I would just like to thank you all for your patience and support. Have a great week everybody! There will be a reindex on first launch, so it will look like its hanging / frozen. The reindex does take a while, then it will close when its done. After that you can open your wallet and continue staking  Thank you for the update!! Any idea why it never finishes loading under windows 10? Used to work fine under the old version, now I just click on it and nothing happens. Do we just replace the files from the old folder or do we need to drop into a new folder? Also what's the task name to shut it down? It just keeps loading so have to reboot as the task shadow* is not listed. Thanks! |

Wondering if anyone else has had problems with their SDC wallet on Cryptsy? My wallet has been "Under Maintenance"
for a month now! Unable to withdraw coins I bought. I'm about done with Cryptsy. Other exchanges are faster and more reliable.
Never have used them, most everyone here uses Bittrex for their SDC trading. Never have had a problem with them. You can also use Poloniex but the liquidity there for SDC isnt as great as on ttrex. Haven't had any liquidity problems on Poloniex, been trading there for a long time. There is usually over 12k SDC for sale on any given day. Currently almost 17k for sale with about 7 btc in orders. Never had any withdrawal problems there either. Vouch for that, exchange is legit and plenty of SDC to go around! |

I think I finally got it to work, I have my balance and I can send!
Seems there are a few bugs with the wallet. For one the address book is empty, but the software tells me the address is already in the address book when I try to add it.
Also on the top right where it shows your account, my balance is correct but the account number is different. I was expecting to see my account number there.
Could this be just issues with windows 10? I am using ver v1.3.2.4
In any case looking forward for more greatness! Definitely one of the few interesting projects!!!

Hi LUX, I was able to import it in the address tab. I can now see it in there thanks!
Is there however a way to select it so you can set the imported account as the default so you can send from it and see the balance?

Ok, so I love the concept of SDC. It has great promise! However whats up with the Paper wallet on the SDC page??? I transfered all my funds from the exchange and now I have no way to get them out!
Is there a way to import my paper wallet into the Shadow desktop wallet??? Any help is appreciated, seems its impossible to find an answer to that question and feel my funds are hostage to this paper wallet.

There should be a private key on the paper wallet that you can load into the software wallet using the importprivkey command in the wallet console. There is a console, wow that needs to be better documented. Great project, but there needs to be one page with most of the information on all these wonderful apps and how to use them!!! Thanks man! The various cryptocoin consoles have a lot in common. Importprivkey and dumpprivkey are universal as far as I know, and they are very powerful commands that allow you to turn any wallet into any other wallet. What makes your coins yours is nothing other than that you alone have that private key. So be careful. Definitely thanks for the tip! Once you use Importprivkey with your master key it seems to recognize the key and shows the command in green as it was accepted. But I see no change in the wallet. Any trick I'm missing? Ninja edit: I just re-ran it again but getting this : Method not found (code -32601) when using Importprivkey and my masterkey. Could this be related with windows 10? Nevermind just a caps thing, method works. Just don't see any changes after I use the command. |
