Went to order and use crypto but getting slammed with an $80 US transaction fee.  So much for the 5% discount Sad

Anyone else having the same issue?  Maybe I'll wait for the network to cool down.

Looks great.  Love the power consumption to hashing ratio. What is your expected production run for first batch???

Just wanted to say I've had my R606 for about 3 months now and it runs rock solid at 750mhz.  I used the latest cgminer from 419mining site and it runs with 7 Newpacs in one instance for about 1.75 TH/s.  Very happy with my purchase.  As a sidebar does anyone have a Newpac or three they'd like to sell?  I still have 5 slots open on my second Gekkoscience Hub Smiley

Keep up the great work!

I am hoping someone who has experience with Avalon miners can help me out. I have a 1047 that I cannot get to hash. Here are some of the things I have tried in the pool field.

cgminer -o stratum+tcp://pool.ckpool.org:3333 -u 1PKN98VN2z5gwSGZvGKS2bj8aADZBkyhkZ.0 -p x
stratum+tcp://pool.ckpool.org:3333 -u 1PKN98VN2z5gwSGZvGKS2bj8aADZBkyhkZ.0 -p x
stratum+tcp://pool.ckpool.org:3333

I have tried different addresses, I have tried the other port (443) and I have tried the solo pool.

The worker field is my address and the password field is x.

I save and reboot after every change but the hash line never moves from the zero line. I do not not what I am doing wrong or missing.

Also, I did not see a way to setup a backup pool. Is that not an option with this miner?

Here is a link to the manual for your miner;

According to the info you should only be putting in - stratum+tcp://pool.ckpool.org:3333 for your pool selection.
Username is your btc address (obviously) but drop the worker -  .0
It may be that you have a psu issue from what you've posted but make sure to check the manual for anything "dumb" you may have missed.

Wen block? Let's pump some hash in here.

I've tried to find an anwer to this in the thread but haven't had any luck.  The Block tab on the CKpool site shows that the last block solved was way back in February of this year.  Is that correct?   Huh

Would be great if that was the case Smiley  After reading through the posts I'm very much looking forward to getting one.  Currently have 2 Newpacs with a third on the way.  The difference in consumed power from my old KNC Saturns and BFL Singles is amazing.  The Newpacs have been grinding away for almost 3 weeks now at 600mhz pushing 135 gh/s each on the Gekkoscience hub with no issues at all.  Very happy with the manufacturing quality  Grin

Wow, just received an email sent from 419mining at 3:48pm to let me know that the r606 is now back in stock, only to log on to 419 at 6:58pm after seeing the email to find that they are once again out of stock!  Popular little beasts, aren't they.  Guess I'll have to shop around to find one now.  Keep up the great work guys!
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gridseed Problems (Dualminer 5 chip) on: September 07, 2015, 07:49:28 AM
From what I have read most folks have solved that problem by starting cgminer first and then plugging in your units. Make sure your usb hub is powered too or you won't get any of the gridseeds to connect.  In my experience a discount 10-port hub won't support 10 units but only 7.  If that doesn't work you can try BFGminer 4.0  . I've been using it for about 4 months and am now running 40 gridseeds and its been working quite well.
Oh, and , use 850mhz as the startup frequency.  It is the most optimal of all to start with.  BFGminer 4.5 allows for individual tuning if you want to go that route.
