23  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk effect on Bitcoin ? on: June 04, 2015, 10:32:58 AM
I wanted to hear some suggestions and opinions about this , what's the real effect of Bitcointalk on Bitcoin ?
I personally don't think that Bitcoin would be that successfull as it is now if there was no Bitcointalk and a good community that answer our questions .
Also I think that if Bitcointalk goes down (like .. for ever) Bitcoin will probably go down too and lose a lot of users . I know I know you will probably say there is Alternatives like Reddit or other forums but they aren't good as Bitcointalk .

Anyway let me know what do you think about this . [ Added a poll too ]

Another forum would simply take the lead. Bitcoin would be just fine.

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Need recommendations for a PC/Windows set-up to mine with GUI minner on: June 01, 2015, 03:20:27 PM

I have a PC with windows running GUI miner. My speed is usually around 450 khash/s. I've been running this for a week but haven't had any Accepted or Stale increase from 0. Should I have by now with this speed?

I connect to Slush's pool and my account set-up looks correct.

I'm now thinking of buying a PC specifically to mine Bitcoin from home but need some recommendations on the spec. My Internet connection is fast and stable.

I'm mining for fun/hobbyist as I know it's hard to mine for net profit with today's electric costs. I still want to mine Bitcoin regardless.

I'm on this bitcoin pizza day this Friday!

Anyone know where I can order pizza for bitcoin in London?

This site offers good service, but looks like they have temporarily disabled UK option due to back end issues.

Thanks!   Grin

Adding another BTC.05 to this bounty, making the total BTC.15

Further inspection..

As a test:

Try replacing
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">

With
<meta name="viewport" content="width=640, user-scalable=no" />

Just modified the viewport to that, it made the layout work on my phone within Kik, but is still completely borked (but slightly less broken than before) in Bluestacks and on MaliceRed's phone. The arrows are still broken, strange bug: if you type something into the search box at the bottom, the arrows begin functioning (not a problem on desktop Chrome with the Kik Dev tools)

Ok.. a bit of progress I guess Smiley

Now try adding this to the top of your CSS file. Hopefully this will fix the arrows.

HTML {
    -webkit-text-size-adjust: none;
}

Hello, thanks again for trying to help out.
However, nothing has really changed after implementing this.

OK, I'll keep looking at the code to see if I can find the issue

Hi,

Just looked at your code. The problem lies with your nested tags. You have an unclosed tag which is conflicting with your nested layout structure.

Best,

If it helped: 17yd8aynNyzhtXAoPhf39MHgbg4qYgU9bU

EDIT:

Check all your '<ons>' tags close properly and make sure you don't do things like this:

<ons><div></ons></div>

Correct way should be:

<ons><div></div></ons>

or

<div><ons></ons></div>

Hey,

How about one of these for your game..? I am currently selling these premium bitcoin domain names for 1 bitcoin each.

All very marketable and work very well for word of mouth.

I'll cover the transfer fee - into your own account with the domain registrar and design you a professional logo for your brand (have 10 years design experience).

1, BitcoinShack.com : 1 btc

2, BitcoinCave.com : 1 btc

3, BitcoinBrewery.com : 1 btc

4, BitcoinFizz.com : 1 btc

5, BitcoinReef.com : 1 btc

6, BitcoinBoing.com : 1 btc

7, BitcoinBoo.com : 1 btc

8, BitcoinBadman.com : 1 btc

9, BitcoinBlabber.com : 1 btc

10, BitcoinJizz.com : 1 btc

Bonus Domain: Bitcoined.me : 5 btc

As a special offer.. I'd be happy to give you one for your game for only 0.5 btc (excluding www.bitcoined.me).

Give me a shout if interested Smiley
