With 1080 Tis better mine ZCash since they are very good there and sell them to buy another crypto-currency if you do not believe in ZCash. Ethereum is for me a great option on short-term.

Even though I have no particular positive opinions toward MobileGo and GameCredits and would have sent their value in Ethereum or Ethereum Classic, you have a very diversified portofolio, with good holdings in good altcoins. If you are running MSI afterburner, close it (using the "X") after the miner starts, I have a rig of 1060 and afterburner caused my rig to freeze, also, if you run less than 4 GPU's, try using EVGA Precision XOC.
My first rig with 6x Palit GTX 1060 3GB works fine even with the afterburner running. I also already tried running without the afterburner and without undervolting and overclocking but still the same issue. Also, I use ethminer version for 1060, got it from here http://cryptomining-blog.com/8852-new-optimized-ethminer-for-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1060-gpus/ . It gives me +6% hashrate more than Claymore. Can you tell me the speed 1060 3GB can hash? Thank you! About 22 MH/s on Ethereum and 300 sols/s on ZCash. A pretty good card if you can manage to get the hand on one that is not overpriced due to the mining crazyness. |

If something is solely on YoBit then it is a scam. About anything on Poloniex is safe according to me, except maybe Bitcoin Plus and the very low volume altcoins. On Bittrex this is a bit more the jungle, so see on Coinmarketcap if the altcoin you are buying is worth or not. The greater is its rank the safer it is according to me.

I think that as long as you have a true project, really interesting, there is no mandatory steps. Anything else is just marketing, and just helps increasing the visibility of the project. Even if you do not have a platform to invest you can use sites such as Bittrex.

I would not go personally all in. Stratis is being praised here and there by about anyone but frankly I have no idea of what it is. My personal advice would be for you to buy at least four different crypto-currencies, if possible not too close from each other. Also, I have the feeling, but that may be just my personal belief and it could not be true, that any major crypto-currency will increase in value in the coming years, so you could go for about anything.

Anyway Ethereum mining will totally stop with the PoS transition in a few months, so that will not change a lot of things I think. Miners should not wait too much to sell their rigs if they want to not end up having useless AMD GPUs just good to mine Ethereum. |

I would go for Waves because Sasha managed to do the same thing than Vitalik did with Ethereum : making it cool. Sasha is doing lots of conferences, while a solid technology is being built by its team. So go with it. However aim the very long-term !

Of course this is a joke ! Instead wander in the announcement altcoin section and try to spot a just released altcoin in which you believe.

If Ethereum surpasses 1000$, of course I will be very glad, but for now I see no reason why it would reach such a high price, except if Bitcoin price climbs a lot. However seeing it returning to its ATH, circa 400$, would of course do not surprise me.
