I would actually genuinely buy the 3 BTC Lulzsec bill if it were ever to be produced, even as a novelty! Good show!

That's really unfortunate, sorry for your troubles.  Sad
You should try not to keep so many BTC in the same place though, unless you're immediately going to execute a trade.. A bit late for that, I know, but don't let this one bad experience turn you off BTC completely. Keep an encrypted wallet file on a USB key, or encrypted with something like Kleopatra, and never keep all your BTC in the same wallet.
Hope you can get some sort of resolution with Mt. Gox though.

I've not used get-bitcoin, but they have a fairly good reputation here on the forums as far as I can tell.

Thanks for the reply, puts me at ease a little!  Smiley

Instead of bookmarking the new address as they advise you to do, I think it would be more secure to keep your Tor bookmarks in a text file that's encrypted with a GPG client. Much safer, especially if you don't want anyone knowing which sites you visit.

Hi all,

New Bitcoin user in Ireland here, just ordered a large amount of BTC through get-bitcoin, any other newbies used them before? Feeling a bit scared now in case I didn't do enough research.  Undecided Or are there any other BTC users from Ireland on this forum?

Good to meet y'all!  Smiley
