28  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Debian wine and wallets on: October 11, 2017, 12:15:52 PM
Solution seems to be to use wine 1.8 or later (wine seem to have added extra stuff like .net framework)

Sadly this is going to happen Alot I'm stuck at 3 days just waiting for it to time out. Pools and bitcoin need to get there act together and increase the size limit to each block soon or bitcoin is going to hit a wall. Look on blockchain.info and you will see nearly ever blocks is getting maxed out

33  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: full node on: June 19, 2016, 07:07:17 PM
It takes a long time to sync it initially. At 1 day per week, it would take you months to sync it in the first place Tongue That is, if you ever catch up. You wouldn't really be running a full node anyways. It's probably best if you do not bother with full verification.

I'd say its probably better if he dosnt bother, the amount he will be taking off the network will be more than he gives back so its just bogging down the big nodes and taking up 8 spaces on the network
34  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I access a BTC core account threw a browser on: June 19, 2016, 07:02:12 PM
I do have 2 wallets actually but im only using one
not all that much money there at the moment $300-400
just feels risky to have it all locked up on a VPS

If the wallet is encrypted you could use a sync software and link it to your computer or to a cloud storage, It risks a bit of security but if you wallets encrypted then it's worth it to have a clone that's always synced, I do it across 3 computers all 3 are perfect clones
35  Economy / Services / Re: Need photo of iPhone 6 on: March 19, 2016, 07:21:54 PM
Any one buying an iPhone based on just a picture and no proof shouldn't have any money or an iPhone. There are certain times stupid people need to be taught lessons.

That said if you have an iPhone your not that smart to start with (just saying iPhone 5 cost £46 to build)

39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoins missing on: October 17, 2015, 03:04:36 AM
If the seed was created before your address with the bitcoin then try to add a new address see if its one that was generated in your old wallet. If you don't get an old wallet address and you have no backups of your old bitcoin wallet the odds are small you can get you wallet back
