How would I go about splitting hash to different pools with each sp20?
edit: For example, if I have 1300gh total, would it be possible to send 300 to one pool, and the other 1000 to a different pool?

I have password set to P=0.0139, however my sp20's are still mining at Westhash even though the price states:
Algorithm Port Current Speed Currently Paying 24h Payouts
SHA256 3334 859.6464 TH/s 0.0098 BTC/TH/Day 4% 0.0101 BTC/TH/Day
Shouldn't my miners shift to the next available pool in the list?
Use lower case p and not P. Nice! That did it. Westhash now dead. Thank you. |

I updated the stratum url to stratum+tcp://stratum.westhash.com:3334#xnsub, and tried both with/without the flag setting to "2". Didn't work.
After reading a bit, looks like I have to update to cgminer 4.8 from 4.7. Not sure how to do that yet. Could use a little help there... After which I need to ssh into my miner to set the extranonce.
Sound correct?
Edit: Status on westhash is "dead".
After more reading, I discovered setting the flag to "2" and then rebooting solved the issue. Now on cgminer 4.8 and extranonce is turned on at Westhash. Nice! Thanks all!! |

I set Extranonce subscription to "2" (20minutes ago) on my sp20, but it doesn't show up on Westhash. Thoughts? Do i need more patience or is something not working correctly?
Your miner will appear in the list almost instantly you connect it (1 minute). If you don't see it, then it must be a problem on your side. It's in the list, but has a red X for extranonce even though I set extranonce to "2" for sp20 settings.  |

Hmmm...Came home to find both sp20's cycling and not connecting to pools. What's the best procedure to fix? I restarted both but still not connecting.  Internet must have went down. Odd because it appeared to be up. Restarted modem and router. All good now. |

Running solid for couple days. Pulling 795w (kill a watt) = .5794.
Do these run better, more efficient, if the chips are colder? Say 85c vs 110c.
Not sure if your fan is set to "auto" or not? The reason I say this is because I see your fan speed is at "10." This is a big part of the reason your ASIC's are pretty damn hot on some boards. I prefer "longevity" of the unit versus "working the hard" at high temps. I prefer higher fan speed to keep them cooler. Yes, it is less power efficient if you wish to maintain your present hash rate with a higher fan speed. However, it increases the life of your ASIC's. This is my opinion. If you insist on having a higher hash rate while taking care of your rigs, consider a higher fan speed while sacrificing power efficiency. I clocked one of mine to a similar hash rate as yours but with higher fan speed to show you the temps and power consumption. The present power efficiency at these settings is .63 watts per GH/s. Understood. Thanks for the opinion. Is 100-105c acceptable? I'm balancing fan noise with longevity with hash rate with wattage. |

Seems like westhash/nicehash don't get used with price set to p=0.013 ?
Correct. Because Nicehash is currently at 0.0106 BTC/TH/Day. If you want to use Nicehash, you have to set it lower. Or remove the "p=0.013".  |

Did anyone ever try to underclock the SP20. Im starting to look at that for the winter.
What is the lower volt that the chip can take ?
Is 1th the minimum or we could go below and get less heat?
You can go below that, due to heat, noise and electricity costs during the day I underclock mine to around 900GH/s Note: I underclock 5 of my 8 SP20s using these exact settings and the hash rates vary wildly by box, the low is 890GH/sec and the high is 980GH/sec Here are the settings I use:  Its pulling 505 watts at the wall with these settings (using a kill-a-watt) and there's very little heat. Is extranonce=2 because of nicehash/westhash? |
