To be fair, they could have made the burn address look like a burn address, instead of generating a random looking address. For example by including "xxxBurnAddressxxx" or whatever in the address. With enough non-random characters, the address itself would be proof enough that nobody holds the key.
Is there anything more than a "this is our burn address" statement?

There's people that understand the magnitude of this project and of all the coins and are trying to take advantage of others that really don't know what's going on, so don't let them take advantage of you.
This project and many of the other coins have huge potential people are just clueless as to what's going on.
As per the magnitude and potential of block. As of this moment Block is still under valued it's bieng offered at a discount it should be $4.90 not behind expanse, but in less then few weeks to a year it should be valued anywhere from a market cap of monero to that of Dash, it's a billion dollar project.
The need for Blocknet with or without the UI (even though I think the dev team will develop a fantastic UI) will be needed in the next few months to a year. You will begin to understand why when your eyes open up to what's going on.
Anything can happen between now and then. You could wake up to see Block (literally) between $20.00 to $130.0, it's not fudding !
Only the people that understand what's going on understand the need, manganite de and potential of this project.

I have a problem.
I installed that new 1.2.1 wallet, i created account, copied address, sent some Ark from Bittrex to that address and tx is confirmed on Bittrex, but tokens didnt arrive to my wallet. It is already about 2 hours. In my client there is also info "This account has never interacted with the network. This is a cold wallet. No Outbound Transactions has been done yet."
Also address and transaction don't show up in explorer:

Bittrex responded like this: "This has been rebroadcasted and should be processed now." Thank you guys. |

No matter what but the fact is that market perceive low supply coins as a good buy and prefer them.
Almost all coins trading above 10k has maximum supply not more than 150 millions.
It is about 5:1 for less than 150m supply for more than 150m supply, that is why you can see more low supply coins on top of CMC ranking but also on the bottom:  And if we consider Top 30 CMC there is 10 coins with supply more than 150m so it is 3:1 for less supply. So kooks like high supply coins are more popular than low supply but it's not true neither because it doesn't really matter. |

Many coins will be delisted from Poloniex , maybe it is time for Bata to be there ;-)
Really? Which ones? "On May 2, 2017, the following will be delisted: BBR, BITS, C2, CURE, HZ, IOC, MYR, NOBL, NSR, QBK, QORA, QTL, RBY, SDC, UNITY, VOX, XMG" Did they give a reason for these delists? Every single one of these coins has decent volume (25+ BTC), some of them have quite significant volume (250+ BTC). Seems odd to me. I guess they are trying to consolidate into higher volume and more established/reputable coins, perhaps? This would also seem to indicate it might be hard to get BTA on polo, at least at the current volume on bittrex (~25 BTC). I have no idea regarding why Poloniex is delisting. You might also notice that most coins listed on Poloniex have significant volume, even though the same coin listed on another exchange ( such as Bittrex for example ) would have much lower volume in comparison.
