24  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN going up or down on: July 19, 2015, 06:28:58 PM
Depression from it dropping to 2009 levels? No. Only if you have alot put into it as of now.
It is a gamble, but with your money=bitcoin ratio
That's how I see it from where I stand. You go in with $100 and sometimes you get 50% odds that it will rise or fall.
That is the game of bitcoin.
If it drops by $200, then there will be a mass buying of them and will rise the price up, that is what I would think would happen. The whales have the option to hold what they have, well since their whales Grin
25  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: July 19, 2015, 06:22:41 PM
Haven't got any bitcoins since July 15th and from then I only purchased them, didn't earn them. Not too many ways to earn them since faucets are a time waster and only good for someone who just want to see if their wallet works instead of spending anything to get coins sent to you.
Campaigns make the most but only if the managers think your posts are good enough to pass their strict criteria on what is a post is to their specific campaign. Undecided

Have done two deals like this last week and both ended up with me having paypal get involved to get my funds back.
Stop these frivolous posts and stop wasting serious members time who want to trade with somebody professionally Angry
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is the best Bitcoin VISA debit card? on: July 19, 2015, 03:47:27 PM
Wouldn't like to use a bitcoin credit card. I couldn't imagine how much the fees would be for every use.
I'd prefer a debit card personally. So you know you can use it and not get high fees like the credit card companies, be it Visa or Mastercard, would charge you on interest charges.
Wagecan has a debit card but they have had probelms with it  for a while now, so they suspend it's use sometimes.
Coinbase and others like it are saying they are coming out with one. So I will wait for those until I decide which one to get, because they are larger companies and less likely to always have problems with their debit card system so often.

I think they're all technically pre paid debit cards, even though a few stick the word 'credit' on there. You can only spend what you load.

The fees for fiat only ones can be relatively hefty too depending on what you choose. There'll always be a fee involved with a BTC conversion, just a case of finding a card with a reasonable one.

I can see why people might go for them for the sake of convenience but you'd need to carefully weigh up the ongoing costs compared to just selling on an exchange.

I assume you also have to leave your BTC balance on the provider's website. That's a pretty unsexy concept.
I understand now. It's a prepaid just like how a VCC would work. You have to put funds on it in order to make purchases. You can only use what is on there, so there is no interest compounding on the amount spend.

30  Economy / Economics / Re: Greece Cannot Pay, Greece Will Not Pay on: July 19, 2015, 01:49:16 PM
I have many Greek friends and they say with the increase of unemployment, the crime rate has increased. You have to be more vigilant for pick pockets on the streets and theft has increased dramatically. Mostly things like phones, cameras and money clips.
The prices on food hasn't changed much and prices have stay reletively the same.

So this talk on increases in VAT for tourists is ok by my friend  Grin
He lives in a rural area where he doesn't care much what happens in the big cities.
31  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is the Chinese mentality so risky? on: July 19, 2015, 01:44:16 PM
I don't know if technology means that much to them

They have the nature to be hardworking to strive for profit therefore Its not about the technology that driven them it is mainly profit. Basically anything that could make profit for them will be taken into their target despite that it is a nontech things or such.

If you would to compare A and B which A is a rubbish and B is the future technology then whichever could get them a profit would be their choice despite that it is a rubbish or a future technology
But this is what anybody in another culture does. That is not solely just for theirs.
If something is not done for a profit then why would anyone do it, for free?  Roll Eyes
32  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good News : You can use Payza to change dollars to Bitcoin on: July 19, 2015, 01:34:17 PM
How is this compared to Neteller as an option to transfer bitcoin from account to one's own wallet.
33  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cost of Bitcointalk Accounts. on: July 19, 2015, 01:10:46 PM
where I can sell account bitcointalk?

I would recommend starting an auction in that subsection in the marketplace the because you can get a better price then what you normally would. That would rate the value of the account you are selling because members will dictate it's price. You can always add a bin price so you can get what you want in the end if the auction doesn't attract enough interest.
Hope this answered your question .
34  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: July 19, 2015, 01:00:52 AM
I don't think we will ever see $100 again to be honest, $150 perhaps the lowest but if it went to $100 a lot of people might buy in as they would see it as a risk worth taking and 'not too expensive'
That's exactly how I felt when bitcoin was first introduced and selling a few bucks for one.
I thought it was risky to put money on this thing that will probably flop because nobody has any use for it because you can't buy anything with it. The more interest in it, the more people started to flock towards it and found use for it.
But if it drops to $100, I would be speculative to buy because it would probably never recover.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is the Chinese mentality so risky? on: July 19, 2015, 12:55:55 AM
I've always thought it was the government that caused their people to be risky hence eventually turning greedy.
But my view is pure speculation because having never been to the country of the rising sun, I can not give a determined educational answer for never experiencing their culture first hand.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: July 19, 2015, 12:48:39 AM
Go to a online casino supporting bitcoin payment, buy some chips and go to a single zero roulette game, bet all on RED: 47.3% chance to double it  Wink
And why not bet all on BLACK? Isn't it the same chance on odds?

38  Other / Politics & Society / Re: To the greeks.. on: July 19, 2015, 12:39:21 AM
But this is the way the Greeks have always lived since the beginning of their civilization.
They lounge near pools of water and have grapes fed to them by beautiful women while with a goblet of wine.
I am wondering why the world is so surprised that they don't have a care for their own economic stability, because their mentality to let things be is ingrained in their genes.
Have others hold up your country for you, has been the Greek way since the Gods put them on this earth.

40  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying All Bitcoins for 20% of my PP on: July 18, 2015, 07:58:19 PM
I got my funds back and case was declared in my favour.
Do not mess around with a cop.  Wink

I'm glad you got your funds back Cool. Don't know why scammers try and scam against Paypal transfer....
For small amount of less than $7 they give it back within 24 hours, for the one with abcdpandabear. But this amount was $150 so it took 72 hours. It also matters if they notice if the account is an old account or one just a few days old so they know they will not have a chance to recover their funds because it was a dump and run j0b.
