21  Economy / Economics / Re: How will a Greek exit from the Euro affect BTC? on: February 09, 2015, 07:11:30 PM
There are many countries that should never have been adopted into the European Union. Countries like Greece, Romania, Bulgaria and Poland were all fooled into thinking that in the EU would be better. In reality, the EU just uses them like slave labor, takes their resources and burdens them with restrictive laws and debts in the form of IMF loans. If Greece leaves they will be the lucky ones, but BTC will be unaffected.
22  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you a Bitcoin trader? on: February 07, 2015, 07:52:26 PM
Does it matter if you are a BTC trader or a consumer? Doesn't it all serve the same purpose? The perpetuation of BTC.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Margin Trading Killing Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2015, 06:40:03 PM
From reading this article I understand that as time passes, there will be less and less or an impact from margin traders.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: Greece could become crypto-land with a crowdsourced bailout. on: February 05, 2015, 02:33:10 PM
OROBTC

I understand your point, However, it does not make my idea impossible.

Tell me though, who could stop Russia from becoming an off-shore haven?

I have used Russian banks for years and I trust then. So do millions of others with big money.
25  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cheapest country in Europe to buy and own a car... on: February 04, 2015, 02:34:22 PM
I take it this topic is here because everyone is tired of talking about Bitcoin?

Oh well, when in Rome. I would choose Bulgaria, very cheap!
26  Economy / Economics / Re: EUR might drop below USD on: February 03, 2015, 01:35:38 PM
In this case Russia and the US have the same plan. Divide Europe! Look at how bad the European economy has gotten since they decided to follower Obama with sanctions. No Greece will separate and weaken the EU even more. Obama will implement his US/European free-trade agreement and possible merge the US dollar and Euro since they will be of equal value soon. Russia will continue doing business with european countries outside of the Trioka.
27  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NASA will pay you $18,000 to stay in bed for 70 straight days on: February 02, 2015, 09:41:09 PM
Its not such a good deal for your health. After 70 days of lying down your heart will be weak as a baby.
You will have gained a lot of weight. You will have bed sores. You will lose all muscle tone.

NO THANK YOU!
28  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Local BTC Exchange in St. Petersburg, FL area (WTB) USD for BTC on: February 01, 2015, 07:25:38 PM
Why are you limiting yourself to Florida? Go online and find an exchange, there are dozens of them!
29  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Man pepper sprayed for walking past police on: January 31, 2015, 06:07:36 PM
Hong Kong can do what they like, its not my business since I don't live there.

We should never fall into the trap of comparing US laws and practices with those in another country!

This is exactly how WOMDs are discovered in foreign countries.
30  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New police radars can 'see' inside homes on: January 30, 2015, 05:39:13 PM
Welcome to the future I guess. To bad we can only move towards the future and not return to the past.
I wouldn't mind returning to a more simpler time.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Not another is Bitcoin dead question?? BUT... on: January 29, 2015, 05:40:05 PM
I know Bitcoin is not a scam and will not disappear. Having said that the large price fluctuations are clearly manipulated by cyber attacks and negative media attention.
32  Other / Off-topic / Re: Age of bitcoin users. on: January 28, 2015, 09:08:25 AM
Bitcoin users are old enough to not fear something new and young enough not to be afraid. 38
33  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New police radars can 'see' inside homes on: January 27, 2015, 02:47:30 PM
This does not seem like a very healthy invention. I am curious, can this new device tell the police if the people inside the building
is black or white?
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is tax free! on: January 26, 2015, 07:05:40 PM
Tax-free is in the eye of the beholder of Bitcoins! Does the law really come into play here?
The wealthiest 50% certainly don't pay their share of taxes. Why should we be so concerned?
35  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you spending your Bitcoin? on: January 25, 2015, 09:29:23 AM
But, I don't think those in the screenshot are really loaded with 3000 btc.
Why no? This screenshot can be from 2010-2011.
Or anytime from 2009 -2013. But I don't think people were testing out things like these back then .

Back when 3k was nothing it was more of an experiment than anything anyone thought it would be

Hope that in this year the price will increase up to 500-700 USD.

39  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you spending your Bitcoin? on: January 18, 2015, 09:53:06 AM
I have been both spending bitcoins and earning them with my work.
I never traded on exchanges and never "invested" I never bought shitcoins; I received once some litecoins but I dropped them last summer, after realizing that they are useless as long as you have bitcoins.

And where are you working?)
But if you earning a bitcoin you must to exchange it? Or you spend them online? But unfortunately you cant buy all what you need by bitcoin... So you must exchange them?

Maybe he's referring to a different exchange. You know, altcoins to bitcoins and vice-versa.
No I never got any shitcoin, except, as I wrote, some litecoins once.
Since I am self-employed, sometimes I manage to get paid in bitcoins. I usually spend as much as I get, I don't think I have more than 10 BTC in my wallets.

But how you spend it?  you buy some food, wear?
40  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 20% OFF Everything! Bitcoin T Shirts, Hoodies, Hats & More (coupon inside) on: January 17, 2015, 08:41:24 PM
It look very nice, tell me please in which country you can ship your t-shirts?
I think they can ship to most countries.

I ordered 11 shirts from BitcoinTees in November and had them sent to South Korea. This user BitcoinTees was very helpful in guiding me through this difficult process.  He himself was nothing but helpful, but I had a terrible issue dealing with Spreadshirt. The shipping time for me was about 6 weeks. 4 weeks longer than expected. If you want bitcoin shirts and are not in  the US I would suggest printing them yourself.

Thanks! I will do it)
