Is there anything we could do to help Monocle at all regarding a website and block explorer?

I think it's important what kind of image we want to portrait with the videos.

It's great that these have an educational take on them, but I feel that it would be more professional with a "real" video instead of animations... That said I think Hamuki's video is cute but I have a hard time voting on any of the current ones as something to promote LTCD with...

@Bitcoin Operated Boy - No need to be condescending.   I have been here (LTCD) since the beginning and in cryptos long enough to read thread after thread full of bitching and whining. This thread is quite positive actually. The only reason for me to post anything at all is the community aspect of the coin. I'm not really active on bitcointalk otherwise but I have read every single post in this thread. I can see that there is some propaganda going on here but it doesn't bother me.

What I don't like is when people call others stupid for selling low. It's really not constructive. If someone feels the need to sell, it is their choice and someone else will get cheap coins. That nonsense should just stop imo.

I think the enthusiastic outbursts made by some community members is quite refreshing actually and gives a positive vibe to the coin. Much better than complaining about the price or something. Even the best coin is nothing without a vibrant and active community.

@XirCom - Congratulations! It's great to have someone as enthusiastic as you doing the marketing and PR for this coin! Will invest more.

Well, I'm not going anywhere... I still believe in the VTC / MON community.  I'm not sure that many understand (other than us) how fast the block rewards are going down for this coin though and that it's going to be very rare in the future. It's not a BTC clone in regards to distribution at all.

I just wish the VTC community would see the potential in this coin. It's just a matter of perception and that's why it would be great if the devs could highlight MON as something else than a testcoin for new VTC features. It's much more than that, it's "Vertcoin Limited"... at least in my eyes. 

I have been using the Monocle wallet since launch on multiple computers and I haven't had any trouble with it. It would be preferable that the wallet wouldn't trip any false positives but I wouldn't let that stop me from installing it. I haven't heard of any problems with this wallet regarding safety.

Just stock up on those MONs while you can at this price! At least that's what I do! 

I've been mining, buying and holding MON since the start and it has to be one of the most undervalued coins on the market considering the specs. Somehow the developers dropped the ball when it comes to presenting the coin during launch. This coin could have been launched with a bigger fanfare for sure. Now many think of it as purely a test coin for new features destined for VTC. Would this be one reason for low buy support and many miners not interested in merge mining both coins?

Maybe the devs have some great plans to highlight Monocle as it's own coin with superior qualities to most other altcoins? Would be great!  Not every single new feature has to make it to Vertcoin, right? 

But the website graphics just has to go... the site doesn't reflect the standard of the coin. Apologies if I hurt someones feelings.
