I thought it is only targeting bitcoin exchanges services in Russia?
>Should this proposal become law in Russia, it would affect all aspects of Bitcoin in the country. > Regardless of whether someone owns, mines, or trades Bitcoin, every single one of the >scenarios would be punishable by law in the form of a jail sentence - the article linked in the OP

Hopefully I set up everything correctly so I can get paid ...
You only need to put your ID into the website and set your signature on the forum.

If you want a really secure gateway, I would reccomend going wih dash coin
I think DASH still has flaws, it's just like using a mixer or joinmarket. You could look at Monero.

It's a lot easier to steal somebody's cash than it is to steal their Bitcoins (provided that they secure them properly). If the price wasn't so volatile I'd happily keep most of my savings in Bitcoin.

By the way, I still have BTC0.004 stuck in the site, but I won't have any problems getting it after I leave the campaign, right? As soon as the button is working again that is.
Yes, your funds will stay in the site until you withdraw them. You can leave the signature campaign and then withdraw the funds later if you wanted.

I think that a lot of people here only want Bitcoin to become mainstream so that their investment will increase in price, not because Bitcoin is innovative and cool.
this will always be true, even in the case bitcoin will be the king and used directly to purchase everything without money you can't survive or be happy in some case but as long they help bitcoin going mainstream who care? it's fine for me People will be happy just because of success of bitcoin and that success is possible because of the innovation behind bitcoin. So, if bitcoin goes main stream is a effect of chain reaction of many things and that would trigger many things, people's joy is one of them. I mean that they don't give a fuck about the success of Bitcoin, they just want to get rich with no effort.

But if everybody holds onto it, it's going to be a pretty crappy currency because nobody will spend or accept it.

I am sick and tired of this conversation. Coke and Pepsi are the same drinks! Wake up!
They are very different! One is a drink of the gods and the other is comparable to waste water. Shame we don't have Vanilla Coke but simple Coca Cola is also a good drink. The best I'd say.
I see Vanilla Coke almost everywhere now. Where can you not find it?

I understand their dislike of censorship, but will you stick with bitcointalk
This forum isn't really censored though.

They will probably auction the Bitcoins off like they are currently doing with the Silk Road Bitcoins.

and site is hosted at Namecheap shared hosting.
I thought NameCheap shared hosting used cPanel - how would you get a Bitcoin Node running on that?
