Plus Defcon, and the shoot dont forget, Im pumped for it!

Sweet! yea, my kid will be selling bullets for Bitcoins and I'll be in an orange vest. Look me up!

Theres no chance I could fly an RC plane and people shoot at it is there ?

I seriously doubt it..   but thought I would ask..

For the average Nevadan shooter it would be over before it would be fun.
26  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My mtgox account got compromised, what can I do? on: June 01, 2012, 04:20:45 AM
I have submitted a request to mtgox but considering how nothing can be done based on mtgox_dylan's comments and I am now out $599, I highly doubt I want to try and recover an account that was comprised... if anything I'd just open a new one but with this experience I highly doubt I will ever touch mtgox again. I am just completely devastated.

I've been ripped off similar amounts, these things happen and it is best to not dwell on it to much.  I would suggest adding two factor authentication to all the services you intend to have access to your account information including the mtgox yubikey which would of saved you in this situation.

29  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Something better than Operation Fabulous? on: May 30, 2012, 06:24:30 PM
It concerns your whole business, or soon-to-be-lack thereof, because of an impending scammer investigation.

You didn't answer my question, how or why do allegations about me concern you personally?
They prevent me from even considering your platform as a way to promote anything.

Well since you realize that advertising services have to take strong measures to protect advertisers deposits from being wasted, maybe you can make a recommendation as to what I should do to sites that generate extremely high CTR on multiple banners spread through their website and have telltale signs of click fraud (and lets say there is other telltale signs such as a log with iPad clicks every 20 minutes with a matching browser version over a 48 hour period)?

For anyone taking Andrew Bitcoiner's rant seriously, you should take a look at this thread first before drawing your conclusions.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83328.0

Yes they should since that thread shows that there is nothing but serious FUD in that thread.  Why don't you pick on someone else?

As I mentioned elsewhere, I want to make sure publishers get the best partnering experience possible.  Also with regard to your comment on click fraud, I believe you are unfortunately formed that opinion by the trolls on the thread, there is no easy way to click fraud my service, we have various measure including limiting IP clicks and anti-proxy measures in place.  There is a lot of FUD and angst in this forum so read everyone's comments critically.

If you want to get rid of the trolls and FUD, you would actually start by addressing all points raised and not selectively ignoring the ones that don't suit your whims. Just because "that's the way google does it" doesn't mean fuck all for your tiny hole-in-the-wall business(es).

Thanks for your opinion but I am wondering why does this concern you?
32  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitcoinAdvertisers.com is a SCAM? on: May 28, 2012, 06:32:16 PM

Talk to them, settle it out, and end this.

I did that and it didn't work, what else do you suggest?

For a guy who's analyzing everyone's comments line-by-line, you just skipped over my post and commented on 1 line. Is that fair?

To answer your question - make it work - your not in high school Andrew this is the real world. We can't run away from our issues.

I replied back with what I had a question on, what's the problem with that?

This comment is effectively meaningless.

What I have seen so far.

1. One complains about being banned and losing earnings

My service is almost fully automated, if they would of earned anything they would of been paid.  They didn't lose any earnings since they were not earned.  The complainer also runs a competing ad service.

Quote
2. Owner being very cryptic about what the problem was. No clear answer.

Quote
This is a private matter not a public one.  As stated earlier we do not engage n dispute resolution in public forums since it is none of your armchair business.

Quote
3. One correctly claims that if the clicks were "bad" the profit should be returned to the advertiser instead of charity

In your opinion.

Quote
4. Owner doesn't have a clear stance to the: "If the clicks were not "bad" then no ban should have occured. If they were bad, then money should be returned to advertiser."
5. Owner draws our attention to the terms of service
6. Owner says "If you don't like the service, don't use it, very simple." effectively meaning OK you got me. Stop using it now you know and let me do the same to others

7. I'm quoting this from the terms "The Service may terminate your access to all or any part of the Website at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately." In my opinion cancelling a service without reason and keeping the earnings, is not at all a rational term.

Let me quote to you Google's Adsense Terms:

Quote
Program Participation. Participation in the Program is subject to Google’s prior approval and Your continued compliance with the Program Policies ("Program Policies"), located at https://www.google.com/adsense/policies, and/or such other URL as Google may provide from time to time. Google reserves the right to refuse participation to any applicant or participant at any time in its sole discretion.

As I stated earlier this policy is industry standard practice.

Quote
I find the owner's stance too negative and a bit suspicious. Same with the TOS. Although as far as I'm concerned the above are more than enough for me to stop using the service, I do hope this clears up, to protect others if the service is indeed fraudulent or clear the owner's name, if the service is logical and legitimate.

You allege to have used the service, since I do not have partners forum information it is just as likely you just made that up to spread more FUD.

36  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Proposal: A Second Chain for Scalability on: May 25, 2012, 06:08:52 PM
That's pretty interesting. One thing that I see is that you would have to have people mining all the chains though and each one would still be vulnerable to the 51% attack unless say they confirm a merkle hash of each block in each chain.

Next time, get a lawyer.
What am I saying. It should have been obvious that you didn't know what you were doing when you tried committing trademark infringement on Google.

You didn't answer the question so I will assume you are not a lawyer or have any idea what you are talking about.  If you don't like the service, don't use it, very simple.
Sorry, I was just about to respond to that. Give me a break.

For the benefit of those who were harmed by Andrew Bitcoiner, none of my information or advice constitutes legal advice. I'd advise getting a lawyer to discuss your legal options.

I second that, please have your lawyer contact me on http://www.bitcoinadvertisers.com/support.php
