Stay away from the blockchain.info app. It has a lot of bugs, recently a serious security issue was discovered in it that affected some phones.

I would recommend "Bitcoin Wallet" by Andreas Schildbach, it is in the Play Store.

I started using Bitcoin in 2013 and started mining at first, but mining wasn't profitable so I started earning from signature campaigns and I made a lot of profit from them.
