21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I want to ask, at the end of the bitcoin and altcoin year, will the price go up on: December 08, 2022, 06:36:03 AM
I think we may end this year around 19-20k dollars level because of issues with FTX and Gemini. NFT markets seem rather dying or dead. Lending business is getting uncommon. Most people prefer trading methods (like shorting or buying low selling high) to make money instead investing and believing in a project. I actually expected at least tiny bull run to start at the start of winter but I regretted now. Although if we look at brighter side, markets are in "extreme fear" levels so best time to buy some coins.
I do agree that 20k could be a cap for what we could do this year, but that is not a bad cap at all, it would be a good cap if you ask me. I am not saying that it would be that much of a trouble or not a trouble but it wouldn't be a bad situation at all.

I feel like the best thing to do would be making sure that life is a lot better by the time year ends by growing. That type of momentum could have some impact on January and that January could impact February as well, it is a domino effect. So, just keep on growing bigger and bigger, even if it is just 500 dollars, just keep on growing, so that the future would grow bigger exponentially thanks to that.
I disagree with that, not because we can't go to 20k, but also we can't just limit it. This months biggest price could be 18k, it could be 25k, it could be 25k and then drop to 18k as well, anything could happen in crypto world. Like for example if you try to decide on just this month, then you are more likely to be wrong than right.

Like I said, there is nothing stopping bitcoin from going to 25k first, and then go down to like 17k all over again and this is even likely, we could talk about even as high as going to 30k, and crashing to under current prices as well, all quite possible. This is what we should be wondering about most of the times.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 16, 2022, 09:28:10 PM
At the other side, Marseille have the same important too because left 3 points behind Lorient and PSG can be the same if success win from PSG tonight, I think most competitive later if Marseille can win from PSG and position until third standing place will have the 26 points.
The gap between PSG and Marseille is just three points. If Marseille can win today's match, the Marseille team will have a chance to go to the top of the table. Some important players like Ramos, Nuno Mendes, and Kimpembe will be missing in today's match. If Marseille plays attacking and manages to score the first goal of the match, they have a chance to earn points.
PSG earned full three points from a hard fought match against Marseille and now with this defeat they are dropped to fourth spot behind Lorient and Lens with gape is widened from three points to six points and now in next match they are going to fight against another big performer of this season Lens which is having poor away form but still this is not going to be easy match for them, they are also already on two losing streaks.

There were good chances for both teams to score goals but sadly both fail to do this, and we have just one goal which is also special as today Mbappé assist to Neymar for doing goal which can end feuds reports which are currently circulating around social media.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 05, 2022, 01:19:00 PM
Ten Hag don't need Rashford? It's funny when you say you don't need it but it always fills the main line up every game lol.

At the moment Rashford is very good and a few months ago he said he wanted to leave but with his current position I quite doubt he will leave Manchester United especially Ten Hag has said very clearly that they (Manchester United) will never sell Rashford.

Regardless of how Manchester United are performing at the moment, I still doubt he will want to leave in the transfer market.
Marcus Rashford will further honed his prowess, if he plays at other big clubs such as PSG or Real Madrid.  if he leaves Old Trafford, his career will shine even more. however, what is certain is that until now Ten Hag still desperately need Rashford's services and make him the main starter compared to Ronaldo in the premier league.
some rumors link him with several other big clubs and one of the clubs that are interested in him is PSG, although so I'm not sure Manchester United will let him go. because after all Rashford's contract is still valid until the summer of 2023 at Manchester United.
So far, Rashford is committed to staying loyal to wearing the Red Devil jersey.
He is not enough for United, and for all purposes sake, none of the players in United is enough for United except just a few. I still find De Gea fine, but could be replaced with a younger keeper, Sancho is fine, a few others, but rest needs to change very badly.

They are spending so much money and buying basically nobody, they need to reconsider the transfer methods they have, otherwise it's going to keep being a terrible season for them and they will keep on being hated by their own fans for a long time. They are doing "fine" except this game, they are not terrible like at the start of the season, but they are still not doing fine enough for sure.
24  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin doesn't like high inflation either on: August 18, 2022, 03:32:49 PM
So, at this point, can we start thinking that, looking alone at the price and not usage or adoption or anything else, a good economy with lower inflation and constant economic growth is far better than the recessions, bloodbaths, economical wars that were supposed to bring the price to 1 million a piece since every starved jobless zombie would buy coins?
I bet that people would still think that any calamity is good for Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is against fiat and governments. So if something hurts them, then it's good for Bitcoin. The previous narrative before the "hedge against inflation" was "global currency that will replace fiat and banks", and that narrative is still present in Bitcoin circles.
Is that the same to those who said that covid 19 and wars is good for btc? Because, they believe it did affected its price in a positive way because of how it worked like people are forced to stay at home and governments are requesting for a donation in the form of btc and other cryptos. They only think about the price but they forget its negative effects to the society.

It is possible for btc become a hedge against inflation because of its unique characteristics but for it to replace fiats and banks? No I don't think so. These narratives are only two of the many that bitcoin circles are using in order to motivate themselves and the others.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 15, 2022, 11:33:32 AM
I haven't made any bets, but my prediction have come true. The third match is being won by West Indies. In today's match the bowling, batting and everything seems to be perfect with West Indies. As the opening is quite strong, the win became an easy thing. New Zealand wins the series 2-1, but the win from West Indies says they've got something for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
For the upcoming T20 World Cup, it is important to avoid the sweep and optimize. There is a lot of uncertainty with West Indies. Recent losses have been by large margins. It is now also a big margin that they won with. While West Indies' victory was a big boost for World cricket, there is yet more to come from the Caribbean.
Board policies and conflict with Sr players are clearly hitting them, and they are still not doing any positive movement for solving these issues which is the worst thing happening in this one of the best team in cricket history even I read Russel and Narain still wants to play for team but something wired happening which is preventing them from joining this team change the fortunes which are essential for them and their better future.

In last T-20 New Zealand were not doing their best because they already won the series and just do this all stuff for practice which give a consolation win for home team and good one because now they can feel much better after hammering by India and now New Zealand at home I am feeling this is surely the worst ever season for them with these results.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 24, 2022, 09:31:40 PM
Guys who else has this feeling that Real Madrid may likely win the Spanish La Liga again next season, we all know that Real Madrid close rivals are Atlético Madrid and FC Barcelona but right now Real Madrid has a better team in terms of players, and what still amazes me is that Real Madrid is still the most active amongst them in the market, Real Madrid are not only building a team for the present they are cement a start studded Future and this might keep them top of Spanish football for a long time, I have more love for Barcelona and I would like to see them get busy in the market and hopefully lewandoski can come in.
Even it is early but any result is possible because in last season we have some unusual things happen like Barcelona were in disaster in early half of season and Real Madrid take good advantage of this even Sevilla were in hunt, but sadly they fail and have nothing at the end of season with Barcelona fight back and take second position but now as things are going no one can give prediction about next season Barcelona is having financial problems, but they are still having some exciting players those can bring hard challenge for defending champions, but Real Madrid is also had very competitive squad which can give good performance in all conditions as we watch in last season they complete double which was not expected from them with presence of some very strong teams in European challenge.

Anyone in Bitcointalk have some experience with table tournament?

Looks fun for this tournament, maybe we have a winners from Bitcointalk. Looking forward for how this free-roll tournament work in Blackjack Fun. Not bad to get a free money, In case you win the tournament.

First time to see a casino have this promotion.
Do you mean Freeroll table tournament? I participate few times but I didn't pursue joining anymore due to conflict in my personal schedule. The game is same like the in-house blackjack which you will battle one on one with the house. There is a just a leader board to see every participants points until the clock ends. I think this tournament will be more fun if the battle will be place under 1 table just like evolution gaming live blackjack table that all players can interact and see each other hands. This will be a cool feature of the house game if they allow to play multiple player in one table.
It is also usually pretty crowded which means that you should not be considering anything that would be requiring more money than you have because there is actually quite good argument over the fact that there are some people who spend more than they should.

This is why I believe that we should be careful about how much we are spending, doesn't mean that we can't spend any money at all, of course you can and you can even be high in that leaderboard if 1- you have the money for it 2- you win something and it gets prolonged. Otherwise, just because you want to be there doesn't mean that you should be spending the money that you shouldn't just to get listed.
29  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Little Surprised! on: April 14, 2022, 09:18:51 PM
bitcoin price is currently bearish and is at $40k with resistance between $38k and $48k. I think bitcoin is playing between the same markets in the last few weeks. do we expect bitcoin to penetrate new ATH within this year, I think with the current market war conditions it is a bit difficult to penetrate new ATH, but take advantage of short term investment opportunities to look for fantastic profits.
I wouldn't say bearish, people throw in the word bearish too quickly, literally in the last 30 days we were under this price, just because we had a small increase during this period and went back to where we were doesn't mean that we are in a bearish movement. It just happened to be going from 38k to 48k to 40k, that is something that happens in crypto and nothing extraordinary.

I know that it is not a big deal and I know that we should be seeing this as a regular thing but at the end of the day it is not bearish, it is just normal. I get that you may be upset that the price went low, I am not happy about it neither, but do not feel pessimistic about it neither.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 14, 2022, 09:08:39 AM
Crypto can't survive without a bear market, if not everything will remain at one spot and no reason to invest anymore what is the best strategy to prepare for a bear market and at the same time keep making a profit from the present market condition.
First I would like to point out that the bear market is not something that we all could tell when it’s going to happen, it’s mostly unpredictable and it just happens and there would be nothing you can do about it. So, the best way that you can prepare yourself for the bear market is by being prepared right from time even at the best moment.

When the market is profitable (bullish) most of the people forgets how risky it can be, they feel way relaxed and not minding the fact that the crypto market is volatile. That’s why they would invest much of their savings into it and when the price dips, they start to regret. So learn to be prepared ahead of time by taking your investment slowly.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Little Surprised! on: April 14, 2022, 08:41:56 AM
Look, the market is not just dependent on bitcoin news for its movements.

The macro outlook is grim with high inflation and rising interest rates expected on the horizon - which is why people are pulling out of risk-on assets. Bitcoin just got caught in this headwind.

I honestly am not sure why people are overreacting so much to it since Bitcoin is literally the best inflation hedge you can ask for, though. Oh well, buying opportunity presents itself.
People are overreacting because they are overleveraged in crypto that is why. They got into crypto with money they shouldn't, and they do not have patience to wait it out neither and that is why it doesn't end up being regular reactions and that is why you see plenty of people who react crazily over smallest of movements.

Bitcoin goes up 10% and suddenly everyone thinks that it will be 70k, and it goes down 10% and everyone thinks it may go down under 30k, those huge reactions are because they are stressed about it, they are either scared or excited whenever it moves and that is mainly because they have money that they shouldn't have put into crypto.
32  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is going on ? In crypto ? on: April 14, 2022, 05:35:36 AM
based on number of project build, its really growth and we see everyday new project occur in market now. scam or qualified project keep appear and as investors we have to analize them correctly  without any big mistake that could make our money loss. the same way will happen in our daily trades, analizing project that should buy or sell is a must
I agree crypto growth is booming. In fact, I think every week there is at least more than one token that is created. Whether it's a good token project or just looking for a momentary profit. So at least you need to consider by doing various analyzes about the right coin choice. I think if you want it to be easier, you can simply choose coins and tokens that have been around for a long time and have real-world uses. For example ETH or BNB.
Having so many coins being created in the market doesn’t mean that the market is booming. And moreover not every coins that are being created in the market that are booming, so many of them that are being created are just fake projects and there are even lots of dead projects that you will find and scammers are steady looking for investors to prey on.

Just a few coins are worth it in the market, just like we have Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the rest of the top coins in the market that are very much reliable, they are the only coins in the market that are booming.
33  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short term investment suggestion on: April 14, 2022, 04:58:05 AM
Guys, any suggestions for short-term investment?
is your bet big? if your bet is big choose Bitcoin or Etherum. because based on price movements will always occur every day. You should do an analysis for the downtrend, so that you can open your first trade. but this is too risky, if you are ready with the risk then do as you wish.
Maybe he should start trading? That’s the only way that he can be making money on a short term, at least he would be sure of some good profit by the end of the month if he should play his game very well. But, trading is not easy, he’s also going to stand a risk of being the one who’s losing money in the market instead of making profit.

So, it’s all risk. Or he can just invest in bitcoin and Ethereum like you have said and hope to see increase in whatever period he has set for the investment. Lower market cap coins may have a better chance of doing 10x and more of the investment, but at the same time they are riskier. BTC and ETH are safe options.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: April 14, 2022, 04:29:27 AM
I agree with the opinion that Real's victory is a mentality thing. They have shown it time and time again - whenever you think they are beaten, they start playing their best football. What to say about Modrić though? That outside foot pass for Benzema is out of this world.

I kinda felt Villarreal might be problematic for Bayern - I said it here as well after the draw. Liverpool will be really happy with their draw - fortune favors us this season.

We might get to the CL final over Inter, Benfica and Villarreal - you cannot have it any easier. But let's first do our jobs tonight - although I feel there is a 0% chance of a Benfica upset.
I agree that Modric and Benzema score was amazing. I still can't believe that they turned it around from 3-0 that easily after that minute, when I see the third goal and it was 70+ minutes in, I assumed they would lose and Chelsea would go further. This shows that you should never give up on Real, they are a team that is capable of scoring at any moment, and they will mainly do that as well.

Bayern deal was a bit disappointing, to me Bayern has been very terrible all season whenever I wagered on them, they kept me losing money all the time, whatever small amount I won, always ended up lost in the end. I keep telling myself I won't again but I still do.
35  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamdom.com - 3 Million+ users - Jackpots, Rains - unique games modes on: April 13, 2022, 06:45:15 PM
It will be a question of what really happened, every day gamdom twitter account always posts big wins of other players
So when someone win 4-5 BTC withdrawal cannot be processed? if for no reason of course the credibility of gamdom is being questioned
I'm not sure Gamdom has trouble paying 4-5 BTC they have funds it's just that the admin doesn't explain the problem.
I don't see this as a problem in anyway, though it involve a large amount of money but i think it has been addressed already and we need to understand that payment works base on the programing done on the system just to avoid an error that could cost alots, you can imagine playing on a local bet and you win big, they won't initiate your payment not until you make appearance, well that does not applies here i think but we just need to understand the system adhered to protocols set.
Withdrawal is not like a permanent, forever type of problem. It is just something that they had for a short period and that is the end of it. Hot wallet is a big problem or casinos, if they keep the hot wallet filled according to the richest gambler then they would have to constantly risk hundreds of thousands of dollars at any given moment. This means security risk and they would not be favoring that for sure.

I believe that current situation is a lot better, they know what they are doing and they will give you whatever you want, either very quickly if it is low amount, or a bit later if it is a lot of money but in the end you will always get your money.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins will explode in 2022? on: April 13, 2022, 06:12:32 PM
Which of these coins have the highest chance to 3x, 5x or even 10x in 2022? You can vote twice.

I am kind of curious about the development of ApeCoin (had a rough start though).
All of the above? Aside from a few ones, I am guessing that we are going to see stuff that will be quite good, the market being high is the main reason for that and I believe that it will continue to be like that for a long time as well.

The best part about it is the fact that crypto is not just limited to one project, when bitcoin goes up, ethereum goes up too, and bnb goes up too, and others goes up too. There will be a few that will not go up, and that is understandable because you can't have 100% of them go up, there will be some that faces some situation and that will result with bad stuff in the long run. Its mainly if the market is up, "almost" all of them will be up.
37  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting more skills in trading on: April 13, 2022, 06:02:07 PM
I am currently learning trading and other aspect of crypto so I can fit in when it comes to crypto world. I really appreciate every articles/posts I've read here that had made me keep going. Actually I decided to drop these topics(Technical aspect) I've covered in my trading classes maybe it can help someone here that might be looking for something to ready on, to better their knowledge in trading.
One of the best ones that I have seen so far has been the method where people learn how to use trading bots. These days trading bots already have indicators that they use, so you need to learn about trading and what to use and what to care, and then you learn about parameters to put them, like let's say you want to use Bollinger band, but at what level you want to buy and at what level you want to sell.

You arrange the trading bot that way, and it will trade accordingly based on what you have given it. You do this with like ALL the projects you want on multiple exchanges, meaning you will be able to trade 100+ pairs all at once. Not always working, but it is certainly not a bad idea neither.
38  Economy / Economics / Re: My secret about been here on crypto and financial market on: April 13, 2022, 03:51:48 PM
Lets be honest chevking charts and try to guess what comes next is gamble.
What's the sense of checking charts if you're not analyzing them and just trying to guess. Well if that's what you've been doing then you really are gambling on it.
You get? Lol, most of them think that it is a gamble when they don’t understand or knows how to analyse it, so when they look at the chart they are pretty much guessing what would be the next move, and that makes it a gambling on their side. But, those who understands how it works knows that it is not gambling, there is hard work involved when it comes to reading the chart, it is not something that you just have look at and guess, you dig into it.

Although it’s still normal to follow events, because I do see some people (especially long term investors) who just follow the events to make their decision, but they do this because they don’t know how to analyse charts.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold , Silver Or Crypto? on: April 13, 2022, 03:06:46 PM
Many financial advisors suggest gold , silver and cryptocurrencies as the best investment for this decade! what do you think?
As a licensed financial advisor I don’t agree with the above statement. The vast majority of financial advisors, including myself, recommend that one’s portfolio always have a “backbone” built with traditional investments such as mutual funds and or ETFs. Depending on if your portfolio is on track for retirement and if you’ve got extra funds to invest, then buying hedges (not necessarily investments) such as gold and silver can be a good idea and buying bitcoin works for the portion of speculative investments in one’s portfolio.
I do agree with you because I wondering which financial advisor would advise someone to go for Bitcoin, Gold and Silver, I know for sure that Mutual funds and ETFs were the most recommended.

I do invest in mutual funds anyway, but one thing I would say is that you don’t really get much from it; on average I might be getting 9% per annum, which is small compared to cryptocurrency where I can possibly make double of my investment and more. But, mutual funds are more of a safer investment because they are stable, while cryptocurrency is a high risk investment type.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto becoming centralized? on: April 13, 2022, 05:44:38 AM
Do you think ever-increasing centralization is a cause of concern? What would be the impact of tightening regulations over the entire crypto/Blockchain space? Will it still be able to survive? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
according to those who have heard from the information, basically some crypto is classified as a truly centralized crypto, I also thought that only bitcoin and ethereum were truly decentralized. and there may also be several factors that appear to be crypto-centralized including the one I mentioned earlier namely bitcoin.

let's all hope that decentralized platforms will continue to exist and develop well, and be able to compete with centralized platforms because otherwise we will know what happened maybe crypto will slowly fall or can be said to collapse.

even if many large companies adopt, we will also not be able to escape it because the government is still in control of the company and its people. but still they don't have full control, they're just going to collect the taxes here.
Even ethereum is not really "truly" decentralized. In a way it is technologically decentralized, but there are tons o them out there if we consider that as decentralization. The problem is that Vitalik is still holding so much power, whatever he aims at would become a reality because people approve of it, like this eth 2.0 for example, he wants to do that and everyone accept it and we are going to have it.

I am not saying it is a bad idea, it is a good idea and I would accept it as well but that doesn't mean that it is not a problem when he does whatever he wants to and we all accept it. We will see how it is decentralized when one day Vitalik wants to go one direction and everyone says no.
