21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Kingdom - 1991 Retro Virtual World(City) on: January 29, 2015, 07:41:44 PM
Oh dear, once again I am heavily in the red with my daily monetos balance, I thought that creating a business would help out with this but I think its somehow draining more. Does CryptoKingdom have a professional financial advisement service, I would certainly be interested.

I would like to take you up on the offer of the NE tower that has been occupied by my troops. What price did you have in mind?

Checked that in the area, land is about 90/q, and the tower was 62 million, so giving the building at half the price, how does 210 million sound?

That sounds great, I should have the Crypto Kingdom Gold in my account to pay that, I think the exchange rate is pretty decent at the moment as well.

For the esteemed buildings vote I pick the following:

Town Hall(*)
Citadel
Theatre
Noble Palace
Grand Hotel

I will order special hearts and minds training for my troops to assist them in tax collecting, I fear their military training would have hardened their minds to the plight of the common man.

Syme Cigars is now open for business.

Situated in lot F2 with a splended view of the town centre we have a fine selection of tobacco products, our two shop assistants and manager have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the local produce and can cater to all tastes. I recommend our speciality Monero Robusto myself, it's well balanced with a fruity aftertaste.

Thanks to Dame Roopatra for all the work she has put into this and to the band new house I have on my haw.

Greetings to all, I have finished my great work and I am looking forward to throwing myself into the Crypto Kingdom. Thanks to all who worked out my finances while I was away.

I have amassed quite a large amount of stone and was wondering if someone could design and build me a Earl sized property on my haw. For a fee of course.

I have missed a lot of the rules regarding quarries so I will have to go back and read what has been said regarding them before diving in as well. That is assuming these is still space for me.

I notice that my character has built up a large deficit, however there isn't an easy way to reconcile his income and expenses, I did deposit more moneros but I'm not sure if they have shown up. There is also the matter of the army, my loan to Zechariah, and my shares and bonds. I am currently liquidating some of my stone to Luigi but I'm not sure if I should cut down on my support for the army as well?

Alas my exploits around town have been draining all my time recently, I am only able to compose this note as i am currently laid up in bed with some ailment i have picked up, otherwise I would be back to treading the boards at the kingdoms theatre.

I have build up a large amount of moneros sent to the master of coin, Bishop David for investing in projects. Therefore I would like to purchase 100 stocks and 100 bonds as the return would come at a time when I will be seeking to build up my haw.

Apologies for the delay, I had to fund my account, once the transaction has gone through there should be 300 moneros in there ready to buy your shares.

As long as the possibility of a default is covered, I can lend him the moneritos, the cash should already be in my account.

This is speeding along at a breakneck pace at the moment with the old town being pretty much sold out now. To celebrate I will provide for 25 soldiers to defend our loverly city against pillaging.

Our warmest gratitudes. Please confirm that your Lordship is satisfied with the 24 quadrat haw that We have reserved for you in gratitude of this act and of your other noble deeds (marked pink in the City Map/OVERVIEW)!

Indeed it is a most pleasing colour as well, I will take it to be my heraldry. I see the university has a military department as well, I think it needs a donation of 100k stone from me to get the ball rolling. I look forward to hosting a great tournament amongst the townsfolk of the city to find the strongest to aid in its defence.

I'll take 100 shares please, the money should be in my account already.

Yes money is there, but since this is the Town Hall, a common enterprise for all the townspeople, only 30 shares per char are currently sold. Let's see if there is any left after the 48-hour deadline.

My mistake I misread your post, I will wait 48 hours for the other 70.

35  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: November 06, 2014, 12:16:43 PM
In Rpietila's case I couldn't comment because I don't know how Estonia breaks down its tax spending, however using the following chart as a rough estimate (I know is only for the UK and also out of date) I would find it very hard to simply strike out a large portion of it and claim it wasn't needed: http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/297810/Just-where-does-all-your-tax-go

However with that being said, I wouldn't say that the money was being spent as -efficiently- as possible in certain areas.

Concerning the lot F-2

We are displeased that our gracious offer to sell this lot for a fixed price of 50 million moneritos was rejected by a citizen. Since the lot is already zoned very favorably (possible to build to every edge and no facade requirements whatsoever), and the King's word remains, we now find it adequate to offer this lot for anyone to buy at the price mentioned. The first one, that is.

Our Majestic Wisdom is that the value of the gold in the game is 46 billion moneritos, 1000 times more. The gold is a fungible and ever-inflating resource. The number of quadrats that are facing the Royal Palace over the Central Square, however, is eternally fixed to 7. Of these, 1 is occupied by road, 1 by church, and 2 by the proposed Town Hall or other public building. This leaves, in total, 3 quadrats in this precious location, of which 2 belong to the same lot to the west from lot F-2. So this lot is one of the 2 private lots facing the Royal Palace!

I will happily purchase this lot for 50 million moneritos, I will need to fund my account as soon as possible.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 25, 2014, 08:50:52 AM
Theoretically this could be a double bottom for both BTC and XMR at the same time.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 23, 2014, 10:28:18 PM
The bounce is looking very healthy and should hopefully show the market putting in a reasonable long term bottom given the increase in buyers.

That being said it's going to take months for the crypto kingdom game to start effecting the market as its only at the phase where the XMR whales are buying CKG at the moment with their hoards.

Nice work on the wiki, are you planning to convert Ristos original google document on the inner workings of it to the wiki as well?

CKG has drastically shot up in price in the short space of time that its been around. Nearly 800 views for this thread even though its only been up for 2 days shows there is a huge market.

I'd venture that most people who make up the $4,000,000 market cap of XMR at the moment will eventually hear about this if they haven't already.
