I have read that the Gamebet team has been reaching out to jared to form a partnership and he's ignoring them.

This is not true, Jared, Me and other devs have been talking to the Gamebet founders/devs, As per HK laws it is illegal to do anything with online gambling so Digibyte/ Digibyte Holdings as it is cannot promote or help developing. But, Digibyte is opensource and everybody can accept or do what they want with Digibyte. |

Huge supply has moved down on DGB. 250 million offered below 188 on Polo! 376 million below 200. If sellers get a little nervous they could easily collapse the bid stack and give you your fill. I've got a stink bid in down there too.  You never know. Good luck. I will do my best to keep the prices above 100 but when i pass the 100 million coin mark I don't want to get anymore as it will be bad for distribution, if the price goes below 100 sat I will buy at 60 sat until I have 150 million coins, after this I stop. Those in the community that can afford 30-50btc should help me prevent a price collapse.
 ~125 is extreme lower range support. For the moment, instead of a break of that level, I think the probabilities of a return to the high 160's is much more likely first. What are the general impressions after the FinDEVr NY 2016 DGB devs? Was it useful or was it not so cool? Any new contacts ?

What do you call it when someone hypes something to the point of publicizing 5 programed tweet announcements to be sent simultaneously with the start of a conference presentation and then completely disappears for almost an entire week?
What do you add to the description when taking into account that the hype happened at the height of a pump and the disappearance happened as price crashed?
What more adjectives might you think of for the person who denies the obvious facts and chooses to attack those who point them out?
Looks clear to me Sad to see you change so frequently, U used to be the longterm supporter not willing to sell or trade in the coming 5 years because Digibyte is so undervalued in your opinion.

For the first time in a very long time I am all in on BTC, both my coins digibyte and AUR got to a price I had to sell. Digibyte will settle at a price I am comfortable to buy at soon and I will use my AUR and digibyte profits to get back in.
I won't purchase digibyte over 50 sat as btc halving coming soon and btc will be pumped around May.
Why do everybody think all alts will dump when btc pumps? ok, maybe the first reaction for people to dump but imo Bluechip alts like Digibyte will flow with Bitcoin price. Think about it, Why would a pumper pump the altcoin when Bitcoin pump is over so during his pump USD value is expected to be lower when btc goes down. Pumping a altcoin in the bitcoin pump is a much better tactic. Make money on the altcoin pump and make more money while btc pumps. |

We might need to think about donations to Jared. He only has 5 million digibyte according to his last post and there is a person close around 1 billion digibyte who is going to get rich off Jareds hard work. With all this effort Jared puts in for no incentive other then to see digibyte thrive is something very rare to see in this world.
He might be taking a big risk with his life, who is paying him a salary to live off? Is this part of the $250k investment to keep feeding him and give him living quarters in Hong Kong

The person that supposed to have 1 Billion digibyte is a fata morgana... I know LTEX very well and discussed digibyte many times. I don't know his current holdings exactly but the estimation of 1 Billion is probably a factor 20 to 50 off.  Another person mentioned he had close to 1 Billion coins. I know LTEX aswell and this is not true. |

This coin is trash. It's entirely plausible that the DigiByte devs have instamined a billion DGBs.
When the devs forked to multi-algo, they reduced the block time from 1 minute to 30 seconds without changing the rewards. This essentially doubled the emission rate. Since they had previously hardforked to introduce a reward decay of 0.5% every 10080 blocks, the decay also increased from a target of 1 week to every 3.5 days.
The devs claim it was an accident when they imported the code from another coin. However, I find this strongly suspicious.
Keep in mind that at the time, DigiByte was nothing but a Scrypt coin that had hard forked to alter its emission rate twice already. Also, the idea of INCREASING inflation is just ludicrous. Why would a dev want to reduce the value of holders' coins? All this coin was bringing to the table was claims of 'professionalism,' while using that stock photo of the cute robot man, and making seemingly erratic dev choices. The market seemed to agree. The price hit an all time low, and there was quite possibly only a handful of people left mining at this stage.
The picture becomes a lot clearer 3 months later when DigiByte announces their 250k investment, which obviously jacks up the value of DGBs. Hmmm.... I wonder who thought it was worth mining all these 1.8 billion DigiBytes emitted over the past 3 months...?
To make things worse, immediately after the news announcement, they reduced rewards in another fork. They claimed it was to reverse the previous 'mistake', but they actually reduced by a factor of 2.75, not 2.
I'm sorry but I can't take this coin seriously.
