21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Acorn M.2 FPGA based GPU Accelerator on: July 14, 2018, 01:00:32 AM
I placed two orders today. One this afternoon for the Acorn and one this evening for the Acorn Nest. The website was a little funky with formatting in Chrome and this afternoon it was a little slow with the flurry of activity, but both orders appeared to go through just fine and no issues with payments.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: June 10, 2018, 03:50:31 AM
Any others have issues with the dashboard or miner screen not updating with the latest version?

For me the stats never change, including showing miners as off-line.

Thanks!
If you still experience this issue - could you send me the Awesome Miner log files (toolbar: Tools -> Log File) and a screenshot to me? Preferably via mail. Thanks!

No worries now. The issue is resolved and has not occurred for the last 36 hours.

Thanks for the response and support!

I will watch with interest for more info. Survey completed.

A question, I have mostly Nvidia cards, but can AMD RX480 cards also benefit?

I ordered some fans from Mouser electronics. $8 bucks each. I am pretty sure these will work, but I have not tried yet. They arrive today and I will install over the weekend.

@ phillipma, try adding the "." (period) at the beginning of the command line.

This was bound to happen eventually. I thought the devs could change the code so that any asics produced are no longer effective. True?

I use Minera @ getminera.com

Works well on a Raspberry Pi.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Has Litecoinpool been "having issues" the past two days, or has my L3+? on: January 15, 2018, 07:14:30 PM
My recent daily production for a single L3+ is around .062 to .068 per day @ litecointpool.org.

Hopefully that helps.

Can someone try to Display a chart under Tools \ Performance History and post whether it works or not. Export to CSV does work, but not charts (for me). Mine has not worked for the last two versions. Not sure when it stopped working for me.

Thanks!

33  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: antminer S9 using EVGA 166G2 burnt, what's the reason ? on: November 06, 2017, 02:25:17 AM
I had the same problem with my S9. Now hashing on the two remaining boards with a different power supply and cables.

So, a question. Is it possible the board with burnt connectors can be repaired?

Thanks!

As I see it, someone will take a chance and will order these, demo units or not.

If it is real, and performs close to what is advertised, they will sell as many as they can produce.

We do not know what the interest level is other than those who post here and are skeptical (count me among those). You may also count me among those that will kick myself for not taking a chance if it does in fact play out.

I will wait and see Smiley

38  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: my long story with Bitmain and bitmainwarranty and S9 on: June 30, 2017, 05:07:57 PM
So a question on how to setup a repair with Bitmain Warranty. I created an account and opened a ticket requesting a repair on my R4 but I have not received a response and it has been over a week now. Is there an email address to contact them and should I try via that method?

The unit is still under the 180 day warranty, but I understand that this will most likely be a paid repair. If a warranty repair is an option then I only have two more weeks before 180 days is up.

Currently running on a single board at half the hash rate.

Thanks for any help that can be offered.

was this an R4? because this appears to be the EXACT same things to is going on to me? how is it a paid repair if there is warranty?

As I understand it, Bitmain Warranty is not affiliated with Bitmain. My options are to ship to China for approx. $300 and a two month wait to have the unit repaired under warranty (or be told it cannot be repaired and argue the point), or send to Colorado for a  2 to 3 week turn around and repair at my expense. $25 shipping each way, and $125 to $200 for repair. Comes up less out of pocket and faster back into service.

Not really happy with that as options, but I knew this prior to purchase and I made the decision to purchase anyway. I cannot fault Bitmain for my decision to purchase their product knowing the the warranty they offer is null and void (to me).

Thanks!

My issues is they want $600 to repair one of the blades on an r4. And its STILL in Warranty. And its ONLY caught on fire after I did the Ant-bleed update. Literally the next morning it was on fire.

Your best option might be to continue discussions with Bitmain China.

My R4 is under warranty as well, but the cheaper and faster option for me is a paid repair through Bitmain Warranty. If I am not mistaken, they are changing their name to reduce confusion in the future.
