Yes. I'm not a fan of the Monaco grand prix - the most exciting part is the qualifying, which goes a long way to determining the race winner. The race itself is just a parade with no overtaking; barring mishaps, the only real chance to change positions is generally at the pit stop. The race itself isn't that great but it's great to see a race within a city like monaco. Now the weather forecast is a rainy day Sunday so let's and hope it doesn't chance anymore. |

Again this year a double race at the RedBull Ring in Austria, in Formula 1 and in Moto GP. The RedBull Ring has always been a very good track for Ducati, and the Ducati riders could score many important points there. At Formula 1 i see a light advantage by Mercedes with the better power unit.
These first races showed that there is not that much difference between Mercedes and RedBull but there is between Lewis Hamilton and the other drivers as is him that is making a difference.This weekend we have Monaco Gp which in theory is a boring one but just some rain and it makes it extremely interesting. A rain race in Monaco would be very great otherwise we would just see a parade with just a few overtakes. Let's see if Red Bull don't release Verstappen too soon after a pitstop. After yesterday's matches we know that ADO Den Haag and VVV will degrade to the Eerste Divisie. Gladly FC Emmen still have a chance to stay in. FC Emmen deserves it more then the other two teams. The matches of ADO en VVV were really bad this season.

Ajax is checking if they can buy Brobbey back from Leipzog. They sold Brobbey a few months ago and he would start there after this season but they current trainer of Leipzig left.
He was the one who wanted Brobbey and now he is gone he might stay at Ajax if that's possible. Would be great news for Ajax.
I don't know why they let him go this easy in the first place.  He is a talented striker and he was even sold for free to Leipzig. It was a so wrong move. Maybe they can benefit from this opportunity and bring him back. Otherwise, they could really regret for selling him in the future. Well Brobbey didn't want to sign a new contract at Ajax so he walked away for free. In the last European matches he was one of the most important player at Ajax. I do believe that if Verstappen went for a pit on right after Hamilton, he would have a chance to win. I am not saying that he would win very easily, all I am saying is that he would probably have enough time to either go out at first once again, which could be a problem and Hamilton could have been first and after that it is a difficult task to catch up to him but at least you have a chance with a DRS window maybe (albeit spain is a difficult track to pass anyone, let alone Hamilton) but at least you had a chance.
This way it was always obvious that he would have slowed down, Hamilton had a great run and kept increasing his speed time and time after again and again which is a great thing but the main problem was Max couldn't go, his tireware was just way too much, if he pitted even a few laps after Hamilton he would have at least be second again but have a chance.
Yeah, Redbull's pit strategy was so wrong. They could have done that. Or when there were 15-16 laps to go, Verstappen could go for a pit and the team could mount fresh softs. I believe that he could catch up with Hamilton like that. But there was no guarantee for Verstappen to overtake him in both cases of course. But it would be worth trying. It was worth the try, better then just losing time every round and pit for softs at the end of the race. Verstappen's pace at the end was very well so if he could do that for many more laps he maybe could had come closer. A win was too much then but now he was just driving around and losing time every round. |

Even though Ajax guaranteed to become champion they beat Feyenoord with 3 goals in away game. It was one of the most interesting games lately. Feyenoord scored two goals in their own goal. Ajax played whole half one man missing, Feyenoord missed a penalty. We saw everything in this match. Wish I played for red card and penalty bets too.  It was a great match to see but Feyenoord was very very unlucky. If they scored that penalty we should see a complete different second half. I guess the most of us could have been richting if we knew what would happen. I had also millions of Doge and a few BTC which I sold years ago. Now I could be millionaire but if thit while crypto thing failed I would be happy that I sold it on time.

Agree. This circuit could bring a show only with a safety car or drivers own mistakes as besides this , Barcelona never offered good shows even back in Schumacher era. I just checked the weather and they are almost zero chances to rain tomorrow but I would not count this just because a rain could always happen in Barcelona out of nowhere. Regarding the start , I think Max has the 1st chance as I've watched F3 today and the guy who was on 2nd had the 1st entry point to the first corner which is on the right so pretty much an advantage of Max doesn't screw his start. Verstappen needs a very good start and if he managed to pass Hamilton he got a chance to win it. Otherwise it would be another Hamilton 1 and Verstappen 2 if nothing weirda happen. |
