21  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1.5 TH/s] Bitparking Pool, DGM 1.5%,pays orphans,vardiff,stratum,Merge Mining on: May 24, 2013, 09:45:50 PM
Only rejected shares in this moment for all of my nodes.
Edit: but cgminer don't switch to backup pool.
My miners did jump ship, but I have https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=185553.0 so probrbly do to this.

Nice.  My remote miners are all just wasting hashes.   Cry

Mine are all just returning rejected work too. It would be better if the pool were just taken offline while problems are resolved so everyone's miners would fail over to backup pools for now.

How many units were sold in each of the two waves of batch 2?

First off, thank you DoubleC for the great pool! There's none better, with the low fees and merged mining. Smiley

I do have one request and am wondering what it would take to implement:

I have a lot of miners on your pool. They all mine against the same user / pass and when one of them goes down, I have no idea which one it is. Aside from switching my entire setup to something like BAMT, I have a hard time figuring out which miner is deficient or down since i have to log in to each one. They are on multiple networks as well.

Is there any way to extend the pool such that Username.extension mines against Username and the full list of miners are displayed with at least an active or inactive status? Even better, a rough hash rate?

I wouldn't mind creating separate accounts with your existing interface, just adding .1, .2, .3 or something after each new account if implementation would be easier. Perhaps something more unique like Username!!!1, Usrname!!!2 to identify each one would ensure nobody accidentally gets credited for someone else's work.

I'd be willing to pay extra fees for this feature. Thoughts?
25  Bitcoin / Pools / How can I efficiently switch pools on lots of miners at once? on: May 14, 2013, 08:44:19 AM
So I have a few miners spread across three different physical locations. Each location has its own independent internet connection. Occasionally, I like to switch pools to mine different altcoin currencies, get better stability, better stats, whatever.

My machines all run on Windows and re-imaging and installing them is not an option. They all run CGMiner from batch files.

BAMT seemed appealing at one time, but seems the setup would be pretty laborious on 20 machines.

Ideally what I would like is something, perhaps a webpage hosted on a central computer, where I can proxy all of my miners through to whatever pool I specify on the server.

Any suggestions, ideas, etc are greatly appreciated.
26  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Downgraded my shipping?! on: May 02, 2013, 07:51:30 AM
Lol im also now at standard shipping and system is demanding $800 for express shipping wtf?!

Yeah, this is pretty ridiculous. In fact, you'd be better off buying a round trip plane ticket and getting them in person if you knew what day your order was going to be available. Heck, you could probably hire a courier to drive across country for that price.
27  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs just sent me an update e-mail! on: May 01, 2013, 10:06:45 PM
What a damn circus act this is! I first had to reset my password. Finally got that to go through, then log in to the site. First time in, no pop-up to accept. I log in again and it finally appears. I click "Accept" and then get another pop-up that says "some text here" [OK]

WTF?!

I click the "OK" and it just shows me the Accept pop up again. I click accept, and the cycle repeats.

EDIT: I hope the hardware underwent more testing than the website. If not, we're all in trouble.

Fortunately I moved a great many out a week or so ago, but have 32.08069435 LTC remaining there that I want out.

F5 like a maniac bro

Well, I'll be .. it worked .. HEh.

I had been trying this for the last couple of days. Finally I got sick of clicking the damn button for half an hour on end hoping for a payout. Tonight I decided to set up some automation software to do it for me. Well, after searching for 20 minutes for the right tools for the job (http://www.winautomation.com/), getting it installed, setting up a loop, etc. It runs for 2 minutes and pops out my LTC on the 5th click. Stupid luck and actually made me more upset that I wasted 30 minutes on automation that 5 clicks would have solved. hah

Good luck to the rest of you. This pool is not for me. I think you'll all be pleased with www.give-me-ltc.com though.

Cheers!

I'm really pleased with www.give-me-ltc.com. It supports Stratum, nice performance graphs, prompt payouts, etc.

Maybe it's time we start a list of who is owed how many LTC.

I'll start.

TwinTurbo: 137.10070427

Maybe then we will get some kind of response as to if/when/how this is going to be addressed when it becomes publicly obvious how wrong things are right now with notroll.in

At the very least, I'd advise anyone who yields a high hash rate not to mine on this pool, as it may become near impossible for you to get large numbers of LTC out.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC][Pool][PPS]notroll.in PPS Pool | Port80 Mining | Stratum | US&EU Servers on: April 11, 2013, 10:55:10 PM
Yeah, but notroll has a different situation, notroll's customers(miners) don't care, only 5% left (these are the ones that probably had a large balance kept on the pool) and the rest 95% just keep mining like nothing happened (probably these were setting payout at 1 LTC and don't keep balance on the pool). So as long as 95% of notroll miners don't keep balance on the pool, it doesn't matter to these 95% whether notroll is taking money from other 5% high balance accounts. I guess the take away from this incident is: Don't keep anything more than the bare minimum on any pool.

The bad part about all this is it wasn't my intention to keep 137 LTC on the system. I had my auto-payout set to 10 LTC. Of course, it never auto paid anything. I only mined here for 2-3 days, not knowing what had transpired regarding the double payouts. I am beginning to think that Nick is never going to formally address the large players. Silence on the matter might as well be admission of inaction.

Even if I could withdraw only 10% it would still be better than nothing.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC][Pool][PPS]notroll.in PPS Pool | Port80 Mining | Stratum | US&EU Servers on: April 11, 2013, 08:04:03 AM
transaction just went through for me on around 4 LTC

I'm glad someone is able to get their money out of the system. Unfortunately I think the large players are probably getting screwed the worst. My theory is that the higher your balance is, the more probable it is that there aren't sufficient funds to cover the withdrawal in the wallet, thus you get an invalid transaction error.

It'd be interesting to hear from others as to whether or not they are able to withdraw low balances or not.

It's pretty disappointing that we haven't had an official update on how/when this will be resolved. I'm surprised people are still mining here with these issues not being addressed, let alone fixed.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC][Pool][PPS]notroll.in PPS Pool | Port80 Mining | Stratum | US&EU Servers on: April 11, 2013, 04:58:05 AM
was able to cashout (did not received invalid id)

finally

No luck here. I still can't withdraw. All I want is a simple acknowledgement of when the problem is estimated to be remedied. I really like the pool, but honestly I can't pay the electric bills taking 0 LTC in return. I'm happy to continue mining and donating again if a payout will happen. I'm not the biggest fish, but at 23 MH/s it's got to be worth something to the pool. This is disappointing.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: sick of notroll.in on: April 11, 2013, 04:48:34 AM

So far I really like this one. This is what I switched to today.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC][Pool][PPS]notroll.in PPS Pool | Port80 Mining | Stratum | US&EU Servers on: April 11, 2013, 03:31:18 AM
what is the DIFF column in the notroll worker summary?

the difificulty of the blocks they are doing?

some are 32 sometimes though I see 128?
It shows you the difficulty the pool set (vardiff, min is 32) for the last share you submitted.

What is the timeline for getting payouts moving again?

I'm wondering the same. So far it's been a pool mining fee of 100%. I've got 137 LTC stuck.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC][Pool][PPS]notroll.in PPS Pool | Port80 Mining | Stratum | US&EU Servers on: April 10, 2013, 07:05:46 PM
Time to move to a backup pool. This isn't working. Any recommendations?
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC][Pool][PPS]notroll.in PPS Pool | Port80 Mining | Stratum | US&EU Servers on: April 10, 2013, 09:06:13 AM
Shouldn't it be easy enough to identify which users got double-paid, and simply set their balances to negative the amount of over-payment? In turn, they'll have to mine their way back into the positive to gain coins again. Of course, there will be a few who simply took the double-pay and bailed. Not much can be done about that.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC][Pool][PPS]notroll.in PPS Pool | Port80 Mining | Stratum | US&EU Servers on: April 09, 2013, 06:45:19 PM
I'm trying to withdraw funds and have received the Transaction failed(incorrect address?) error for no less than three addresses.

Same here. Hopefully this issue is resolved soon. Meanwhile, the BTC-LTC exchange rate continues to plummet.

I am mining against notroll.in:3333 and my hashrates in the web UI are displaying really low, and some of my new miners I've set up are showing 0 results. Is the UI lagged? Seems the submissions are all being accepted and is hashing normal. Will I still be credited for these shares or should I switch pools for the time being?
40  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: First BFL ASIC! on: April 01, 2013, 09:33:29 PM
I apologize in advance for not reading the last 10 pages of posts, but the pics I saw in the OP seem to be the same images as shown in this BFL video. Same bench, same laptop, etc. So did Luke-Jr take delivery of a unit or not?

I understand it might be possible he was given the unit to work on remotely or something. I hope this isn't just deception by BFL to avoid owning up to not shipping by March 31st.
