Yes hallared, 3.0.1.0 final has been released a week before becoming a mandatory wallet update,
I think everybody had enough time to prepare for the protocol change.
I am also wondering what happens to outdated master nodes. The reward is already reduced a tiny bit.

DMD network is growing, since last week I observe more than 250 active IPv4 connections,
if you add TOR and IPv6 connections, we should be well above 300 active connections.

If my observings are correct, the top 1000 wallets own less than 50% of all DMD in circulation since a short period oft time.
In my opinion this is a good sign, wealth distribution is working.

I have the impression, that just a few people actually do sell BTC in panic, but lots of stop-loss orders are being triggered,
so supply increases, the price goes down and as a result of that, even more stop-loss orders are triggered and price goes down even more.

After four years of mining, buying and staking DMD, investing in cloudmining, assisting cryptonit with some DMD related project,
finally my first masternode went online on the 08.01.2018.
I would like to thank the whole foundation team, all the developers and pool operators, all the helpfull people around,
without you this achivement probably wouldn't have been possible.
DMD is no get rich quick scheme, but something you have to work for, something that needs patience, something that is ment to last.

Madmack1, staking is only possible with official DMDv3 wallet, available for Windows, MacOS and Linux. No staking on Android or exchanges as far as I know.

What's the profitability of DMD?
When you have a DMD Master Node (10k DMD) about 8 DMD per day, when you have 250 DMD about 1 DMD per week. |

Btw. I am not convinced that livecoin is a good second exchange, compared to bittrex it's volume is small,
I think we should aim for a second big exchange like bitfinex.

My advise for all people who are worried about current price is to wait until 2020. Stake your coins, try to get a mater node, or invest in a shared master node. Don't sell in panic, but be cool, really cool. Cool as a diamond  Mr1k please don't be so toxic to our CVO! |

hopefully price will bottom out soon, with almost half of all DMD locked away in masternodes i thought this would really help sustain the price....i guess there were alot more speculators around the 3.0 release than i thought
$10/dmd was really nice when it lasted...
My impression is that this downward trend is not caused by speculators, but by master nodes who sell some of their earnings. As soon as we reach phase 2 of DMD v3 coin distribution it will be much harder go get any serious amount of DMD. |

Concerning DMD community projects,
I have been thinking about some high quality DMD merchandise products, like LED illuminated 3D laser engraved glas, or engraved swarovski cristalls.
I will ask in some shops what they could offer me, but I can't promise any timeline, because I have some other important projects at the moment.
