DEVELOPMENT UPDATE Development BountyBenny has been working on bringing a trustless secure web wallet to the Ocupy platform. The copay codebase from Bitpay was chosen due to the development resources available to the project. There are many changes required to get Bitcore and insight working with a POS Bitcoin fork. We have Bitcore and Insight working with the Ocupy Blockchain and all functions of Copay are working except transactions. The Raw TX created by Copay cannot be sent or decoded by the Ocupy Wallet. OCUPY are offering a Bounty of 50,000 OCUPY Coin to the first person that gets copay working with the OCUPY daemon. https://bitbucket.org/ocupy/ocupy-public
https://github.com/bitpay/copay
We are still looking for someone to claim the bounty ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Please note the above bounty has been claimed! It is no longer available. Benny

Great, thanks for the speedy response Crypto privacy!! Besides yourself and ocupy, are there any other active devs on this project?
Welcome Clovis A We have two additional developers on the team that will remain anon, one is skilled in c++ and the other handles JS and UI stuff. But OCUPY's success will come from its marketing. We have two people working on marketing and promotion. One has great experience in internet marketing and promotion for tech start ups. We also have many service providers that we use as required. Our team is always expanding. If anyone thinks they can add value to our team, PM me. Count me in, fellas ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Join us on slack and we can talk further.

at these prices i'm going to stake for a bit, keep up the good work!
Thanks Ocupy is not going to explode onto the world stage overnight. But me and my team are prepared to do everything in our power. Ocupy has a complex marketing strategy that will be executed once Ocupy.net is ready to move from Beta to production.

It gets increasingly hard to find actual coins started for the right reasons with people who want to do the right thing for crypto in general. Most coins are now just jokes to make the dodgy "dev" money. Always nice to find something real and actually worth investing in, not just for my future but my sons, I dont think in 24hr profits hehe. Anything is possible in the future with real cryptocurrencys run by people doing it for the right reasons. I could be buying MS shares in the 80s here, who knows ; )
Exactly If OCUPY gets mainstream attention the platform alone will generate huge revenue from advertisements etc. The best part, some of this will be funnelled back to the devs and the community.

nice work! just found out about ocupy.
You may wish you didn't. I had a friend of mine help the devs in return for some payment. Weeks later still no payment has been made.. These guys are jokes. I'd stay away if I were you. If you want more info bud just PM me. If you are talking about the person I think you are. He did no work for us. There was talk of him joining the team and he suggested we create stickers and contacted coin telegraph on our behalf, thats it. No one on my team is PAID its up to them to accumulate coins. We are not in the business of not settling debts. We currently utilize many service providers that are all paid on time. What work was he not paid for?

Hmm...
The old wallet works fine. But 2.1.0.0 ? I can't compile it from this source, too many warnings, issues etc.
Yes, the old wallet works well. I'm not sure, but I think it is the Leveldb problem... To build the new wallet do the following: Download the zip file and unpack or clone ( yourUsername@host:~$ git clone https://bitbucket.org/ocupy/ocupy-public.git ) Terminal: yourUsername@host:~/ocupy-public/src$ chmod +x ./leveldb/build_detect_platform
yourUsername@host:~/ocupy-public/src/leveldb$ make libleveldb.a libmemenv.a
yourUsername@host:~/ocupy-public$ qmake
yourUsername@host:~/ocupy-public$ makeThis should work. Please give me a feedback... ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Our source code has been extensively tested and compiles without error if you have the correct dependency's and complete the pre compile tasks. Not for me. And I have installed all the dependencies. If you don't do that: yourUsername@host:~/ocupy-public/src$ chmod +x ./leveldb/build_detect_platform yourUsername@host:~/ocupy-public/src/leveldb$ make libleveldb.a libmemenv.a before qmake and make, the compilation terminates. But now is okay, it works. Thanks@Poly#Crypto Those are the pre compile tasks ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Bittrex is now on the correct chain.
Infinitechaos's coins that he sent from bittrex during the fork have appeared back in his wallet.
Follow the steps above and you will be on the correct chain.

The new wallet never makes it past "Initalising Tor Network..."
It just hangs and turns to not responding every single time.
Did you delete all of the files and folders in the application support folder except wallet.dat? every time PM Sent

I like you guys... Great community you got going on and the devs seem straight up. I think I may need to buy more.. Something tells me this price is about to fly.
When Bob appears on a threads it's time to leave. i was wondering if I was the only one thinking that Because someone posts on a thread you will turn your back on a project?

Bittrex have disabled their wallet until we find the route cause of this issue as a precautionary measure. Trading is still open.
The majority are on the correct chain. But some are on forks including Bittrex.
We will update everyone in the next 4Hrs.
Please feel free to PM me or join us on IRC.
