It has not been used much, mostly for testing and mining as a hobby.

I check out 100s of coins and these are the ones I found to go x100 this year Interesting, well. I mainly use the new reddit. Hey everyone, A lot of you might have seen the shenanigans with r/WallStreetBets playing with Gamestop, AMC and some other stocks. From that, a new influx of users to the crypto world has been created, as a lot of these new investors were introduced to the Dogecoin subreddit. From the recent hype, a lot of new users have started to look into both penny stocks and low-value cryptocurrencies. For that reason, I made r/PennyCrypto. https://www.reddit.com/r/PennyCrypto/Its a subreddit dedicated to cryptocurrency valued at $1 or less per coin. I am trying to sync my wallet as well, but nothing is happening.
Getting 1 block from the network every 5 min.
Its insanely slow.
Gamer PC, Fiber connection, no bottlenecks on my end.
Any recommendations?
Unless you get a good node/peer it's gonna take at least a week to sync if it's a new wallet. Jesus, that sounds insane. Can someone share some "good" nodes? |

Hi everyone. I am trying to move my dogecoin, but my wallet just doesnt sync. I have tried everything when it comes to adding a bootstrap (put me 15% forward). Adding nodes and such. I even tried to get Multidoge so I could set that up and import my wallet onto that one instead. But nothing seems to be working, as its own sync mechanism is doing like 1 block every 1 min. And I have 500/500 Fiber and a nice gaming computer, so that should not be the bottleneck. Does anyone have some tips or suggestions to how I can sync or in other ways move my coins? Thanks, that is an interesting point to remember.
I guess ill bite the sour apple and wait for the wallet to sync by itself.
But I really hope BTC doesn't decide to take another dive.

Hey everyone. So, I got lucky and found an old wallet.dat file with 650$ worth of Bitcoin in. But, I haven't played much around with moving coins to different wallets. So I thought I would just setup a full node and move the coins that way. And yeah, I'm aware Bitcoin is sitting on the other side of 400GB. But my question is, downloading the blockchain using the built-in sync seems to be extremely slow. Is there a trusted source for downloading most of the blockchain? Potentially via torrenting? I started at around 10 pm last night, and right now, around 16 hours later, I'm at 48.71%. Thursday, February 1st, 09:57 am to be precise. And if I am lucky, I will have the remaining DB in 2 days. Hi, Like the title says. I am looking for small ASICs or FPGA miners. Mainly I am looking for Baikal and other FPGA miners. But ASICs are OK as well. Low budget, so I am not looking for the new and best, but just something to play with. Please leave a comment or send me a message! You might have something I find interesting and want to play with!
