21  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think in the future on DONALD TRUMP in his term of presidency ? on: February 15, 2017, 08:41:30 AM
i wanna know your thoughts ^^

Our president is eerily similar with Trump in terms of how he perceived the media as bias and how he doesn't handle criticism very well, and so far our government is already losing much enthusiasm from the people and starting to realize how stupid making him as our president so I think americans will surely realize this as well sooner or later.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin business success on: February 15, 2017, 08:34:22 AM
I;m interested, since bitcoin isn't that much widespread yet, how are businesses (that are directed towards bitcoin only) doing? Is it paying off or is there some serious profit involved?

A lot of mainstream companies are now realizing the value of bitcoin especially when in comes to payment methods so in this sense those companies who pioneered bitcoin will definitely see a huge growth on their portfolios.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Investors dumping gold-switching to bitcoin? on: February 15, 2017, 08:31:14 AM
Was reading a review about Simpefx day trading platform. As Im looking to get into Forex trading, and get away from gold. (for now)
Looks like im not the only one. Tons of investors are dumping gold....

"Gold has been on a wild ride since the U.S. election, plummeting immediately after Election Day and regaining a bit of ground since the final week of 2016."

Full Article Here

Not surprised with this development as bitcoin is way more easily accessible to use to buy and sell stuff than gold.

25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: December 26, 2016, 02:13:00 PM
It seems for me that the odds for the game between Cle -5 vs Det is a trap bet if go Cleveland because everyone will assume the Cavs will just roll pass the Pistons but take note the Cavs are playing back to back nights so for that I'm going with Detroit +5. Good Luck
26  Economy / Speculation / Re: Once we hit $1000, how far will BTC drop? on: December 26, 2016, 01:33:51 PM
With $1000 in the not too distant future and the ensuing sell off (I'm sure many consider this a psychological target to sell 20-50% of their bitcoins for profit, if only to re-invest after the drop).

The question is: after $1000, just how far do you think BTC will drop back? Could we see the days of $500 from August again, or are we stable above $800-900?

It might drop substantially but I don't think it will go down under $750, and I think you're correct that the price may stable around $800-900, given the bitcoin's fundamentals are getting firmer everyday and it's better overall for bitcoin if the volatility will be checked.
27  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why isn't public transport free? on: December 26, 2016, 01:07:13 PM
In my country, all public transportations are owned or leased by private entities, the government awards the infrastructure projects to the highest bidder and after finishing it, they will be the one to operate it under rules and regulations by the government. So basically all public transportations here can never be free.

Good evening to everyone! Tonight we have a great game and below my prediction for this:

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Golden State Warriors => Total under 221.5 points

Good luck to all and Merry Christmas! Smiley

why under 211.5 points?
He put under 221.5 points Roll Eyes which is a good prediction if you ask me since the injury and player that was mentioned being out. Curry was struggling to score during the last game so his three pointers will not come so easily in this game.
It will ensure Cavaliers with the outright victors of this Mega Matchup of the decade if you ask me. Wink

It really seems the Cavs are holding back their play for this game, I'm getting the sense they can easily take the lead this whole game but looks like they are not trying to as of the moment especially with Curry having a bad game. This 4th qtr would be interesting if they'll decide to up their game or not.

Surprisingly Curry never has a good Christmas game. GSW collectively playing really well but LBJ is have a really good game as well. LBJ had 10 rebounds in first half itself. Could end up making another triple double for himself if he gets some more assists.

And just like that, the Cavs decided to step up and play in the 4th quarter and made the Warriors look like they don't know what hit them. Kyrie toyed GSW the whole of 4th including the game winning basket. This goes to show I was right that it feels like the Cavs were just holding back their play for the first 3 qtrs. Very nice game for the Cavs as well as the Warriors were kinda exposed on this one too.

Ang aking tanong...are you willing to pay a certain tax if the government will ask you to do so on Bitcoin transactions?

Paying tax will always be a hard sell but we have to do it because that's what the law dictates and as long as the taxes go directly to social services that benefit the most needy then I'm fine with it. In regards to paying tax for bitcoin transaction, I have no problem about it as long as it is aligned with the current taxation law like implementing VAT, or whatever because after all that would mean they consider bitcoin as a real currency and it's a good thing in the end.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL/NCAAF 2016 Picks, Tips, Discussion on: December 25, 2016, 11:50:33 AM
Will go with Pittsburgh ML vs Baltimore, though this will be a very interesting matchup with both teams in the same division needing to secure their playoff spot especially to the Ravens who need to win this to steal the top spot for their division but I think Pittsburgh will not let this one go out and Baltimore will have a tough time against them. Good Luck and Merry Xmas to all.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks accepting bitcoin on: December 24, 2016, 06:32:13 PM
Even though , iPayYou doesn't look as good as other services such as Bitpay for example , they managed to make Starbucks accepting bitcoin in their official application and that's definitly an achievement for a new service like them.
In order to use this feature , you first have a wallet in iPayYou otherwise It's not going to work. The next year already sound very promising and I can't wait to see more .

This is definitely a good news for bitcoin considering Starbucks is an established and mainstream company, to be able to accept bitcoin as a form of payment will surely gain a lot of mileage for bitcoin and it may eventually propel it to new heights when other established companies follow suit. I wouldn't be surprised if bitcoin's price continues to surge with this kind of development.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much bitcoin price now is affecting your bets? on: December 24, 2016, 06:23:22 PM
i was wondering how much do you change the size of your bets and for example your bankroll now that bitcoin price has gone up to ~$900?

i am usually getting more cautious about each bet and make smaller bets when price goes up just to match the price with the risk i take.

I don't usually take into consideration the price of bitcoin when putting my bet, I just do my normal betting whatever the price is so not to distract me on my strategy on gambling anyway at the end of the day the important thing is to win your bet.
35  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading robots - wrong assumptions made by beginners. on: December 24, 2016, 04:56:40 PM
Kinda noob and off-topic question here, I've been trading for quite sometime now for both forex and bitcoins, I was always curious on how to use trading bots but never had the chance to understand it though so my question is how can I use one for example at poloniex/bitmex?

I just wish for everyone to have the same opportunity and that prosperity is not exclusive to only a handful of people who are in power but to everyone else especially to those who worked harder beyond their means. Merry Xmas to all.

38  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A beautiful disaster for the Philippines on: December 23, 2016, 03:35:22 PM
You can't fight a crime by creating another crime, there's no justification for that, the government is just creating another problem for the society because if ever they eliminate all the drug addicts or personalities, it will just be replaced by killers and murderers everywhere and it doesn't make the country any better that way at all.

The Philippine government is not eliminating drug addicts and pushers if they surrender and not fight the cops. The government is promoting voluntary surrender of addicts and pushers and thousands of them rallied and promised to change and undergoes rehabilitation programs by the government. The government has suffered negative media publicity due to influence of oligarchs who owns the TV companies that are controlled by the other political party that tries to shut down the present administration.

I really don't know who are being brainwashed here, it seems from your statement that the killings isn't happening around the country and they way you potray the government seems you justify every extra judicial killings that happened and they are promoting something that is not happening. Listen, you don't have to watch or listen to every mainstream media to know what's happening around you, you just have to open your eyes and think.
39  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $1000 is on the way on: December 23, 2016, 03:23:52 PM
We can see the price now, $1000 is on the way.

I already predicted this, that bitcoin's price might hit $1000 by the end of this year in one of the thread here a couple of weeks ago that was titled with something like 'bitcoin's price will go up to $10k' but I got laughed at by other users, telling me it was impossible to hit it because they thought the price back then was too far (around $750) to reach $1000 mark with less than a month then now this happens. Sweet!
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: December 23, 2016, 02:30:33 PM
Still think Golden State will win against Detroit and cover the spread of -7.5 even though they are playing back to back games on the road, the Pistons doesn't really have the firepower to stay with the Warriors. Good Luck
