21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO vs STO on: February 04, 2019, 05:24:43 PM
We all know the ICO market is kinda dead right now. Not many good projects are out there. And if there is indeed a good project there is the fear it won't go well considering how the 2018 was for the ICO's. The last ICO I invested was 11 months ago and I don't even to get started on how it went and all the problems there are even now. But regardless that, I've seen the hype shift from ICO to STO. Seems that S in STO is really giving security to the investors.
STO in the other hand is not another utility token (most of them have no utility at all), but actually gives you shares on the company and you have some return on your investment just in e few months. Obviously not the whole investment but you can see smth entering your wallet.

My question is: Will 2019 be the year of STO?

when compared to events like last year, it seems like today many are trying to lead new investor hype and also to make the market recover with new products and they try to use STO. , If this is the goal, maybe they will just repeat the same mistake. ICO and STO has no difference in this case. The point is they just need new investors  Grin
22  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes need to avoid in day trading on: February 04, 2019, 05:19:31 PM
1.Don't trade based on your emotions, just concentrate on FOMO and FUD.
2.Only risk the amount which can be affordable for you or just don't enter into that trade.
3.Don't use the technical analysis more, its just a tool to predict but still there is no reason for it to happen cent percent.
4.Don't day trade only if you don't understand it.

Enter the market for daily trading can actually be a pretty fatal mistake, Also if you dare to risk any amount of it, actually no one can't afford their money.
I prefer to choose not to day trade even if i understand the condition and market circumstance
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Nerd money or not? on: February 04, 2019, 05:14:18 PM
I think that is indeed suitable for bitcoin. Moreover, nerd money is just a term because people think that bitcoin can only be used for a number of things and will be difficult to receive from the general public. Seems i just fine with this.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: R u consider rich holding crypto during hyper inflation on: January 31, 2019, 03:39:43 PM
In Venezuela ppl r experiencing hyper inflation. It can ruin ppl financially. If u hold crypto before ur currency hyper inflates . U r consider rich? Trouble times but crypto helps in economic times definitely.

it only applies when hyper inflation occurs, the assets we store in crypto form certainly do not change too bad only when the currency is paired with VEF, it is just the same as VEF got hyper inflation, so if they didn't want get that, it must be converted to USD or other
25  Economy / Speculation / Re: After Chinese new year BTC price will rise? on: January 30, 2019, 05:37:44 PM
I think it's not that easy, big holidays will not make market recover quickly, because there is no logical reason for this.

why should they buy a coin at that time?
what about when after the Chinese new year, the market is in a declining condition ? if we fight the market flow it is also not a good thing
26  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 🔥Daily Trade Ideas 🔥Share your ideas with us on: January 30, 2019, 05:34:43 PM
for me, this risky daily trading in overcoming it we have to adapt to the market so that every time don't use the same method, once in a while you have to change the method you use even though it worked well before. this is also to add to our experience and knowledge when there are different market conditions
27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fighting your own FOMO on: January 30, 2019, 05:30:23 PM
Human nature is full of greed, and FOMO.  Not just in trading but in life as well.  And once you recognize it for your trading, you can recognize it in your day to day life as well, and fighting it can help you deal with every day situations with more rationality and logic.

What sort of psychological tricks do you use on yourself to combat your own FOMO?  Do you still get your own FOMO hitting you when you see a coin blowing up all over the place?

Myself, I practice JiuJitsu as well have learned good meditation from a solid instructor, but the most help I have is from support from fellow traders in a good community.  Hahaha like a support group!

yes, everyone has their own way.
for me, I keep assets in a separate wallet, like coinomi or blockchain wallets. Not in the exchange. that is why when there is good news about certain coins that can cause FOMO, you cannot be rushed, you will think "transactions to wallet exchange will take time and maybe I will miss, better just leave it alone or it's just will waste cost fee." and then you will cancel to send your coins and didn't follow any FOMO
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitch streamer receives 20 BTC donation on: January 30, 2019, 05:24:28 PM
Been slightly active on the Old School RuneScape community due to it being one of my favorite childhood games, and yes, he legitimately received the 20 BTC.

But if its real, anyone thinking to start his own stream with old games?
You can definitely make A LOT of money Streaming. Unfortunately, it's really not for everyone though. You need to have a not-so-boring personality for the people to actually enjoy your stream. I have a few irl friends that has tried YouTube/Twitch but failed terribly due to them simply not being able to entertain their potential audience.

it seems that streaming is only suitable for those who are able to keep talking (but also qualified) and not only talk about what they are doing but also invite their audience to interact, because the audience is ignored, the streamers will also lose them. After all has been done and nothing change, its just our luck.  Grin
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should We Trust Blockchain ? on: January 29, 2019, 11:43:40 PM
Of course yes. I think it's the unique thing which we can trust. These news with cryptopia doesn't make any influence on the whole market. Blockchain projects are still confident. I wish more people will start using them.

I'm also sure that we really have to trust the blockchain too, even though the blockchain is still down, but we just believe that something good will happen suddenly and make us happy not only temporarily.

but the longer it will be more difficult, because in addition to the mental traders, fundamentally the current conditions do not support the development of a whole cryptospace, Its very bad to facing a market with this, maybe only some point that could be statment blockchin can be trust
30  Economy / Economics / Re: More Countries Continue To Show Support For Blockchain Technology on: January 29, 2019, 11:30:22 PM
blockchain technology is still new technology and a few countries are using it right now and blockchain adoption is increasing significantly and more and more country will use and support blockchain technology.

however, the support is only in the form of news and in reality there is no development at all on the blockchain they mention, It seems like things like this are only made to lure new investors. The proof ? one thing is some big factory never publish that they make a partnership with them.
31  Economy / Economics / Re: Will 2019 take us to Moon or Mars? on: January 29, 2019, 11:25:15 PM
If there is someone who invests in millions of dollars in Bitcoin this year, I am sure that the price of Bitcoin will rise to Mars quickly, and when prices rise will certainly be followed by other investors who panicked to buy, so we just wait and hope someone will buy Bitcoin with millions of dollars.

I do not expect too much from this year. I will be simply dealing with the day trading. as for the best cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and Ethereum, I will be simply holding them for a very long time.

"for a very long time" is something that is unpredictable, And how "if" even though it's been more than you expected but still there is no movement?
Like just what happened after the last ATH of those coins and now has been more than a years, for some its really frustating
32  Economy / Economics / Re: What's it like to live on crypto instead of Banks? on: January 28, 2019, 11:47:10 PM
I really love to live in crypto it is very easy transaction through payment , shopping , transferring money investment , trading and so others like an easy life. While in a banks you are transaction in person to the bank lossing time is lossing money..

but if cryptocurrency wants full adoption as well as what the bank does it can experience the same thing even worse because of the crypto unpreparedness in this case. They should have a portion of each and every field, and not change the standards and places where they should move. Bank is Offline, Crypto is Online, each ecosystem that have good relation always create something good

33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency Happiness for everyone on: January 28, 2019, 05:33:51 PM
actually, happiness gained in crypto can't all be felt together. logically this also applies to trading, when the market goes up, those who have bought first get a profit, but those who hold are still waiting, that also doesn't mean they will profit because the market can change direction
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No Regrets in cryptocurrency on: January 28, 2019, 05:24:01 PM
After we know how cruel the crypto is and there is no regret, then it seems you need to get your mental check up. Without regret you will never learn new things and be easily trapped in the same place. We have to learn that crypto is so ambitious to grab people money randomly. it depends on when they enter the market  Grin
35  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Liqui exchange shutting down on: January 28, 2019, 05:19:50 PM
Fiuhhh, This news really surprised me, it turns out that this is not the exchange I have ever used. because the name is almost the same. Liquid.com (Quinone). Does exchange liqui need KYC? If yes, then this is very hard for those who just registered.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins That Do Not Depend on BTC Price? on: January 24, 2019, 11:06:24 PM
Are there any altcoins that does not depend on btc price?  As most of you know, btc price goes up, altcoin price goes up.  When btc prices goes down, altcoin price follows.  But are there any altcoins that does not care what btc price does?  If so, what are these coins?

when I was there, try searching for an ACDC coin (Volt) in a coinmarketcap, even though the coin has a pair with Bitcoin, it doesn't change the price on a large scale because they are more to the USDT pair.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations or Anonymity on: January 24, 2019, 10:57:55 PM
These two have been topics of debates for quite some time. Some want Anonymity, while others want Regulation. Either of these two will work best for us.
It will get to a time that we just have to choose between Regulations and Anonymity.

In my opinion:
If blockchain  is redesigned without privacy, everything will work fine. Full KYC will make scams impossible.
What is your take on this?

I think that only in the presence of Full KYC will it eradicate scams, the possibility of a scam even though having full regulation is still there. so regulation in my opinion will also be in vain. The solution, in my opinion, is that regulations continue to run naturally, they will remain anonymous and must stay on track. We cannot damage the initial guidelines of anonymous crypto
38  Economy / Economics / Re: The implications of the market condition on: January 24, 2019, 05:43:04 PM
Considering the market surge of 2017 and the bearish market of 2018.
What is the implications of the 2018 bearish market on the Cryptocurrency market ?
Did the situation increased or decreased adoption rate of Cryptocurrency?

The adoption rate that we have seen so far from the previous year has always increased dramatically, but only in certain sectors that usually have an easy relationship with the internet, unfortunately this is inversely proportional to the market condition which continued to decline from last year
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin collapse by a global government crackdown? on: January 24, 2019, 05:41:12 PM
in my opinion it could collapse because now the government is not serving and opening up opportunities for bitcoin to emerge in this country so for me nowadays bitcoin is not as easy as it once was

yes, if we are really smart, crypto must stay away from politics which always has something to do with the local government because I'm sure they must have refused from the start. Many economists also don't recommend not entering the crypto world because of the risk, if they give advice, the market conditions will be different
40  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: January 23, 2019, 05:17:34 PM
If you don't know how to trade then start small.

My key lesson is to look around.
- If your friends and grandma are talking about bitcoin - GET OUT
- If Bitcoin seems dead and nobody is talking about it - GET IN

Other than that
- Trade slow and long term (years).
- Sit back and relax, don't go gung-ho-trigger-happy.
- Keep stash safe, offline in a vault on at least 2 mediums (digital, paper, stone tablet, etc.).

The problem when keeping it in a cold wallet is that you can't just withdraw anytime. you gotta be a longtime holder if you do that which means you won't mind whether the price falls down to 80%. Dipping this low is an opportunity lost. If I have to keep my BTC in a cold wallet, I have to make sure I bought these coins the time when the price hits its very bottom. One lesson I learn is to dump all when the bear strikes because you never know when bulls are going to come back.

Yes indeed, sometimes we really should not fight the flow of the current market. Some friends tried it and the results were very bad. I ? just watching how the market will go. But we just can't judge one event to all current situation that might be coming. It can be a sign that bear market will give us a profit for short trade
