21  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS][EU] Antminer S3+ and 450w PSU. on: September 12, 2021, 04:09:29 PM
Hey everyone.

I am looking to sell this Antminer S3+ and a 450w PSU.
It has not been used much, mostly for testing and mining as a hobby.

It is located in Denmark, ill ship it to anywhere within the EU.
Buyer pays for shipping.

Open to offers.

As 99.99% of you know, this is not a profitable miner.
It belongs in a museum or mining tiny coins for fun.

Send me a message or post below.

Payment accepted in any crypto listed on Binance.

I guess asking questions regarding the usecase of the project and such is frowned upon.

It got me banned from their Discord.
Just another clone with no plans.
(Not that I expected anything else really)

Always stay away from closed source projects!

27  Economy / Auctions / Re: Selling 5000 YOVI at highest bid (worth 158 BTC) on: February 12, 2021, 12:13:47 PM
Any reason why you dont sell the coins off and just withdraw the coins?

Seems like an easy scam for a newbie to fall into.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: PennyCrypto, a subreddit for low cost coins. on: February 02, 2021, 11:03:33 AM
you shouldnt link to www.reddit when old.reddit so much better Cheesy

Also theres alot of subs for altcoins like related to wallstreetbets.

What do you think of KoinOS and Banano? I check out 100s of coins and these are the ones I found to go x100 this year

Interesting, well. I mainly use the new reddit.

But feel free to create discussions about those projects on the subreddit Cheesy

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / PennyCrypto, a subreddit for low cost coins. on: February 01, 2021, 03:27:25 PM
Hey everyone,

A lot of you might have seen the shenanigans with r/WallStreetBets playing with Gamestop, AMC and some other stocks.
From that, a new influx of users to the crypto world has been created, as a lot of these new investors were introduced to the Dogecoin subreddit.

From the recent hype, a lot of new users have started to look into both penny stocks and low-value cryptocurrencies.

For that reason, I made r/PennyCrypto.
https://www.reddit.com/r/PennyCrypto/

Its a subreddit dedicated to cryptocurrency valued at $1 or less per coin.
This of course does not account for the total market cap of the project.

Any feedback is appreciated.

31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin cant sync, help! on: January 29, 2021, 03:30:48 PM
I admit defeat.

I found https://my.dogechain.info/ where I could add my private key to, and send my doge.

Seems to work fine.

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: January 29, 2021, 02:26:14 PM
I am trying to sync my wallet as well, but nothing is happening.
Getting 1 block from the network every 5 min.

Its insanely slow.

Gamer PC, Fiber connection, no bottlenecks on my end.

Any recommendations?

Unless you get a good node/peer it's gonna take at least a week to sync if it's a new wallet.

Jesus, that sounds insane.

Can someone share some "good" nodes?

My bet is Reef, their proposal for their system and the potential it offers..

I think it could go to a couple of dollars with ease, but the team has to deliver first.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Dogecoin cant sync, help! on: January 29, 2021, 12:33:17 PM
Hi everyone.

I am trying to move my dogecoin, but my wallet just doesnt sync.
I have tried everything when it comes to adding a bootstrap (put me 15% forward).
Adding nodes and such.

I even tried to get Multidoge so I could set that up and import my wallet onto that one instead.
But nothing seems to be working, as its own sync mechanism is doing like 1 block every 1 min.
And I have 500/500 Fiber and a nice gaming computer, so that should not be the bottleneck.

Does anyone have some tips or suggestions to how I can sync or in other ways move my coins?

Thank you! Cheesy

37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Blockchain Bootstrap? on: January 27, 2021, 01:05:22 PM
Thanks, that is an interesting point to remember.
I guess ill bite the sour apple and wait for the wallet to sync by itself.
But I really hope BTC doesn't decide to take another dive.

38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Blockchain Bootstrap? on: January 27, 2021, 12:49:37 PM
Hey everyone.

So, I got lucky and found an old wallet.dat file with 650$ worth of Bitcoin in.
But, I haven't played much around with moving coins to different wallets.

So I thought I would just setup a full node and move the coins that way.
And yeah, I'm aware Bitcoin is sitting on the other side of 400GB.
But my question is, downloading the blockchain using the built-in sync seems to be extremely slow.

Is there a trusted source for downloading most of the blockchain?
Potentially via torrenting?

I started at around 10 pm last night, and right now, around 16 hours later, I'm at 48.71%.
Thursday, February 1st, 09:57 am to be precise.

And if I am lucky, I will have the remaining DB in 2 days.
Download speed isn't an issue.

Have an awesome day Tongue

Still looking for miners! Cheesy
40  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB FPGA/ Small ASIC miners. EU on: January 17, 2021, 02:22:04 PM
Hi,

Like the title says.

I am looking for small ASICs or FPGA miners.

Mainly I am looking for Baikal and other FPGA miners.
But ASICs are OK as well.

Low budget, so I am not looking for the new and best, but just something to play with.

Please leave a comment or send me a message! Smiley
You might have something I find interesting and want to play with!

I also have an Antminer 3+ with a PSU I could trade with Smiley
(PSU worth more than the miner xD)

Let me know if you guys have any questions.

Have a nice day.

Regards,

Hamuki
