21  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: April 03, 2013, 03:41:00 PM
I really hope you guys have some fiat on the exchanges. That, and that you've taken at least some of your profit.

I'm in the USA and got woke up to the clarkmoody rings. I thought the bids looked thin and cashed out about 20k this morning @ 142.90 with the hopes of a cheaper buy back.
I can't wait for the lag to finish and get back in.
22  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] How much money have you invested in Bitcoins? on: March 28, 2013, 04:21:50 AM
I have about 12k in mining gear and have made over 2000 Bitcoins from start to now. Still holding about 20k USD worth of Bitcoins.

I feel sorry for whoever sold their coins at 50 bucks tonight... Damn

I do not, suckers should be taught a lesson. Who the hell trades at all and even panics in such a shallow market. All this volatility over weekends is pretty much irrelevant it only serves to liberating bitcoins from nervous nellies.

+1
No room for weak hands in this market now. All eyes are on us people. The world is watching so lets not give them a repeat of the last crash without any flaw within Bitcoin itself.

There'll be some very sorry panic sellers this week  Cheesy

There will also be allot of pissed of people in the USA like me who pulled all cash pending the Coinlab deal and can't buy now.
25  Economy / Speculation / Re: CRASHHHHHHHHHH!!!11 on: March 23, 2013, 09:13:55 AM
why is it dropping so hard though? Is t5here one major player selling all his coin or something.

I dont like to see 20$ drops in a day!

Just lots of people selling I'd imagine. I wonder what will happen when North America wakes up.

I'm in the USA and would assume most of us that are on MTGOX have pulled all cash pending the Coinlab deal. I know I have been pulling my $1000 a day limit all week.
I would love to be buying right now but only have my Bitcoins left. Oh well guess I have to just watch.

Would love to be buying right now. Thanks to the MTGOX deal and being in the USA I have been withdrawing cash all week and only have Bitcoins left at MTGOX. I'm sure allot of others in the USA are pissed they can't take advantage of this.
27  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox not pay real money WARNING!!!! on: March 22, 2013, 03:03:46 PM
I'm in the USA and because of withdraw limits and the balances I have on MTGOX I have been withdrawing a $1000 per day for the last week or so. It has hit my Dwolla in less then a few hours and then to my bank by the next day.So in less then 24hrs from MTGOX to my bank. I've had  good result with MTGOX over the last year or two. I'm not sure how the the Coinlab deal will play out and being how slow info has been from Coinlab on this deal I think it's safer to watch from the sideline. So I have been trying to get all my funds under my full control until the dust settles. As of today the 22ND I have all my cash out but still have about 11-12k USD worth of Bitcoins in MTGOX. I thought it would be moved today but so far it is still on MTGOX in Japan. I will be pulling to my offline wallet shortly. Anyone in the USA get the new MTGOX USA web page when logging in?

Any problems with the server right now? I have all nine of my rig showing offline in the dashboard and last share at 8:08am. Looking at BAMT all nine are still connected and accepted shares are going up. Any info would be great.

The problem with one getwork server has been fixed.  I'm HIGHLY recommending people quit using ancient miners and update to a Stratum enabled miner, or run the Stratum Proxy if that is not an option.

I'm connected but still have miner going on and off. I'd love to switch to Stratum but I have all my rig running BAMT. I have not had time to look into what needs to be done to switch. Can it even be used with BAMT?

I guess I'm the only on with issue all of a sudden. I have to switch to a different poll until this gets straightened out.
I can't watch the farm to turn A/c on and off all day.

Are all servers down? I lost connection to all of them even the Giga for large farms.

I'm still hashing at almost full speed..

Well I have a nice size farm and they are mining on and off. Also getting allot of invalids.
I'm on a server for large farms and I wouldn't mind to much but they are in a room cooled
to 30c. We all know from very hot to very cold real quick is bad for them. All my back up
servers are with BTCGUILD but they too are in and out. I might have to direct them to another
Pool to keep them from developing bad solder joints.

I had a similar problem where i was doing a remote bios 6950 to 6970 flash and flashed it to a 5970.No software flash utility would work in windows or in dos. I had to short the flash rom first. If you can't force flash it you will have to jump pin 1 to 8 on the flash rom. One is on the front of the card the other is on the back. Jump the pins on the flash rom for the bios you flashed. Here is a link that should get you back up and running.

Are you still working on the connection problem? I still have miner connection issues and can't connect to website deepbit.net
No, it was solved in ~20 minutes.

So your miner is not working completely or just has bad connection ? You can't open deepbit.net in your browser at all ?
Check if you can at least open f1.deepbit.net instead. (Your browser will show some HTTPS warning about wrong domain name)

If you can do this, then it means that you can't connect to one of multiple IPs that pit.deepbit.net resolves to.

Miners are connected but I still can't connect to deepbit.net or f1.deepbit.net.
I tried with IE and get this.    Internet Explorer cannot display the web page.
FireFox gave me this.    Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at f1.deepbit.net.

It's working again.
