21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on favorites or upsets? on: July 12, 2024, 11:48:12 PM
In fact, it doesn't make much difference after all... Those who enjoy betting on the favorite side will have a hard time recovering the losses they face, as the odds of these bets pay too little. You can win most of the bets, but if you still face one or another loss, it means all your profit is gone. Gambling's outcomes are a mistery in every cases! You try to master it, you try to find gaps on it to have some advantage, but in the end gambling will still surprise you when you least expect!

Don't stick to betting only on favorites or underdogs. Analyze each case and opportunity individually. None of them should be discarted. Moreover, don't forget the draw possibility which is also a frequent one in several outcomes, even when there are very strong teams playing against weak clubs.
22  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why poor people always have more kids? on: July 12, 2024, 11:36:41 PM
Poor people need proper education and guidance in order to leave poverty through organizing and managing their lives more efficiently. It's something which takes times, and sometimes several generations to happen, but it's something which must be pointed out, like OP is doing, and discussed.
It's not only about education and guidance, if they were raised wrongly e.g. stunting, had trauma, suffer structural poverty etc, they might not able to escape from poverty.
If they were raised wrongly, being abused and not receiving the correct stimulus and incentives for each phase of their lives, it means they didn't receive guidance from the family, school and society where they are inserted.

To guide a child is part of the raising process. You have to give attention, teach good principles and values, show behavioral examples, so they can mirror their actions on your conduct.

However, if this guidance has never been available, how are they going to end the cycle? Noboby can absorb a knowledge or influence they have never been exposed to. That is why it's a process which takes a long time to happen, maybe several generations inside a family...

There isn't a known solution for this issue. What we see for real is that the minority of the individuals in such financial conditions are able to avoid this "destiny", and then start thinking critically about this matter (and end being criticized by everyone else around...). I believe these individuals are the hope for others who can finally get inspired by them to also escape the "Platonic cave" from Plato’s Allegory of the Cave.

Taking this data into consideration, we can see freebitco.in was still doing a pretty stable traffic along the year of 2024, until the recent issues started. It's sad to see how deep the last bar from the chart dropped so much in a very short period of time.

This is a good indicative of what is happening and what will still happen, since no effective measures were taken by the managers.

If that so maybe someone create that account just for phising or get the details of affected users. That's why its dangerous to believe on someone claiming that they are the new support of certain platform including freebitco.in since we don't know if they are for real or just for another phising or scamming attempt.
The official freebitco.in account which posts updates here often (freebitco.in PR) confirmed CSFBC was their new official support member who would take care of the demands from users. I believe everyone here had the fear you mentioned in your post, but since it was confirmed by an official source of information, we took it seriously from that moment onwards. That is why I exemplified it's like they are intentionally frustrating our expectations through their actions or the absence of them.
25  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2024?to 60000 again? on: July 11, 2024, 11:16:14 PM
Bitcoin almost hit 60,000$ today. I guess now it's just a matter of time until Bitcoin breaks this resistance level again. The issue is that there is a very strong sell order around 58,500$ which pushes Bitcoin price instantly to 57,500$ in a very short time period, and then the positive tendency of the market immediately fades to a negative one pushing the price into further losses. Yesterday something similar happened as well. It's really annoying.

I'm just speculating, but could that be German government dumping their coins on the market?
26  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why poor people always have more kids? on: July 11, 2024, 11:04:47 PM
Why so much hostility against OP on this thread for raising a valid reflexion?

It's in fact a very important subject to be discussed, because it directly impacts the daily reality of many societies.

Poor people need proper education and guidance in order to leave poverty through organizing and managing their lives more efficiently. It's something which takes times, and sometimes several generations to happen, but it's something which must be pointed out, like OP is doing, and discussed.

To avoid it or consider it a forbidden matter, implying he is badmouthing or humiliating poor people means to condemn poor people to misery forever! If you want to change a noxious pattern, you have to point what is wrong with that. That is the first step.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Wind Power Has A Profitability Problem on: July 11, 2024, 10:44:33 PM
I suppose the main problem are the batteries, right? The off-grid system. It's indeed a big issue not only for wind power generation, but for every renewable sources of energy systems. The batteries are expensive and only last for few years. On the other hand, the on-grid system seems very profitable. You just have to make sure you can supply someone with the energy you are producing in real time.

And there is so much demand for energy. In many places there are blackouts and rationing due to energy shortage, so even the government needs this partnership with autonomous green energy providers in order to keep the population supplied.

Another issue I see with wind energy generation is that it's more restricted than solar one regards implementation. You have to be very careful where to implement it. If you aren't certain the area has continous flux of wind in large scale during the whole year, it's not a good idea.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A reservoir of unpredictable games. on: July 11, 2024, 10:24:29 PM
Why do people see themselves as a reservoir of unpredictable games whenever they bag a huge win in the midst of others?
I think it's because they are compulsive gamblers and anxious individuals, while in some cases they are pretty superstitious too, what boosts their self-confidence even more, as they attribute their predictions to a major external and spiritual force which can potentially bring them accurate informations about the future. Therefore, we can also consider they are delusional! Once in a while these people make correct predictions, but it's still not enough to cover the history of losses they carry.

And the few who manage to win some nice amounts of money, end not managing these funds properly, because their focus is on predicting more games' results and placing more bets, so they inevitably end losing everything they achieved so far. These gamblers seem to be more interested in predicting games than on the money they make from gambling activity itself...

It seems like that account(CSFBC) was either created as a distraction or whoever was behind it just didn't get the job done. Either way, now their support account is getting useless as it ignores questions from the community just like TheQuin did before.
Honestly, I still can't believe they are being so careless with the community and just ruining their previously spotless 10-year reputation.
It's hard to understand what they originally pretended with this CSFBC support account... It doesn't make sense at all that this person came here once in a lifetime to give false expectations to the userbase to just disappear right after.

Freebitco.in is acting like that boyfriend/girlfriend who doesn't want anything else with you anymore, but since they don't want to be the one to break up, they keep disappointing and frustrating you in a continuous basis, until you lose the patience and finally decide to cease the relationship. 30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Huge win that turn into loss scenario on: July 11, 2024, 10:01:20 PM
Gladly, I overcome already this weakness through securing immediately my profit by withdrawing it and convert to fiat via exchange P2P to avoid gambling again for more win.
Good for you that you are cashing out your profits before falling for the temptation of risking everything in further bets and eventually losing it as consequence. It's never good to be a greedy gambler who is always avid for more profit, because money for him is never enough. This wrong kind of mindset only turns the individual into a loser, who will never be able to grow his funds consistently, because what is realistical and feasible isn't interesting for him, as he only looks for huge gains (which in most cases are heavily risky, or blatantly scam schemes).

Enjoy the fact you are still making profit from your gambling session and put this money into good use through investments, so it can generate further gains for you futurely yet. Then, you can use part of the profit generated to fund another gambling sessions. This way, you will have a continuous and sustainable source of income to gamble, always gambling with money you can afford to lose.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa America 2024 Prediction Thread on: July 11, 2024, 09:49:24 PM
I'm happy Colombia won the match yesterday against Uruguay. They deserved winning, because they were the most skilled team. I didn't watch any Argentina's games yet this season, but I'm inclined to say Colombia has a solid and balanced squad to adapt to different circumstances presented by the game. After the red card yesterday the game got really boring, but at same time it shows how smart Colombia was to adopt a totally defensive position against Uruguay.

They managed to change their strategy suddenly and made a perfect job by not allowing the rival team to score. The defensive colombian players are really good. I just don't think it was a good idea to replace the striker in the late game, as the player Colombia's coach picked to play lost 2 easy goals. Colombia could have made 3x0 over Uruguay with the disadvantage of having 10 players in field yet.

I will cheer for them on the final game against Argentina.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: July 10, 2024, 09:49:42 PM
They lost and I didn't read anywhere talking about dismissing the coach, talking about hiring a foreign coach with great experience, talking about giving power to the coach. nothing changed even with defeat, so don't expect something good to come from Brazil in the next 2 years, it will be the same thing that has been seen, they will have difficulties to qualify for the world cup, and even when they reach the world cup they will have difficulties to move on to another stage and not win the World Cup. You can't be optimistic when you don't see concrete good changes
Today I watched an interview with former Brazilian national team striker Romário. He said exactly what you said and he also added that today's players don't value the World Cup as much as players did in the past. Today they only use it for marketing and to get good contracts. Players don't give their all on the field like they used to. In fact, sports seem to have taken a back seat. If they win, that's fine. If they don't, that's fine too! It's like: it doesn't matter.
It's like Endrick said in another recent interview: 'some brazilian players could be already on vacation (from their european teams), but they have come here, because it was their dream (to play and win Copa America). And they have been training here for 30, 40 days, under the sun'.

For many people it sounded like brazilian players consider they are doing a favour or sacrifice by playing at the national team, having to train under the sun for another month, while they could be already on vacation.

If that is what happens, they really don't care about anything at all! If we read between the lines we will see they were actually concerned about their vacations since the beginning, at that is all... It's contradictory, though, that in the past soccer players had much inferior wages, but played more passionated, compared to nowadays where players have huge paychecks, but don't display any passion for what they do.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I introduce Bitcoin to my client? on: July 10, 2024, 09:37:05 PM
If I have a client that wants to invest in Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies, but he/she does not have any actue ideas on how the Bitcoin ecosystem works. How do I convince such person? what are the smartest ideas and informations I need to share to such person inorder to align with their vision?
Why doesn't your client have any idea on how Bitcoin works? Was he recently introduced to Bitcoin conversation? Doesn't he have time to read and watch videos about it? What is preventing him from understanding how Bitcoin works?

Those are the questions which have to be answered first. Then we can start elaborating what can be done in sequence, so this client can also adopt Bitcoin for his life and have access to all the benefits it brings to adopters.

Actually, there aren't any misteries and difficulties in becoming a Bitcoin investor. You don't have to be a tech guru or to have a deep knowledge in informatics. You don't have to understand all the technical procedures of Bitcoin and to explain how they work. And for every steps you have to follow in order to start investing, you can find them on internet's tutorials. If your client has legit interest on it, I think he will educate himself on this matter quite fast...
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Patience can help alot on: July 10, 2024, 09:15:50 PM
And if we talk about gambling then actually losing is a very normal thing that happens and is experienced by anyone, meaning that when you know or realize that losing is a part that can never be separated from gambling then in my opinion it is very likely that you will have no difficulty implementing it. patience.
Once gamblers manage to implement patience to their inner beings along daily activities, and especially when gambling, they will see it will be much easier to control their impulses and urges. They will learn to appreciate gambling games for what they are during the gambling session, instead of only focusing and caring about final prizes. The impatient gambler keeps worried about outcomes, as he urges them to be positive, so he can leave the table with profit on his pockets, and then he gets anxious and tense during the whole game, only calming down once he receives the profit he is looking for.

However, as we know, it doesn't happen frequently, so the trait of being impatient can cause further damage to the individual on long run. It can trigger serious diseases and declines in human body. Impatience can even cause premature aging in extreme cases.

But to be patient, the person has to learn the nature of gambling games. He can't expect something from gambling which gambling can never delivers, which is a safe and guaranteed income for a living!
35  Economy / Economics / Re: This Will make you rich on: July 10, 2024, 09:05:32 PM
There is no particular formula that can be used to gain wealth, if their were any I think it will be the formula that every one will apply to become rich. Becoming wealthy is not just about much hustling, if hustling guarantees wealth almost everyone on the surface of the earth will be wealthy because will are all hustling very hard. I think becoming wealthy involves so many things like good planning, good reasoning, being discipline, the habit of reading and of getting current information, habit of saving money and investing. Becoming rich is not easy, so many things have to be involved in it .  Making use of every good opportunity can also contribute to become rich, one of the set back of people is procrastinating and this can also be a reason of missing opportunity.
I think this pursue still consists in a continuous trial and error process along the life. We don't know what we have to do in order to belong to that 1%, or even if we are going to succeed reaching there someday, but what keep us moving is the hope that someday it can be possible! It's the expectation and hope which move the man towards his goals, and while he is able to keep it alive, he will be able to move ahead.

When you are hopeful, things make more sense in life. So you feel inspired to make plans, to be reasonable person, to have discipline, to seek for knowledge and to make efforts to save and invest money, even though you wish you could simply spend it in the most satisfactory ways on the present moment.

What makes someone rich depends on different factors, and I don't think we can say one is more important than another. It's the balance between them that allows someone to fulfill his objectives.

I don't have any hopes left for Freebitco.in, not anymore. FUN token failed and instead of profit, it brought liquidation for everyone, Freebitco.in is left without support and no one cares about what happens to the website except their PR which only posts beautiful graphics of promotions. Check the last time wetsuit or TheQuin visited this forum, this will give you the best answer. Freebitco is officially abandoned.

If there is any hope that remains, it's that they'll focus on ClubRiches and Dplay to build a good casino.
Possibly you are right. I remember freedoge.co.in, which also belonged to freebitco.in, was abandoned for a while before being finally shutted down. The site remained alive for a long time, but on its final moments there wasn't anything new being added there anymore, while freebitco.in continued receiving new updates and features.

Then the representative of their services finally came out and told the website was unprofitable, so it didn't make sense to keep that alive anymore, being their final decision to finish the DOGE faucet.

Maybe history is repeating itself. Before finally finishing it, they have to wreck it first. You are totally right by saying no one is caring for freebitco.in anymore. If this platform were still important and meaningful for the people behind it, they wouldn't have let things get out of control like this.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa America 2024 Prediction Thread on: July 10, 2024, 08:31:52 PM
Today we are going to have the semi-final between Uruguay and Colombia. This is a catchy match to predict the winner, because both teams are on the same level of skill performance. I don't see a favorite there. I can only say about Uruguay regards the match they played against Brazil, where they were heavily aggressive on their gameplay and didn't deliver a beauty performance to be admired at all... Even though Brazil had a weak squad, it wasn't easy for Uruguay to beat them, anyway.

So I guess there are good chances that Uruguay or Colombia go to the finals against Argentina. Personally, today's game is a good one to watch because it's going to be full of surprises, unlike the game between Argentina and Canada everyone already knew what was going to happen beforehand (with the exception of Drake, maybe? Cheesy).
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 Republican platform includes Crypto on: July 09, 2024, 11:34:20 PM
MDGA (Make Dollar Great Again)? Cheesy

Quote
"Bitcoin, it just seems like a scam," Mr Trump said. "I don't like it because it's another currency competing against the dollar."
Donald Trump calls Bitcoin 'a scam against the dollar'

I don't know if I feel sorry or angry for those who still lick politicians' boots after all contradictions between speech and practice which have become undeniably evident along the years. Why do people continue fitting into this ridiculous dirty role of politician's sockpuppet? Is it an emotional deficiency? A necessity of belonging to a group to raise personal self-esteem?

It's actually shameful for a crypto enthusiast to donate money to Trump or even cheer about this "endorsement" his campaign is displaying towards Bitcoin after he called Bitcoin a scam, just because he saw it as a threat against his beloved Dollar currency.

There is no honor, no dignity. In other words, if you are against his interests you deserve being denigrated for that sole reason.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Those who judge gamblers, only to find themselves gambling. on: July 09, 2024, 11:17:38 PM
However, it is a sad story to see people who cast away gamblers thinking they are irresponsible, and then fund themselves on this same web doing the same thing. It reminds me of how vulnerable humans can be, and that anyone can change habits when a condition falls on them.
That is why we have to watch ourselves in a daily basis, so we can be more attentive to the temptations surrounding us, what give us an advantage when protecting ourselves against them. When you are fully conscious about something, you can think more logically and reasonably to find the best alternative which won't cause prejudice to you. However, when you don't think carefully, and allow third party's opinions and tendencies drive your life, you end making choices blindly, to only regret about them later, when you face the consequences and conscience takes control again.

Humans are indeed severily vulnerable, and to continuously judge others' actions can give us a false sense of superiority, which in the end turns us into more vulnerable individuals yet, because we think we are invencible, smart, wise and nothing can beat us...
40  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Biden has to go on: July 09, 2024, 11:02:01 PM
It's a disrespect what the democratic party is doing by exposing and exploring an elder suffering from cognitive decline. Joe Biden is just being mocked and ridiculed everywhere. Why does his family allow such lack of reasoning and common sense from these greedy politicians and manipulative media? I don't feel comfortable watching him, so I don't even know how I would feel if it were a family member of mine.

I remember watching those comedy movies portraying the US president as someone completely insane, like Leslie Nielsen in Scary Movie 3, and thought how absurd it was to think on the possibility that could happen for real back then. But in 2024 it's not shocking anymore, as it seems everyone thinks it's normal and acceptable. Even the republican supporters who criticize this situation aren't sensible to how things have changed along the past two decades.

US presidential campaign is a clear evidence of the dystopian society this world has become. I doubt any of you would recognize this shitty world if you were watching it from your TV 20 years ago.
