BTW, burstmultipool.com will run the same way the old Cinnipool did - shifts will end automatically every 6 hours. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) okay, tried to connect, but I'm getting a 'dead' message on the status, do I have to use my burst alphanumeric or just the numeric account number? anything else I need to know? Its working for me on X11. I used the regular burst wallet address, the BURST-XXXX address. alright, I will go back to having it setup that way and check again. Thanks. I think there is something wrong with the coin switcher, I started getting errors, closed the miner and restarted and now its working again.

doge are you the multipool dev?
That is correct. I think i have everything setup correctly im using and R9 290 and getting 702Mh/s. Does that mean ill get 702*125=87750 burst a day?!?!? Do you mean kh/s?.... what's your address? BURST-EY4T-BYFW-25MW-FJ7Z9 It looks like you're only submitting invalids from here. Are you sure you've got it setup correctly? I am not sure i just grabbed cgminer and tried to set it up. I dont even know if im using the right utility. What settings should i have? I have it setup as follows cgminer -o stratum+tcp://pool.burstmp.com:3333 -u BURST-EY4T-BYFW-25MW-FJ7Z9 -p x ?? It doesnt give to much info on what or how to set it up Looks like you're mining SHA? Check your algo's No clue what your talking about lol sorry.... how should it be setup? try cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.burstmp.com:3333 -u BURST-EY4T-BYFW-25MW-FJ7Z9 -p x what about cudaminer? i have a 780ti i would like to see how it does cudaminer is what you need yeah got cuda working getting about 500+kh/s but how do i setup sgminer? I downloaded sgminer 5.0 pre-release but no readme on how to set it up As far as I'm aware sgminer, much like cgminer is OpenCL based, which Nvidia cards really don't do well with. You're much better off sticking to cudaminer for scrypt or ccminer for the X algos.

received PM from nicehash.com would it cool if we can rent/lease disk space on nicehash ? what do you think, should we do this ? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FZhNsubF.png&t=663&c=mlm9A8mnTrLR3A) Amazing news. I need more Burst) I wonder how this will be implemented since plots are tied to wallet ID. By renting storage you mean I can rent a chunk of 2 Tb and then the tennant starts plotting on my drive? Most likely NiceHash will assign each miner their own public key, so they only have to plot once. The output from the miners will then go to the Renter. How will that mine BURST alt's? With the current implementation you would only be able to mine one coin at a time. But who knows maybe stratum integration will allow you to plot without a public key, allowing you to mine BURST and its inevitable clones with a single plotting.

So can anyone tell me what the realistic minimum amount of drive space is needed to mine this coin?
For pool mining, you're gonna need more than 250GB to get shares on a regular basis, 1TB or more would be preferred. For solo mining, I'd recommend 8+ TB. So basically I'm wasting my time trying to solo mine with a 500gb drive I had lying around?

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, why doesn't someone use the block explorer to find out where those coins actually went? Bittrex claims they never received the coins, but then again like some people have pointed out, destroying the unsold IPO should have been the very first requirement to getting listed.

The general consensus is the dev would have to have the brain of a cue ball to use such similar coin names. We don't think it's the same guy. Maybe he's a genius, he knew people would think he couldn't possibly be dumb enough to use such a similar name, allowing him to avoid suspicion by hiding in plain sight! ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) ... or maybe my tinfoil hat is on too tight.
