21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cash out or let it ride? on: June 12, 2024, 08:45:00 AM
It's your choice OP no one here knows what you played like you, and thigns like this it's best we trust our instinct than ask people about it, but don't be greedy, just do what you feel like.

But if you ask me for my opinion on this, I'll say let it ride cause sometimes or most times after I cash my game out it always enters and i feel cash out us a bad thing for me cause it has never saved me or rather I don't know how to trust myself well enough to make the right decision in the kind of situation.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does prediction in sport work for you? on: June 12, 2024, 08:42:02 AM
In all my years of gambling I've only touched three sports, which are football, basketball and hockey, I only watch and know about football but have little experience about the rest so I only chose them based on odds and by doing research about the teams but I have luck with it a little, I don't play virtual or any online spin the wheel kind of games cause I feel they can be rigged and it has never favoured me at all, so I just quite it.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: June 12, 2024, 08:38:47 AM
They isn't any way they woudl lose money all the time but just been addicted can increase that chance if them losing money all the time cause they would gamble when their emotionally unstable and that alone can increase their chances of loses, they would always chase loses and lose even more, so its bad to be addicted in general.
24  Other / Off-topic / Re: You can not win if you do not risk on: June 12, 2024, 08:34:44 AM
Well I'll rather put it this way, no stake no win or no loss, cause many people are tied down with the belief that they they risking their money to get more but that can be wrong too, cause any money that has been staked is considered lost and a slip has been given to you to confirm that, so right untill you win the game your slip then becomes money again, but only stake what you can afford to lose its a gamble.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you really want from gambling? on: June 12, 2024, 08:32:05 AM
In soke way gambling may seem to pointless, bit everyone first has a reason to gamble and that is to make money form some bets but after while and you start becoming more conversant with how gambling works and you are now able to predict the games yourself, there is every possibility that you may want to gamble to pass time, I've seen peopel come to a gambling shop to spend some huge amounts and when you look deeper they rode a fancy car and seem to carry a big bundle of cash, the question is does this guy really gamble for money? Cause i believe they are a thousand ways to for him to really use his money make clean profit then why gamble it away, its not capital issues but rather it has becomes something he like to do, so I think making predictions can be a little fun or let's call it addiction.
26  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Ricardo Salinas Urges Followers to Buy Bitcoin as Nigerian Naira Falls on: June 11, 2024, 11:52:25 PM
For me what the billionaire said may be true about investing in bitcoin as a kind of inflation recovery strategy,  but for me i don't see it as the reason we should invest on bitcoin only. the reason I see why we invest in bitcoin is to make profit from bitcoin volatility in the long run and not making profit from the inflation. What if the economy regain from its inflation and you may have spent alot of money in buying bitcoin. For example when $1 was #2000, you bought 1000 USDT with #2million or above and invested in bitcoin and expecting the inflation to increase and suddenly the government decide to reduce the cost of living and there is deflation, where $1 is equal to #500. will it be a wise investment? So investing in bitcoin should be more focused in retirement savings and not for inflation.  Before I was thinking investing in bitcoin was escape from inflation but I have realised that fiat always have inflation and deflation which you might be trapped in investment if there is diflation.

IMO saving in bitcoin would be a very good move for anyone that is already earning high and needs one means to store his value or protect his money from inflation, keeping money in fait is not advisable now, but saving money that you know that you would be needing soon in bitcoin might not be a very smart thign cause as for now bitcoin is still very volatile and even as an investor you have to invest for long term to bother less about the volatility, so i still don't think bitcoin is good as a quick means to store value yet.
27  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Is Investing into crypto really safe? on: June 11, 2024, 07:29:59 PM
I like the fact that you used the word crypto and not any specific, investing in crypto as a whole is risky and as there there lots of shit projects or scam projects so I other to evade about 60% of that risk which is due to investing in the wrong projects then you have to learn to do your own research, what do you have to look out for when doing this, project team, any trading data, how long they have existed, and which exchange they are launched, you should look at tiny details that can help if there are scam or not which is to read their whitepaper, apart from this then if you have invested in the right project, then to learn the difference between memecoins and bitcoin, if you are investing into bitcoin then anytime is the best time to buy, but try not to buy at high with memecoins cause it could crash on you.
28  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: As a newbie how many post are you meant to post per day? on: June 11, 2024, 07:25:21 PM
I think for a newly created account with no activity there are restrictions to how many post you can make per time but that doesn't actually mean that there is any amount if post you areallowee to make in a day, it's all up to you, but you shoudk also take notice as not to spam the forum else you can get reported and given a tag even without warning.
29  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Is it advisable to Recieve airdrop on dapp created on Ethereum Blockchain? on: June 11, 2024, 07:20:39 PM
I grit una country people, abeg I wan ask of e dey advisable make person claim airdrop for dapp wey dey use Ethereum as in gass fee. Abeg make una respond shapperly. I know say gas fee for Ethereum high, abeg make una drop una mind concerning this issue
Yes of course, you are good to go if only you get the fee required to claim your airdrop, besides, airdrops to be claimed or built on the Ethereum network are often successful because mostly they have a good team and partnerships behind it. Nowadays, participating on any airdrop built on Ethereum dApp must lets you interact in their ecosystem with your funds to be eligible for their airdrop snapshot.

it's advisable to select only airdrops that worth it and not worthless airdrops that would occupied your phone storage.
How will you know airdrop that worth it, most one will seems good to be true but fail at last, to me just get engaged in any airdrop and see how it goes.

That's quite a claim bro, you cant just say things like this without reference to any statistics or data from your research, how would we know that most airdrop or projects hosted on the Ethereum blockchain are successful, please this a public forum and many people rely on us for quality information and some of them can make decisions based on those information, it's not good to just say things without providing references or actual research data to back them up and you could be wrong too.
30  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin mentorship. on: June 11, 2024, 07:11:28 PM
Bro your idea no bad oh, buy I don't think bitcoin is a complex subject that anyone would need mentorship on, why do I say this bitcoin no be skill, its not a job opportunity, bitcoin is a digital currency that people need to aware of, when you guys say things like this it makes it look like there is any rocket science attached to investing in bitcoin, to me the answer is no, all public person needs to know is how to buy and store his bitcoin and all this are basic knowledge, to be successful he needs to be a better person all together and maybe also little conviction that he us doing the right thing by investing in bitcoin, by been a better person I mean, staying patient, keeping good emergency funds and having good cashflow management. He is good to go, unless he seems to be interested in reading the whole whitepaper of bitcoin, my bro bitcoin no too complex for person to need mentorship, no be work.
31  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Americans will burn in hell for eternity on: June 10, 2024, 11:03:09 PM
The people of the U.S. have struck a bargain with Satan where a special area in hell has been reserved just for them.

As they have achieved their end of the deal by committing more evil than any other peoples throughout history, the vast majority of Americans will enjoy a slightly cooler area in the fire-pit where they will burn eternally.

Don't you think you should at least tell us what exactly they did more than others to deserve a worse place at the hotter side of hell, last I checked all sins arrle equal and qoudl be judged with death, I not a citizen of the United state but I'm sure they are not all guilty of the crimes you said, maybe a great few but Im sure they are still Godly citizens there .
32  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are signs that you live in a dystopia? on: June 10, 2024, 10:59:41 PM
Our money is already worth less right now as fait continues to do its thign which is to lose value, your list here seems more like a teenager stuff than adult signs, an adult should have fixed his porn addiction and have gotten a real relationship that should be leading to marriage. Real dystopia is a mind game and its your choice to be free, I don't believe I am trapped in any circle of doing same thign or whatsoever.
33  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Everything has changed on: June 10, 2024, 10:54:47 PM
What you are feeling is the fact that fait doesn't mean shit anymore and is constantly losing value and companies don't care, government dont care, banks just keep lending money to peopel and they keep printing new money, and no one has talked about equating our working hours to the deprecation of fait, or try to increase our salary or makes things equal again, but rather our work value keeps getting high and the pay doesn't worth as much, your losing and your inner man knows, so what is they to he happy about .
34  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think that government can stop Bitcoin? on: June 10, 2024, 10:51:00 PM
Do you think that government can stop Bitcoin?

They blew up Nord Stream, didn't they? It would be easy to take out the power grid.

Cool

They? Do you mean the Ukrainians?
Can the Ukrainian government stop bitcoin? They have more pressing matters to attend to Wink
Technically any nuclear power could stop bitcoin by nuking half of the world. That would disrupt power and Internet at the same time, start a panic and kill a large part of the population. Nobody would care about bitcoin for a while

Are you kidding, I wonder which country would take up arms against bitcoin and that woudl be absrd killing half the world to stop peopel from participating in bitcoin, well I think the bitcoin network relies on three thigns people, internet and power, now we have nodes that are responsible for running or would I say make the network what it is, so if peopel are running nodes privately from all corners of the world, even if that happens bitcoin woudl survive and after that peopel would gain interest in it gain as long there is still a means to but and sell.
35  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Racism in Soccer on: June 10, 2024, 10:47:16 PM
Racism has always been here bro and it's not a new thign, but the world of football and sports is fast growing and such children attitude needs to be stopped for the better, if a black man deserves respect give it to him, and right now we have a lot if black footballers doing well in several leauges, but I think the whites are scared that if we learn what they know we would overthrow them, and that's how I personally feel about this.
36  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Too much disasterous threats in relationship and partnerships. on: June 10, 2024, 10:42:34 PM
At times people just mistake emotions and dopermin for compatability, marriage isn't so easily achieved and finding a good partner that you can start a life with and suits your character isn't that easy to find, but where its gets bad is when people just believe that since a person makes you feel happy or loved and gives you the self esteem taht you can't give yourself, you begin to hide in that cloud and end up thinking that you are compatible and eventually after a while and the relationship has to mature out if that you can't handle it, they break up for some reason, IMO if people stop confusing themselves with the illusion of boyfriend and girlfriend and face reality that love and a good relationship needs more than feeling then we would have less breakups and divorced marriages.
37  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I want law and order back on: June 10, 2024, 10:35:36 PM
The last thing we need is Armed Forces on the street. Things aren't even that bad overall.
Are you really fearful of your life/property? If so, turn off the news and go out for some fresh air.

Lol, so funny the way you put it.

I don't think it's the government Fault for this one, what do you have them do hang every criminal they see on the street, taht woudk be a bad idea, law and oder already exists and is implemented, but bad people keeps getting smarter and corruption, but any way if you know where to walk at night and where not to, you won't be a victim, everyone should help himself by trying to stay safe and be cautious .
38  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How to HODL for long. on: June 10, 2024, 10:24:11 PM
Of all the above mentioned, having having emergency funds can play a more vital role for our accumulating journey, an emergency funds play the role of ensuring that we don't sell our holdings upon sudden panic or emergencies, you know in life one thign is certain and that is unexpected events and that can easily make an unprepared person to sell off his bitcoin, why this is so important is cause any money put in bitcoin is considered gone untill investment time is over.
39  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Hope yah still accumulating and holding. on: June 10, 2024, 10:16:39 PM
Bitcoin will definitely surpass the predicted $100k but it is no more anytime soon again even the price too is going down now and if the price was rising gradually then we would have known that the price will hit the $100k but as it is I don't think so. So the best is to be hodling till the next bull run again. And for now make everyone keep on buying and storing enough in their wallets. Bitcoin will rise again in this year and next year before it will finally go down to the dip and bear market again.

That is right mate, this bull run woudl definitely give us a big hope for bitcoin to enter 100k for the first time, but sincerely that wouldn't matter is you don't have bitcoin or haven't accumulated anyone for yourself, what I mostly tell people is that the only way to prepare for bitcoin going up is to get some for yourself and keep accumulating, I know that the price of bitcoin can be very discouraging especially to New investors but you should also consider that bitcoin might also keep on going higher in price and eventually even surpass 100k to maybe 500k and if you start now that is also quite tye profit you woudl have if you have accumulated for more than 4 years or more.
40  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Can Bitcoin help to reduce crime? on: June 10, 2024, 07:33:22 PM
Is bitcoin a means to get income? No, then how would it help decrease crime rate, just as you've said the majority of criminal sprouted from poverty and with little options to survive and taht also means that they can't afford to buy bitcoin too and how criminals have the resources to do a long term investment I bitcoin and still have a stable life, the way i see it bitcoin can't help reduce the crime in Nigeria, well IMO is see bitcoin mainly as a hope for Nigerians with regards to our deprecated naira that Continues to lose its value over time, I know that keeping my money in bitcoin would not only save my value but also give me profits on the long run, now to me that is a better way to view bitcoin than a crime decreasing factor or a job opportunity.
