21  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price break 5700 USD, is this uptrend or bulltrap? on: May 08, 2019, 11:02:26 AM
Its wind of change which we are all been waiting for. For a long time now people have started giving up on bitcoin but let us hope this price will consistently bring about a uniform rise in other strong altcoins as well. I will like to see ETH breaking that $170 resistance and move to the next level hopefully.
The people who gave up on BTC already left. The ones who believe in the king of the crypto market continue to trade it over the long term. This is no bull trap since I see this as perfectly organic growth spurred by positive news from every direction.

ETH will cross $170 soon and it will target $180 next.
Those people have sold their portfolios when bitcoin reached the bottom price and i have seen so many weak hands have told me if they have sold their crypto portfolios. I can confirm your answer if this is not a bulltrap consider some bad news have already published by some media but the price of bitcoin keeps bullish right now. The bulltrap has already passed in the last month and we are in the right way to go to the moon again. I have prepared my seat belt in my rocket with bitcoin. anyone with me?  Grin
So many methods the bear have used to keep pushing down the price of Bitcoin in the last few weeks and yet bitcoin keeps charging up in price, I think we are already heading straight to the point where the bulls will take absolute charge of the market, once we successfully overcome the retrace we settle finally on $6000.

I sense lots of actions arising through this value ($6k), especially actions from the bull and actions from people that will FOMO. So no more panicking for me, bitcoin movement now, is more reliable and I can confidently change some of my fiat again to bitcoin, because it is certain that more increase will occur before this month runs out.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEVELOPERS MUST THINK DIFFERENTLY on: May 07, 2019, 12:01:21 PM
I kind off wonder why we keep having some repetitions of already existing project, and the developers keep saying "oooh the existing project is not scalable" for example, some projects have been born because of low transaction per seconds of the ethereum network(TPS), which of course does cause serious problem for the overall network ecosystem. This ethereum developers have moved to try and arrest by the upgrade called "Constantinople".

The world have many areas that need the help of blockchain, for example the recently concluded election in Nigeria was filled with violence, killing, rigging and snatching of ballot  papers, together with mass voters apartheid in subsequent election. All these would have just been handled with the aid of blockchain voting, without fear of been hacked or hijacked. The sighted example and many more is just one area that really defines adoption. It's possible to create coin and during the election period, the government can be made to pay for the blockchain services by buying the ecosystem token, which is not a must.

The bottom-line is that: Instead of having many failed projects in this space, developers should come forth with strong and life application project and not to keep imitating other projects like we currently have a spray of exchanges with their tokens, the immediate gain of quick money should be kept aside and developers should try and bring up a feasible challenging problem, to solve many human yearnings.
You are right about this, project developers really need to start thinking outside the box and come up with solutions to problem that is yet to be solved, majority of these developers are just doing copy and paste and building on projects that is already existing in the name of making it better, what assurance do they have that they can really do it better than the initiators.

This is exactly what is happening with the IEO now, someone came up with the idea already and instead of them to look for other solution t this ICO scam, and they are still building on what Binance has already solved but not enough to completely take scam projects off the market.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardcap ICO is no guarantee that the project will succeed on: May 07, 2019, 11:31:23 AM
ICO is not a guarantee that the project will be successful, because most ICO projects are still limited to concepts and do not have clear references,
but projects that don't make ICO or premine are usually serious and good projects.
and I also agree on this, what about your opinion?
Well, I guess it is not a new thing for everyone to know and that is why people keep hammering on the need to careful study the project, especially the team and the product before investing in an ICO. It is only a very genuine successful team with a sound product that will make an ICO successful in future.

This problem of bad projects has really crippled the ICO market and made a lot of investors lose interest because they eventually result to being dump when they hit exchange and because of their weakness, they die off the market by turning to shitcoins and making the holder become bag holder, I think projects without ICO or premine are still the best now.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling securely and sensibly online on: May 07, 2019, 10:59:12 AM
I'm with sports betting and I just gamble when I feel that I have luck or a big chances that my team where I put my money will win.

Then that makes you safe in gambling, of course you don't feel you are lucky every day so you are not a regular gambler.
Gambling less will have less risk, that's the reality and I wish I only gamble less but I really like the feeling in gambling, I just have to stay discipline.
Like you, I also love sports betting or sports gambling.
If you have to be disciplined then you must learn how to gamble less. It takes a very disciplined gamer to know when to say No to a game no matter how interesting the game might look. There are times that games can be very interesting and it will look that we are making so much profit, , it’s even during this period that self-control is more required otherwise, one would just be heading straight to becoming addicted.

To gamble less will not only help to reduce risk but would make a gambler more responsible and a gambler can be more disciplined. Even research has shown that it is not too good to spend too much time in gambling as it can lead to addiction.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: May 07, 2019, 10:23:46 AM
Winning is definitely the thing that triggers gambling addiction most of the times because everyone wants more money and for them gambling seems like the quickest and easiest option to optain it. When you win one time you get a feel of that and you want more so you continue hoping the same thing will happen to you every time.
I don’t support that at all, there is nothing bad about with winning and it can never be among the things that triggers addiction. No one wants to lose in a game and it is very normal to want to play again after winning. It’s in rare cases you will see people who won a game and just say goodbye without having a retrial. It is normal to want to replay with the hope of winning again.

The only thing is to limit greed while trying to win again, What I do in this case is not to play with all the profit I made from the first win, I can put a part of it to replay and when I lose, I just quit for the day. That is where self-control comes in. It is greed that actually triggers addiction not winning.
26  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: May 07, 2019, 05:19:59 AM
Well, I didn't think about that one, then yeah it will probably take about 6 months to be truthful, I was considering most of the money would probably come from either people betting (which considering the house edge probably would profit you more than actually buying the ticket) or would be direct purchases, I didn't know any other option could be used but yeah the free rolls and referral income would probably be used as well.

I have directly purchased myself (even though a small amount) and that is why I wasn't focusing on other options. In any case 0.5 in less than a week must feel good, I know it won't continue like this forever but I am pretty sure since this money would be money you would already pay for to people instead of everyone this will make it to just one person and you guys probably will be about break even levels (a bit lower a bit higher) when 6 months ends.
27  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip! on: May 06, 2019, 07:06:22 AM
Large investment usually should be done at once because not many people will have the money to always buy much at every dip, and as you said, buying at dip should be an advice for people that are buying little by little. Within 2 weeks ago, bitcoin has had about 3 dip, and even if its $2000 an investor has bought those times, I am sure by now, there would have been a climb of at least $400 on the investment.

This strategy is actually not for an investor, it works more for crypto traders that are always in the market most times to monitor the price of bitcoin and using analysis to trade their coin.
Hmm, there is true sense in your talk, one cannot keep buying every dip because of financial constraints, even right now, there are so many people that have heard of Bitcoin investment but still does not have any money to make move to buy the coin, and the one that has managed to buy at one point, struggled to do so, depending on the economy of the pocket.

We can only buy at every dip when we have money, but it is really worth it when one have the opportunity to do so, it will give one huge return on investment when the investment become very mature.
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price break 5700 USD, is this uptrend or bulltrap? on: May 06, 2019, 06:23:44 AM
The rise in the price of BTC could be attributed to a lot of factors, but we don’t know exactly what yet contributed to this increase same as what happened last month, everything has just been speculation, just like I read yours now, it was totally another reason giving by another analyst, I learnt it was as a result of some transactions that could not go successfully on bifinex, which they had to buy BTC first to be able to carry out the transaction successfully.

Anyway, whatever the cause may be, there will be lots of factors over the year that will lead to increase in value of BTC, we had one already last month, one has already done the present one and I expect more factors soon to take the price to next level of $6500.
29  Economy / Speculation / Re: the increase in the price of bitcoin is getting better. on: May 06, 2019, 05:33:01 AM
we all can see for ourselves at the beginning of 2019 until now the price of bitcoin seems to always experience a good price increase, but if at the end of 2019 the price of bitcoin can reach $ 50000, what do you think?
I would be the happiest person ever on earth; do you know what that value would have saved me? I t will clear the bad record I already have in the eyes of some people thinking I have scammed them when I made the mistake of asking them to invest in during the last ATH, and based on their lack of understand about the market, they kept thinking I have scammed them and since then, my explanation to them has been almost on a daily basis.

I am really tired of having to explain the situation to them every day, I just want to pay them off and focus on my own investment, I wish that value was real but unfortunately, I dint expect this happening until we approach the  bull run which this year is no longer feasible for the  bull run.
I understand your situation mate, I also got myself involved in things like this but what I did was to really call all of them to a live meeting and explained into details what the whole cryptocurrency is all about and what is required of them.

I only told them that what they need is patient because they will eventually get double of their investment when the bull run comes which I don’t know when, except they want to sell their remaining one as it is which will be a great loss, most of them took the option of waiting till the ATH comes, no matter how long it may take, so if bitcoin would reach that price this year which I also doubt, it will really be a great thing.
30  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: May 06, 2019, 04:58:36 AM
This is getting super crazy, I know it supposed to be 6 months and it would make you guys super rich if you continue to do this for 6 more months because it will be millions of dollars when it ends however we are already over the prize amount, 200 thousand dollars was the amount you said you would credit (if we opt for cash instead of the car) and you are already over 200 thousand dollars today and its only 4th of may. I can't believe how many people and how many tickets are in this already.

Would you consider cutting it short because of the number of tickets sold or will you continue to wait that said 6 month period just in case? I can't believe we just talked about what would happen if you guys can't sell 200 thousand dollar worth of tickets and here you are breaking that on your 4th day. This is surreal.
31  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 29 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: May 04, 2019, 08:04:02 PM
All people, all gamblers have to care about money, who don't. The differecence is the level at which they care about the amount of money (BTC) they use to bet. Big gamblers care about their money at high figures, small gamblers also care about their money but at very small bet amount. They also have nearly same interests on expects to win with their bets. They have only one really big difference, they way they planned to use money they won (if they really win)
I think the difference is a whale doesn't have to gamble big to have fun, they could still bet small and have fun and not care about the loss at all.

For example, someone that has 100+ bitcoin on their bankroll betting on 0.01 and winning or losing 2 bitcoins wouldn't care about it at all, hence they don't "care" about it, whereas a small gambler possibly don't even have 2 bitcoin to rub against each other. That is why I think if you talk about equally big numbers (whales 10 btc of 100 btc, fish for 0.001 of 0.1 btc) you might be right, they do care about it equally probably (still not equal to my eye) but when whales and small timers play around the same numbers than it becomes obvious that whales don't care about the losing part of the gambling world.
32  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: May 04, 2019, 01:27:47 PM
because bitcoin prices dropped as a result no new rich people arrived suddenly. . . on the contrary, many people go bankrupt because they suffer losses ... haha haahaa

I don't know if this is a post of sarcasm but all I know is that these people that is rich is not that stupid to stop and only rely on Bitcoin and other crypto currencies. It is obvious that they also have a lot of other investments and that is not only Bitcoin. If you will be asking me, they may suffer a loss this time but I know they are taking this opportunity to buy again since the price now is getting higher and higher.
Probably he thinks people who are investing in bitcoin are newbies, everyone has been in the system, they have learnt a lot from the past and would not just jump into investment without getting a clear signal, they all know that bitcoin price will always go up and down, but the confidence in Bitcoin is higher than any other investment, because bitcoin has never remain stagnant for too long.

I was in a bank today and I over head the banker’s conversation with a customer, asking if he has opened a particular product of the bank, the man flared up and said he is even planning to close down his account because the share he bought with them since 1986 has yet grown or him being able to even have access to it, that I almost 30 years man, has bitcoin ever delayed even more than 5 years in rewarding its holder?
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Bearish or Bullish? Here my thoughts: APRIL UPDATE on: May 04, 2019, 12:57:43 PM
Well believe we are pointing more in the bullish direction especially with the upcoming bitcoin halving which would reduce the block rewards hence the daily amount of bitcoin being generated daily. This would definitely bring about an increase in price and also the further development of ligtining network which seeks to increase the transaction speed of bitcoin.

All these factors to me are pointing in the right direction of a bull run soon. For those who think we are still going to hit the bottom, they should just watch bitcoin rise in no time. Holding some bitcoins at the moment and waiting for the bull market at any point in time.
People who has been waiting for BTC to go bearish again has been doing so for a long term and yet they are not getting their request, recently that the price of bitcoin dropped to about $5100, many these losers  still speculated that the price is falling to $4500, thinking many people will panic and sell for their unrealistic prediction to become realistic, but bitcoin has turned around to start increasing again, this shoes that the present BULL is the market holds a very strong position to sustain the price of BTC above $5000 and I think from this point is when it will continue to grow till we hit the bull run.
Huge number of big whales are always looking for most of the peoples o panic sell their coins which will create a perfect dip to but any of the coin and at that time those big whales can buy most of the coins to hold until the price rises above.

It is our role not to listen over to such rumors and to keep holding our coins even in the situation of panic because the cryptocurrency markets would surely show us huge growth in the coming markets considering the ever rising demand for them.

Price for bitcoins have now crossed $5600 so we can now expect a higher price to be reached by the end of this month. Bull run is on the way and most of the peoples including me were been waiting for these bullish markets to arrive.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Coins with huge ICO price on: May 03, 2019, 03:31:18 PM
I think good or not a project cannot be seen from the cheap or expensive initial price of the token / coin, because there are also many projects that have expensive but successful token prices on the market, and vice versa the price of cheap tokens is destroyed in the market
I have never participated in any ICO with huge start up price because most of them are the ones encouraging investors and hunters to dump the price because of its huge profit when they get to the market, so if I am investing in a project for long term reason, I would look at ICO with low price.

You are also right, we should not to view a project as being successful from the side of it price, the price are just mere decisions from the project developers and not a product of the project itself. We just have rely more on the worth of the project technically and how its existence in future can be guaranteed.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will you stake your token to make profit? on: May 03, 2019, 11:59:09 AM
Recently staking gains great popularity in crypto market, especially among wallet users. Some wallets claim that you can get extra 7-150% token if you choose to stake your token in their wallet. What on earth is staking? I wrote sth about staking on medium.https://medium.com/@rockminer/staking-another-new-way-to-make-money-in-crypto-aabf58143bb7

Here is the thing: will you choose to stake your token to make profit?
One must explore multiple sources of income to really make it in this cryptocurrency situation now, if the project offering the stakes is a reliable one, then I will stake my tokes but not all, I will just see it a another opportunity to make money based on interest.

This is the strategy I have learnt from one of my mentor, I will not just completely put my total tokens into stake, I will hold some for long, trade with some and still stake some, although staking has a minimum amount, I think for DASH Masternode is 1000, so I also consider the cost of the toke too before deciding if I will stake my token or not, but it is really worth it if I have the opportunity to do so.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Limit your participation in IEO on exchanges that you trust on: May 03, 2019, 09:43:38 AM
Isn't the spirit of cryptocurrency about decentralization, where do you not trust third parties? It would be best if you do not trust big name exchanges. Always do your research and be prepared! Even Binance could potentially scam you. FYI Binance is running around to avoid regulation.
An exchange like Binance has really done all their possible best to proof to us that they can be trust and yet, we are still against their services. If they get regulated, will they not pass the effect of it to their users?

The benefit of having to trade with very little fee will no longer be there as government will place very big tax on them which they will also pass on to their users. So what they did is to also fulfill the why cryptocurrency was created, no third party involvement, the same way you have advise for us not to trust exchange involvement, is the same way Binance too do not trust government involvement.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: May 03, 2019, 09:02:09 AM
https://news.yahoo.com/cryptocurrency-thefts-fraud-hit-1-211446327.html

In Q1 alone of 2019 there was $356m in theft of digital currencies from exchanges and scams while losses from fraud hit 851m. This number includes the QuadrigaX scam which accounts to about $134m in total losses.

What can we do to help stop these from happening and getting worse?
Not rely to the centralized exchange site and DYOR. A lot of the funds have come from the centralized exchange site that getting hacked or something like that and basically that's bullshit. We should move to the decentralized exchange site and that should be the best thing that we can do now
It is very easy to say DYOR when you and I both know that it is not so easy to do, when we say DYOR, what exactly do we always imagine? How else will they do research other than simply basing their judgment on whitepaper, and if  they succeed in communicating with the project team that would have even given them the assurance that they are on the right path, it is not a guarantee that they will still not be scammed.

Scammers nowadays do not have to run  away with your money to get you scam, they come up with great projects and even get listed, but use the strategy of dumping the coins of these fake project don the market , so that people will eventually forget about it.
38  Economy / Economics / Re: Craig Wright sues a podcaster for saying Craight Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto on: May 03, 2019, 08:32:55 AM
I thought Wright has taken lessons from the backlash he got from exchanges for been an imposter and trying to fight the truth. It seems the government and the banks are the one backing Craig Wright otherwise he knows fully well that he is not Satoshi. If he was, he would have been very honorable in his character and speak less.
I don’t think he has got any lesson from what happened to him last, the whole furore end up making him more courageous, have you seen BSV lately, even the almighty Binance could not keep the guy’s mouth shut, does a fool knows that he is a fool? Since he chose to be a fool. Let him continue in his foolishness.

People who are in the crypto space are not dullards for them to toss around as they wish, so the best would just be to see whatever they say or do, ignore it and let it go. I am sure whatever case he is dragging with the podcaster; the court will dismiss it if they have not even dismissed it by now.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoins - What will happens to BTC on: May 03, 2019, 07:38:06 AM
The world met cryptocurrency and i believe there is no turning back. So it won’t collapse. The future of BTC is very bright and i’m with those who think that btc price will be increasing in time.
Lol, actually I believe that cryptocurrency met us in this world, because the whole crypto thing started 2008 when satoshi came up with the idea, but we are ready to assist cryptocurrency or satoshi achieve his dream of making cryptocurrency the major alternative payment system to that of cash. So I am among people that would not give up on Bitcoin and believe that they future of Bitcoin is very bright.

No matter the number of project that also comes out in the future to copy the system of bitcoin, bitcoin will always be the most reliable ones and will last longer in the market than the clone ones.
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do u think will happen 100 years or 1000 years from now on: May 03, 2019, 07:03:05 AM
I would not even think so far to 100 years,,, 10 years is impossible to predict. As smart as all the guys were behind Bitcoin, I am sure none of them could predict that BTC would be here today, that crypto would be so big and so controversial. They tried new money many times before BTC and none of them took off the way BTC did.

I am not even sure Bitcoin will be around in 100 years. Maybe it becomes something else, maybe something better replaces it?
When Gold was first introduced, I am sure there will be so many people by then that would not see the possibility of gold going this far, and many people will say the same thing of not being alive to know what will happen then, but those who took the step to acquire some gold based on what it will becomes in many years to come is what some generations that will never become our again are enjoying now.

100 years is too far for us to know about the future of Bitcoin, but no one knows, we might think BTC will not exist again but end up being like GOLD, we might not be alive again, but what will our future generator remember of us?
