21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you start crypto gambling? on: June 03, 2019, 05:35:13 AM
We all started as kids lol.
I remembered when I was a kid Cheesy. We usually use bottle caps to gamble. Funny I think but it is true and since we are kids at that time, as long as we are happy then its ok.

I think that is the first time that I gambled but in terms of crypto gambling, I just started last year when I tried to gamble in sports. I stopped it right now because of financial problems.
Do you know if you attach a sought of prestige with something due to its unique shape or maybe scarcity, you actually create a value for that thing. In the past, cigarettes were used as medium of exchange in some prison in Europe I think. So yeah, using bottle caps is one of these things in gambling at local level. I started gambling about six months ago.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HOW I BECAME A GAMBLER on: June 01, 2019, 05:54:15 AM
everythings starts from one bet. and then you continue to make bets because you understand that it's really interesting to watch match where you have placed a bet.

This happens more with sports betting and I can bet almost all sport gamblers started this way. It’s not their fault anyway, sports can be super-duper interesting and we would realize in the end that no money spent in it is ever a waste.

I had my first sport bet when I first went to a viewing center to watch a champions league match, that was back in the year 2014, and I had the bet in favor of my team, even though I lost that match that day, I will confess that it was so interesting, ever since then I never stopped betting before I now got to know of the casinos online that are specialized in sports betting.
23  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you secretive about trading currency? on: June 01, 2019, 05:22:06 AM
Why to be secretive about cryptocurrency you trade with? Its good for everyone if more people join and when volume is rising. I trade longterm with bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, iota, and many others. Longterm gives me enough free space for maneuvering, you need that free space for that kind of trading with so many coins. I think just some whales are secret about their trading cause they are moving big amounts, and probably they dont wish everybody to know their actions, all others are very opened and share their trading experience with others.

Really, what is the reason to hide the cryptocurrency you are dealing with and trading? It seems to me that you should even promote it, so that more people will support the altcoin, and it will gain more popularity.
Exactly, we need to promote the cryptocurrency and its use towards the whole world. So there is no point to keep the crypto and its related activities secretive. I have been in crypto for a long time and I have been started promoting the cryptocurrency since the day I started my journey. Because there are many countries in the world who think cryptocurrency is only using for buying drugs and money laundering and that's why they are consistently taking massive actions against it. Therefore it's become necessary to promote the crypto towards the people and teach them about the cryptocurrency and its best possible uses to make their life more profitable and digital.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs gonna phase out very soon? on: May 31, 2019, 06:44:08 AM
I have been playing into some few ICO projects lately, and the reality is that I lost a lot of money due to the domination of the bear market and uncertainty of the projects going forward.

As the old saying goes, more than 90% of those projects are either scams, failed to reach soft cap, or not getting any traction in the next few months or so.

Maybe it’s because ICOs are not regulated and investors like me holds all of the risks.

Until now, there are still new ICOs emerging. However, there are also new ones such as STOs (security token offerings), IEOs (initial exchange offerings), and so on. It seems that both STOs and IEOs are already being considered the next big thing in raising crypto funds for starters.

With their ongoing emergence, are ICOs gonna be over soon? Are they gonna saturate and may phase out due to projects turning to STOs and IEOs?

I wanna know about your thoughts regarding this one, and I would greatly appreciate it whether if you agree or not with my opinion. Thank you in advance.
I don't think ICO is going to phase out completely in the crypto space, because not all startups would be able to afford the funds for listing their coin for IEO, and we would still keep seeing people investing in ICO especially newbies who don't really know what is going on in the space and just want to make free money for themselves, though ICO will not be popular as it used to be in time past, since most investors would have moved to a more better way of crowdfunding such as IEO and STOs.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE COIN is it worth investing in it or should i look for another ALT coin? on: May 31, 2019, 06:22:05 AM
I see it go up and down every day so I'm confused!
Well it's the crypto market and you must see it go up and down, so I don't really know why you are surprised about the price of a coin going up and down when it's not a stable coin, it is being traded every second and nothing can stop that unless everyone lose interest in the coin, but I don't think that would ever be possible for dogecoin since it's one of the coin that have been existing for a very long time now, I think you need to study how the market works so that this kind of things is not going move you anymore.
26  Economy / Gambling / Re: BestBitcoinSlots.com | Free Games, Casino Reviews, & Slot Community News on: May 31, 2019, 05:58:57 AM
This site looks interesting and helpful at the same time.
I have been looking for legit reviews about gambling sites.
How will you guarantee that you'll provide reliable and legit information? I want to hear about it. All of us here are looking for transparency and assurance.

Genemind, thanks for asking. Our new approach to reviewing betting sites is informative. We use this approach mostly in instances when we were not able to gather enough feedback from real players of the casino we review. Here, the main goal is just to give the basic info about the casino including, but not limited to, its licenses, currencies accepted, payment/withdrawal methods, contact details, country restrictions, bonuses given, and games offered.

But when we get enough feedback and review from players of the casino, we include these in our bases for writing whether or not the casino is worth recommending or not.

The team behind the project is working so hard on a project, they are actively handling the project since the day they started working here. The team consistently providing every single update regarding the upcoming events, that's why the community and users always get up to date about the project. As well the team has been providing answers to those questions which has been raised by investors, community and, users.

So they work really well at the moment and going as per their strategic. A most important factor about the project is they came with review systems where you can get the opportunity to know the genuine reviews about any specific betting site. So with the help of the review system, you can choose the best gambling site.
27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Protect yourself from Excitement and keep your Winnings Safe on: May 31, 2019, 04:56:14 AM
Lol,  all these just for preventing yourself romance further losses while playing in casinos? There's no need for all that,  just stop being stupid and greedy and that's all. I know a lot of people who are very stupid when it comes to gambling. Whenever they start to gamble they lose their mind and start acting like fools,  even when they are losing they are still gambling and losing more money more than they started with.

I don't take such risks,  whenever I'm gambling I don't get addicted with it,  I'm never addicted to it.  This is something I do for fun, so I don't let it take control over me rather I control it. I know when to stop and when to continue. If the day seems like a bad day, I don't go on to keep on trying my luck, I just stop it there and take what I've got.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scroda solves the puzzle to concept zero-confirmation transactions. on: May 30, 2019, 07:38:01 AM
Bitcoin, created to disrupt the banking industry has been faced with scaling issues sinces it’s creation. Temporary solutions such as the lighting network have surfaced to provide instant like transactions to be used for micro-transactions as it is not truly secure. Leaving a need for large transactions and micro-transactions alike to be conducted in an instant like manner while being secure. Scroda being fully aware of the problem affecting all cryptocurrency users who have decided to unbank their wallets, has found the solution to implement zero-confirmation transactions through the use of relay chains.

Scaling issues present in Bitcoin

With Bitcoin only processing an average of 8 transactions per second, a major obstacle preventing it from becoming mainstream for daily consumer use. In which stands true for the majority of blockchains when processing transactions on-chain.  Due to such congestions huge drawbacks are seen such as an increase in transaction fees and a long processing time are seen when transacting with Bitcoin.

Flaws found in temporary solution such as the Lighting Network

One Alternative that has been proposed is the Lighting Network in which works as a second layer on top of Bitcoin, where transactions are processed off-chain. When conducting transactions off-chain one moves from being able to conduct trustless transactions on-chain to conducting trusted transactions off-chain as one would have to trust that both parties agree to each condition accordingly, or that both parties stay online during the transactions as one party could run off with the funds of the disconnected user who is now not able to communicate or agree to any transactions. Due to such concerns users who transact on Lighting Networks only conduct micro transactions to minimize the amount of funds they risk of being stolen.

Why Zero-Confirmation Transactions weren’t achievable

Bitcoin was designed since conception to reach consensus on a block to block. Miners utilize a protocol known as Proof of Work in which the winning miner is chosen to upload their block. A downside being is that every miner on the network constructs a unique block with transactions that they choose to include, thus leaving the network open to many attacks vectors such as stealth mining and reversal of transactions through a 51% attack.

Bringing Zero-Confirmation Transactions to life through Relay Chains

Scroda has solved the solution to bring instant-like transactions on-chain with security still in mind. Having taking note of the risk associated with verifying transactions on a block to block basis, Scroda decided to take use of relay-chains in order to verify transactions on a transaction to transaction basis. In doing so consensus on the blockchain is able to be reached before a block is uploaded. Ensuring that each transaction broadcasted to the network and that is true will have the guarantee of being uploaded to the blockchain. From having such security in place a receiver can be assured that they will rightfully receive the funds sent to them before the transaction has been permanently placed on a block in which is to reside on the main-chain.

Many benefits are obtained for confirming transactions on a transaction to transaction basis such as the reversal of transactions through a 51% attack.

Making cryptocurrency mainstream through zero-confirmation transactions

Due to the ease and security provided by zero-confirmation transactions, users would be able to see cryptocurrency become mainstream in daily consumer use. Users would be able to securely purchase items such as a TV, Furniture, Computer, Diapers, Cribs and more in the time it takes to complete a handshake. Giving benefits to instant-like transactions to both micro and large payments.

Please let us know your thoughts below! Would you conduct a large transaction on a lighting network?

Did they solve the problem or they are trying to solve the problem, because a project like this should be known all over the crypto space if they really solves it, but the truth is that I am just hearing of it for the first time today, well if they have solved the problem already, why not send us a link directly to their platform so that we could check it out for ourselves or better still, send us a link to their ANN thread in this forum so we can see other users review.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Ethereum Classic on: May 30, 2019, 07:10:16 AM
Hi!
I read the article about the forecast of the Ethereum Classic price: art
What do you think is the future of ETC?
Should I buy it now?
Well I don't think ethereum classic is going anywhere anytime soon because I have not heard about something reasonable happening in their blockchain, like an upgrade or whatsoever, though if they try to run an upgrade, they might just be able to drag the attention of investors towards the coin since it has been existing for quite a while now, so let's just hold on and see what happens in the future, though I would advise that it's best we focus on the once working for now than on coins we can't tell what will come of the in the future.
30  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good trading strategy for newcommer? on: May 30, 2019, 06:18:53 AM
I recommend to put the percentage of profit in the area of 30% and download a mobile application of the top exchanges, where you can put yourself a notification of the achievements of a certain price, the market is not yet growing very rapidly and there are opportunities for shorts
Idea is not bad but the crypto price movement especially that of the Bitcoin is following increase trend and it seems to be happening rocketing blast in the near future. Better traders start investing in the coins right now so as to make a better collection. With this much additional quantity they would be able to have a great profit after the price pumps. New traders should always learn rather than doing more in crypto trade.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alternatives to erc20 tokens with a transaction cost on: May 29, 2019, 08:28:38 AM
Is there any alternatives to erc20 tokens?
That have a very low or no transaction cost on another blockchain?

We are thinking mainly for the use case of tokenizing services.
Well there are many platform out there that allows tokenization on their blockchain, you can start out by checking waves platform, though I don't really like making use of waves platform for tokenization because it is not so popular and a lot of persons might not participate if you are trying on conducting an ICO, you can also check out the EOS blockchain, it is also a very good one and you might like to make use of it.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB overtake ETH? POLL on: May 29, 2019, 07:06:08 AM
Actually I believe it BNB will never overtake ETH, because Ethereum market situation always good one. This is very demanding and smart currency, Where the details of a larger market volume. You can check coinmarketcap Ethereum always have been second position in the market value mate.
Looking at the progress of BNB and the crazy pace of its growth, I cannot deny that it is going to the best coins in days to come. But if you compare it with ETH, I doubt it will give ETH a tough time because ETH has gotten a great market cap and it has been in wide use by many governments around the world for several purposes among which, transparency is one.
33  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? Important Weekly close! on: May 29, 2019, 06:46:56 AM
All are still speculations. Even experts make mistakes and anything like crashing again, can still happen in the market but I believe we are now in the bull market and any lows or crashing are in now bull's low.
That's also I believe that this month the bull run started. In the month of April since the bitcoin started increased I think it is only 50 chance but since I saw a lot of different changes to the value to the bitcoin which is increasing now Im sure we are in bull market.
We cannot force anyone to believe to the people who believe we are on bull run like us mayne once bitcoin up high again they will believe too instantly.
Of course it has been a bullish market since long. We are far and long out of the bear market for the current market has been very bullish and the gain in the market value of Bitcoin and other coins has been pretty good. Do not you see the rate of speculation and trading crypto in the market? I have seen many people in my friend circle who are putting in money in Bitcoin for the first time.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: May 29, 2019, 06:17:46 AM
Nothing in the market has changed. Just a new model for investing. I think until they eradicate fraudsters in the cryptocurrency world there will be many changes. But these are all derivatives of ICO.
ICOs were doing excellent work in the beginning in the crypto industry and still working but not excellent as before. The involvement of scammers in the ICO projects has reduced the interest of users in it. If users are not finding it well then ultimately they will refuse to invest in such projects. Now users are investing in new projects such as IEOs but still I suggest if you find the right ICOs then it is great.
35  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Has Been Hacked - Lost 7,074 BTC on: May 29, 2019, 05:43:32 AM
Of course, the burglary situation is extremely unpleasant, but I don’t like how many white spots remain on this story. For example, why have 80 stolen bitcoins returned to a hot money wallet?

No doubt on one side with the growth and enhancement of technologies and arrival of new innovations especially the currency modernism hackers are also catching fire on the other side. Hackers do not follow the rules whether it is a leading exchange or not, they did not even forgive Binance. But we should think how secure these exchanges are because the ratio of hacking is very small to its security.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin G. a scam? on: May 28, 2019, 08:21:16 AM
I came across this article this morning and I want everyone's input on this idea...

https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/is-bitcoin-gold-a-scam/

Is Bitcoin Gold a scam? Think about it...  Ever since the BTG Wallet scam happened I've been a little concerned that all of these "alternate bitcoins" were just trying to take advantage of people.

Idk... thoughts?
Well I don't think bitcoin gold actually scammed anyone, but I know that reason why people called it a scam, because what they just did was to create a fork from the Bitcoin blockchain in order to make a lot of money for themselves and abandon the project, they were not really concerned about what happened to the coin in the future, their main focus was just to make sure they get on the exchange and make a lot of money for themselves.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A New Bitcoin Rival Is Coming? on: May 28, 2019, 06:27:25 AM
There will never be any coin that will rival bitcoin ,its never going to happen ,Facebook is a very popular social media platform but that's it to it ,going for crypto is not a bad idea but that doesn't mean it will outperform bitcoin,I'm sure it will help crypto get more popular but that's all there is
Right perception about the Bitcoin is that if the Bitcoin’s demand goes down and those of any other coin outperforms the Bitcoin then consider the crypto will never exist. The crypto market is all about the Bitcoin and if it is going to die only the Bitcoin can do it because crypto appeared when Bitcoin born. Facebook will no doubt achieve high rating after they are done with coin announcement but not more than Bitcoin.
38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best way for me to invest $700,000 into cryptos? on: May 28, 2019, 05:59:47 AM
It's funny to read few comments here, few of them is like teaching OP about basic knowledge trading. All you need to know is that OP wanted  to start Intra-day trading (find out about this one, I'm sure most of you in this thread didn't know what is about) which is not his expertise area. The reason why OP wanted to have a partner is because he wanted to focus on getting more clients.

It's okay to find few trading partners to manage trading activity but I can't find you one. I will just suggest you to be more careful, I'm sure you are not stupid but scammers can be always smarter than us.
Selection on the basis of loyalty and competency is very interesting. Even if you are not getting the growing market technicalities you can simply take consultation of experienced traders who are good at crypto trade. They will help you out in getting through the market that will result in not only profit but maximum productivity. It is excellent if trader is both loyal and competent but other than this prefer competency because loyalty factor can change anytime.
39  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] The BTC Dominance Chart & How To Read It on: May 28, 2019, 04:57:35 AM
When the price of bitcoin is going up The price of ALTCOIN tends to drop, majority of the times, this happens. I think this is because people likes to buy bitcoin and sell their ALTCOIN whenever see the price of bitcoin going up. And once they see that bitcoin has started going down they will start to sell their bitcoin and start buying altcoins and that will make the price of altcoins to go up while that of bitcoin (BTC) continues to fall . There are times that BTC can go up along with altcoins, but this can only be true for the top of the list altcoins like XRP, ETH, stellar, BCH and others. But the smaller ones will keep dying as these goes up cause they are getting dumped by traders.
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A shocking truth! on: May 27, 2019, 10:47:47 AM
Even though I haven't experienced many parabolic sessions of the crypto market, my little observations I made in the immediate past one is that, we're all likely to miss the boat of the next run again. Especially if you're not holding much coins already. I'm saying so because the bull run/market comes like a snake attack- subtle, tactical, unexpected and quiet and by the time we realize, we're already at the top again.

I quite remember telling a few friends to buy BNB when it was around $20 buh they were saying it's high buh now look, it's even higher.

My advice: Stop thinking there's gonna be another last bottom (it's a 50/50 bet which can go either way), and just buy /invest into anything you think it's good to buy...Procrastination is a thief of money (crypto version Smiley)
One thing we need to learn in order to make profit in this crypto market is patience, without it we might miss out from all bull runs coming to the crypto space, I have been in the crypto world for sometime and have seen many thing happen over and over again, so I am not too bordered when I see some things, rather I love to take advantage of it and make profit for myself. There is no state of the crypto market that one can't make profit, just know how to play your cards right and you will see great results.
