21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Should the Deepwebs adopt Monero [XMR]? on: August 06, 2015, 07:39:23 PM
There is talk circulating the internet that the deepwebs market may adopt Monero due to it's safety and anonymity.
I personally think it's a good decision due to Bitcoin being somewhat traceable.

My question is, if the deepwebs were to adopt Monero how soon should they do it? Because it seems like the price of Monero is going to skyrocket soon. Should the deepwebs wait until XMR stabilizes a bit?

Also anyone have any other thoughts in regards to the deepwebs discussing Monero adoption?

Thanks.

Fail.

Shadowcash is a scam.

Nice scam pump bro.

Monero is the future.

Very good article. Finally some intelligence on this board.

Why do people insist on creating more altcoins?... focus on something revolutionary such as NXT.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NFO] Ethereum = Scam on: July 31, 2015, 07:52:37 PM
Anyone has met Antony (the founder of Ether) knows hes shaddy as fck. The guy doesnt really understand bitcoin and generally talks baseless crap just like Roger Ver.

Someone should do a background check on Antony and you will be shocked.

Everything's shady.  You forgot about the Goldman Sach's connection.  There's only so many people in this world that have worked for them (out of 7 billion people) and yet Ethereum has them.

Then there's Vitalik - always doing these hour long interviews and flying around the world to promote Ethereum.  When does he have time to do any development?  Why is he passed off as some sort of prodigy developer?  How is that kid more well known than Charlie Lee or actual Bitcoin developers like Gavin Andresen?  I swear that Vitalik is a mascot, some Goldmansachs executive at some table probably said: "We need someone 'hip and kewl', like Justin Bieber, to promote our scam coin to the skateboarding millenials".. "umm how about Vitalik sir, all he does is edit some magazine read by a few dozen people and he's also from Toronto just like Bieber", "Good job Samuels, keep up the good work and you'll get that raise".

I don't seem any similarities between Justin Bieber & Vitalik..... I do agree the goldman sachs connection is very fishy.
That's why I want no parts of Ether. Appears more like a scam the more I do investigation.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shadowcash vs. Monero, an unbiased debate. on: July 31, 2015, 07:44:43 PM
I've always viewed shadowcash as a scam. Not only that but it's complete bloatware and the coding is corrupted. That alone makes me question it's security.

Monero (XMR) is flawless in every sense, and fully anonymous... Everyone loves monero, especially the deepwebs.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin section may be the reason why crypto succeeds in the future on: July 31, 2015, 12:39:04 PM
nah. I think most altcoins will die in the future except handful which will continue to grow because of development, proper marketing, innovation regardless if they're being promoted on btctalk or not.

marketcap of altcoins in general have decreased substantially overtime. It's not like people don't know altcoins exist..they just think it's a scam (which is true in most altcoins cases). If people who are in altcoins think that most altcoins are scam..how do you even expect general population to think otherwise? it's like McDonald trying to say their burger is best while their employees saying it tastes like shit.

may be once exchanges are regulated we might see more investors coming in but right now if you talk about altcoins outside crypto they label it scam because they've lost money in past...it's gambling for most new investors at this point.

When people get scammed by ANY altcoin..they don't say "this altcoin is scam"..they would label ALL ALTCOINS as scam in general and stay away from it. stereotype bias kicks in and investors walk away because no one wants to lose money regardless of how small it is. Only strongest investors stick in and look for good project to invest in while weak investors (80%) walk away and look for other opportunity to increase their income.

such is life in crypto.

That's not how any of this works.....
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Section Cleanup Proposal on: July 31, 2015, 12:33:39 PM
i actually support Monero, but NXT is revolutionary. If anything here deserves it's own section it's NXT because it's more than just an ALTcoin.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ShadowCash one of the most advanced Crypto projects to date? on: July 31, 2015, 12:29:38 PM
Shadowcash isn't really taken seriously. It's just another silly altcoin.

When it comes to anonymous coin, everyone pretty much know Monero (XMR) is the best for that.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: jl777: Boolberry ONLY making significant improvements to cryptonote...NO XMR on: July 31, 2015, 05:44:51 AM
Lol at XMR being insignificant..This is hilarious Cheesy .... Monero is the most trusted, and most used anonymous cryptocurrency on the planet.
Everyone has adopted Monero for it's anonymous, untraceable properties. There is nothing like it.

I don't even own Monero, but I respect it.

34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT (AT) vs Ethereum (Where is the Future)? on: July 31, 2015, 05:39:57 AM
or bitcoin might become myspace.com and ethereum the facebook

NXT isn't really in the conversation.

Nice try to disregard one of the most innovative platforms in technology right now.
NXT is hands down the most likely candidate to becoming the altcoin of the future... As a matter of fact, calling NXT a mere altcoin is an insult because it's much more than that.

I haven't even mentioned the Asset Exchange, SuperNET, and it's platform for pure decentralized orgs.

Nice try though.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to decide what cryptocurrencies to invest in? on: July 31, 2015, 05:29:59 AM
Hi, I'm relatively new to cryptocurrencies and i want to start investing. I'm just wondering how to decide what currencies to invest in. There are so many its hard to decide. I currently own some: Dash coins, litecoins, shadow cash, ripple, and of course bitcoins. Is there any good methods of choosing currencies other than just identifying trends in charts or reading about them? Any other beginner advice?

Rule #1 never take "investment" advice from bitcointalk forums. You're holding a bunch of shitcoin & scams.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero ignored by the public even though it has the best tech out there? on: July 31, 2015, 04:34:56 AM
People who are against XMR are people who are bagholders of Dash..... which is a failed currency.

People need to realize that Monero (XMR) is the only fully anonymous coin on the market. Period.

We need to stop having coin-wars and accept that the future of currency is BTC for daily use, NXT platform for assets, finance & contracts, and XMR for anonymous transactions.

Monero is here to stay.....
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Dash is still so high? on: July 31, 2015, 04:26:38 AM
I feel sorry for anyone still holding Dash..... The coin is a failure, and not even anonymous. The government can track the coin via masternodes.

Dash is hands down one of the worst altcoins in the anonymous realm.

The only purely anonymous, untraceable, currency out right now is Monero (XMR), and the deepwebs will most likely convert over to it for transactions...  But eventually they will move their platforms to NXT and use both NXT and XMR.

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT (AT) vs Ethereum (Where is the Future)? on: July 30, 2015, 11:29:09 PM
you mean frontier version... im sure there will be a big dump for profit taking in the coming days with what they distributed.

as for nxt, how does their AT (automated transactions) compare to Ethereum's system? i know its not created yet, but maybe that's a good first move as nxt can see the flaws of this new system and fix it on their own release.

Wink  Thank you for the correction. Fixed.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero ignored by the public even though it has the best tech out there? on: July 30, 2015, 10:04:45 PM
Doge and LTC are more popular, this is very simple  Wink First come, first served  Wink

Still holding that bag? Poor guy, I can see you being that old guy on the forums who still thinks LTC & Dogecoin will come back one day many years after they are long forgotten and obsolete.

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT (AT) vs Ethereum (Where is the Future)? on: July 30, 2015, 09:57:22 PM
To everyone whom is not aware Ethreum [frontier version] was released today.

Let's have a real sophisticated conversation here guys.

Is NXT (AT) a threat to Ethereum? or Vice Versa?

Explain your reasons.

I personally will not give my own opinion at this time, and remain neutral.

Hell, no. Both will settle into their respective niches and more-or-less coexist, because that's how the wide wide world of business typically works these days.

That's the question though, will the existence of the other hinder the other from being as successful as it would have been without the others existence?  They may be able to co-exist, but to what degree?

Google & Askjeeves coexist, but Google is 100x more popular, and most would argue that Google has much better results and features.
