of the masses. Is it Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash? A lot of backers of Bitcoin may bristle at this idea, but nevertheless, it is something which has to be considered.
29  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin drops to lowest level this month as price falls below $6,300 on: November 12, 2017, 07:35:45 AM
Actually, $6000 seems to be under threat. Bitcoin is in the end a momentum trade. When prices were rising, they shot up through various levels ($5000, $6000, $7000) very quickly. Unfortunately, the same holds good on the way down.
30  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-09] Bitcoin Cash Markets Remain Resilient As the Network’s Upgrade Appr on: November 11, 2017, 09:44:59 PM
BCH is just being artificially pumped by big whales who were supporting SegWit2x at first, but now that it's gone, they decided to wage their war on Bitcoin with BCH. But this will only make them lose their money, because there's still a lot of unclaimed BCH coins, since many people didn't bother to go through the process of claiming since BCH price was just 5-7% of Bitcoin's price. Also, Coinbase haven't released coins to their customers yet and when it will happen this coin will crash hard. Without users support any altcoin is doomed, and there's no reasons why anyone would support it, there are better alternatives with cheap fees like Litecoin.

I doubt if the unmoved Bitcoin Cash coins are due to people not being bothered. Most people just left it untouched because they weren't sure what they would be worth in the long run. Dumping them immediately would be an act of speculation. Even the forum coins (bitcoin cash) have not been dumped.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin feels like an empty room with plates of half eaten food and balloons on: November 11, 2017, 03:21:55 PM
2017 party is over??  Cry

The party has just moved next door, where Bitcoin Cash is celebrating. Bitcoin + Bitcoin Cash = $7600 now, which is not that bad, considering we were at $900 at the start of the year. The hot money might move into Bitcoin yet again.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 11, 2017, 01:48:13 PM
Looks like Australia are dominating the Women's Ashes as well. Ellyse Perry has scored a remarkable 218. Australia have a 168 run lead in the first innings. England will have to play very well to try and draw this match.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens when the "Greens" object to bitcoin on: November 11, 2017, 12:11:29 PM
Well, let's see, the "greens", yes the "greens".... hmmm.... yeah....

About 10 year ago, when I would go to the grocery store, I'd see those little reusable grocery bags. I'd see them everywhere. Even the grocery store was giving them away for a while, then later selling them on the cheap... trying to promote using eco-friendly reusable bags instead of those thin plastic throwaway bags that are bad for the environment. For a while it seemed to be working.

Fast forward to today 10 years later, and at the grocery store literally NO ONE is using the reusable bags, they're ALL using the plastic bags that are bad for the environment. The grocery store is not even selling or giving the reusable grocery bags away anymore. Because apparently it was all a fad and no one really cares about the environment that much, if it sacrifices convenience.

So what does that tell you?  Roll Eyes  Tongue

That is true. If the greens generate enough noise, the government will impose an additional cess/tax on miners. The miners will incorporate this in their profitability calculations, or just move away to where the electricity is cheaper.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin versus Bitcoin Cash Civil War Is Intensifying on: November 10, 2017, 09:50:27 PM
Both can co-exist. It is the altcoin market which has to worry. Those who were leaving bitcoin because transaction fees were very expensive can move to Bitcoin Cash. It doesn't really matter whether Bitcoin has a higher marketcap or Bitcoin Cash has a higher marketcap.
35  Economy / Speculation / Re: Save the value on: November 10, 2017, 07:53:57 PM
So bitcoin price now crash and if you have 1000$ bitcoin it may be back to 900$ tomorrow so what will do ??

for me will exchange bitcoin to ETH and when price back to this point  will made other exchange from ETH to bitcoin and get free ETH

Shear us your strategy to deal with this crash ??

Do you think it is a brilliant strategy? If you shift and the price recovers quickly, you will be left wondering what to do. If you are a long time holder, you won't be bothered about all these short term dips. That is my strategy.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why did the price of bitcoin rise so much in 2017? on: November 10, 2017, 07:08:05 AM
I think the question to ask is why was the price so low before 2017.  Grin 2017 is when the market discovered itself. You had institutional investors talking about Bitcoin. When they actually put money into Bitcoin, you will see another rally.
37  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Must Crash - $7500 Is The Peak on: November 10, 2017, 12:05:13 AM
I would define crash as anything below $3,000. We are a long, long way from that. Bitcoin is already stabilizing and has refused to go below $7,000. The consensus is that we could make a move to $10k anytime soon.

39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are hard forks the poor developer's ICO? on: November 06, 2017, 08:38:21 AM
Are hard forks the poor developer's ICO?

Two attempts since August to hard fork bitcoin, two more ahead of us. These developers just want lay claim to the best cryptocurrency and instead of creating it from scratch they feel they need to hijack bitcoin - why?

Developers who pursue hard forks really are trying to get something for nothing. And they give us something for nothing (in the airdrop) to try to get us to subscribe to their sheisty intentions.

Hard forks are great for Bitcoin, because the prove that Bitcoin is right and strong. But I don't see how anyone can have pride in supporting or developing a hard fork.

Can you?

Technically, forks and ICOs are different. Bitcoin Gold was not a fork, because it incorporated a pre-mine. Bitcoin cash is the best example of a fork. Right now, I think people have figured out that adding 'Bitcoin ' to a coin's name boosts valuations. That is why you have all these variants.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: November 06, 2017, 08:34:08 AM
What are the features that a good investor should have? What are the characteristics of people who have enough capital and earn money from money?

What are the factors that make these people successful in their investments?

I heared from a conference where the Alibaba's founder, Jack Ma is speaking. He said that when everyone is patronizing a product, don't buy or invest in it. Find another one where no one gives attention and evaluate it.

Those kind of contrarian views might pay off once in a while, but not always. Even if you are able to find a product or tech which nobody patronizes right now, you are taking a punt on its prospects in the future. The market is doing the same thing- betting that it will become even more popular in the future.
