10-4, soy. I will post back if I have to try the reset.

I am moving my internet hard line into my home office tomorrow.
If I still can't locate the miner on 192.168.1.98 or 99 on my hardwired 192.168.1.1 router then I will reset.

I want to try to narrow this down before I re-boot the miner.

Thanks for all the replies!

Ahhh ... I was in the wrong forum earlier.

I have a miner that I cannot see on my network.

I see that I can use the reset button but it is a 90 second depression. Wow, no wonder it did't work for me.
After this reset, I will be able to access the miner at 192.168.1.99 ??

I tried to plug the miner direct to the primary router ... still couldn't see it.
Then hauled it back into the office and tried to connect it direct to PC. Still can't see it.

Turned off kaspersky and everything. The connection was showing as live, but could not gt miner GUI to come up. Always just a got a webpage not available error in browser.

I also tried to reset the miner by depressing the recessed button with a pen. I held it in for at least 10 seconds. Tried it a few times. Nothing ever happened.

Is the miner trash?

Does my miner (Ant C1) have to be connected to the same router as the primary WAN source?

My computer and miner are in my home office where the computer is connected to the internet wireless. The modem is in another room.
I tried to buy a network switch ... did not work. Tried to run PC and miner to switch and use wireless internet connect on PC. No dice. Couldn't see the miner.

Tried to use a second router and bridge the primary to it then connect the PC and miner to the slave .... did not work, still could not see miner.

It's been frustrating, and I thought I could accomplish this.

Miner is second hand. The guy I got it from set the IP address to 192.168.1.98 ... my (primary) wireless router is 192.168.1.1

Is my best bet having the cable co./ISP out to drop me a hard line into my home office so I can move my router in there as well?

Thank you, sir, that splitter will do quite nicely as I have plenty of spare wattage. PLUS this will enable me to light up another pretty LED on my PSU!

So double thanks .... my little kids enjoy all the lights and such. Your time is certainly valuable and I appreciate you sparing some for me!

My C1 cooling system has everything (3 fans at radiator & 1 pump) congregating to a 6 Pin male PCIe. The diagram that came with the cooling system shows this PCIe plugging into the top of the miner onto one of the boards. If I do this, I will not have power from my PSU going there .... is this correct?

I thought I had to occupy all eight (Cool PCIe female ports on top the miner with PCIe power cables from my PSU.

Brand new noobie here  Grin

Love bitcoin and tech stuff so wanted to dive in head first. Just doing this for fun and to support community.

FYI - I bought a Rosewill 1300 watt lightning for a PSU.

Thank you kindly for your time and anticipated replies.
