How do I select EU or US time cards for Warcraft?
There is only 1 listing on the site and it doesn't say if it's EU or US.

Nevermind, found it and ordered one Smiley
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Mining, Fair Launch, No ICO, Based on Ethereum. on: August 14, 2015, 10:49:06 AM

Launching with POW 100% for sure, and should be same algo as ETH for launch.

There is no time for BTC merge mining and some other suggestions as that would be a huge delay, or POS hybrid, or POS, but I think that is something the community can discuss as possibilities down the road.

ETH algo? So will there be proper windows GPU mining software available?
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: April 23, 2015, 12:15:11 PM
Apologies if this has been covered before but what is the status on mining Blake algo with Nvidia vs AMD? AMD still much faster?

Thank you.

Hey guys

I had some time to work on the wallet.
I noticed some stability problems with the latest CAIx wallet, so I decided to fix them.

Full change log:
- Stability improvements (fixed notificator)
- UI bug fixes
- Now using CoinDesk BPI for bitcoin prices
- Removed social tab with IRC

You can download v1.1.2.2 here:
Windows: click
Mac: click
Unix: click

I have no idea what the future brings for CAIx, I haven't spoken to Stuhlman since December. I noticed these little bugs and decided to fix them.

Thank you for the update and the bootstrap Smiley

Here's what they are saying in a tweet now:

"Hi everyone, we suffered 20G DDOS attack, and our CDN service @Incapsula_com stopped our CDN service, we'll fix it asap."

Hopefully that's all this is, a nasty DDOS attack and not yet another exchange down the drain.

27  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: AutoChange new okcoin futures trade bot with pre coded strategy on: February 09, 2015, 03:18:59 PM
I understand this bot requires BTC to be deposited for it to continue working after a profitable trade. However something must be done about the consistent losses and compensation against the BTC for it to be balanced so the bot really takes BTC when it makes true profitable trades. After about a dozen trades this bot has made a deficit in the trading account I am testing on. To me personally, it makes absolutely no sense to deposit additional BTC if past trends continue on the bot which I will lose BTC to use the bot when I make one profitable trade after 7 negative trades. So I lose BTC running the bot while it is making me lose BTC.

Exactly the same experience for me, started it Friday and looked at the results today (Monday) and my overall balance on OKcoin is down, the bot makes one good trade after several bad ones and then the bot stops working and demands money to keep going?
No thanks.

If it asked for money when the overall balance of the account is up, sure.
But this way, no thanks.

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining X11 with a 5970 weirdness on: June 23, 2014, 12:12:34 PM
Been using an old dual 5970 rig for a long time, it's all worn out and can hardly run stock speeds anymore. I haven't used it much for X11 but have been trying it for a bit now and am getting these weird stats:

Does anybody know why 1 core is 50% faster than the others?

bat file:
sgminer.exe -k x11mod -o pool -u user -p x -g 1 -I 18 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8000 -w 256 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 70-100 --temp-cutoff 100 --temp-overheat 95 --temp-target 78 --gpu-memclock 500-700 --gpu-engine 600-700 --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale

Tried a few SGminer versions, this screenshot is from the 14.6 fix one, all sgminers I've tried do this same thing, gpu 2 is always 50% faster than the others.
Current driver 13.12 on Win7 64

This does not happen when mining scrypt or Blake or Nist5 with this rig.

Also tried running just 1 core at a time, same thing.
30  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners (Scrypt ASIC seller) independent feedback thread on: June 13, 2014, 09:57:48 AM

7 hours? My week 2 Fury, which initially went online June 2nd, has been offline probably 80-90% since then and at the moment is STILL down.

Update on my hosted Fury. It finally came alive yesterday and has been mining since.

Lots of responses from Gaw customer support during this whole time (bit delayed due to time zone difference, I imagine) which is a heck of a lot more than I got from Zeus (nada, zip, nothing)

has anyone's hosted Fury gone offline?

Mine has been offline for the last 7 hours  Cry

lol, you'll pardon me if I'm not exactly throwing my btc at them..

34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fury or Blizzard ? on: June 09, 2014, 11:20:42 AM
I have a Fury from Gaw (hosted) and a Blizzard from Zeus.
From what I've read it's pretty much the same stuff, Zeus supplies Gaw.

I've needed support from both companies and Zeus never replied but Gaw replied plenty.

If you read the Zeus thread over at litecointalk you'll see plenty of problems with the Blizzard and the very old 3.11 cgminer made available for it, that might improve as better mining software/firmware is made available. I think it's gona be the users themselves that improve the software for these.

The hosted Fury I have at Gaw came online last monday, a week ago, and has spent probably 80% of that time NOT mining, constant problems with it, always crashing.

Gaw's Fury is cheaper than the Blizzard at the moment, not sure if that's gona last since the CEO of Zeus said that Gaw will have to "fix" that

Given my experience with both companies so far it is very unlikely I will buy from Zeus again but Gaw is still on the table if they improve their tech.

And one more...

Requested a refund of my Neptune order yesterday and got a reply today saying it will be processed within 10-15 working days.

Just to update on my previous post there. Got full refund in BTC a couple of days ago.
Original request made April 23rd so that's quite a wait.

Good luck to everyone, whether you decide to stick with it or not.

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 08, 2014, 03:42:12 PM
Managed to get the GTX285 to accept shares after relentless tweaking.
Working starting point for anyone else in the same boat:
Quote
cudaminer --algo=keccak -d gtx285 -L128 -i 0 -l F1000x8 --no-autotune -o stratum+tcp://POOL:PORT -u USER -p PASSWORD

Thank you to everyone who has made suggestions.

My 260GTX works with F1000x6.

The exact line for my 260GTX looks like this:
cudaminer --algo=keccak -d 0 -C 0 -i 0 -H 1 -l F1000x6 -L 256

I get about 5200 khash with this.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 03:42:41 PM
ok so im getting 65k khash but 0 yays... im pool mining on 1gh ..
I have haven't managed 1 yay yet...

what am i missing ? lol

I have a GTX 260 and am finally getting some yay's at F1000x6, about 5200 khash. I can also set it to F1000x16 but it just seems like it's spinning its wheels then and not actually doing anything at 32000 khash.
