21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: April 30, 2023, 11:03:05 PM
I'm 70% sure that altcoins are the top choice for investing,
in my opinion one of the right reasons is that altcoins are able to generate much bigger profits than Bitcoin,
lots of altcoins have gone up 100% in this bear market, while Bitcoin is still trying to recover,
yes, this is the difference that we can see, it is from that difference that many people prefer altcoins.
You have to review the movement patterns of all altcoins and not just look at the top gainers every day, many of the worst altcoins are because bitcoin conditions don't recover from corrections, so investor interest in investing in altcoins has decreased because of the rush effect of the altcoin scam even though it has been listed on top exchnge, so don't just choose altcoins because only a few altcoins are up 100% because of the hype news, but think about safe investments for long term investment.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is $30 dollars worth starting bitcoin? on: April 29, 2023, 02:47:05 PM
That depends. Does the person with 30 dollars want to make more money in the near future or does he need the 30 dollars right now for something important, like paying his bills or buying food?

If the 30 dollars are completely unneeded and can be invested then he is wasting time by not buying Bitcoin and letting that Bitcoin sit in his wallet for at least a few years.

Realistically he could see that 30 dollars become 300 dollars within a couple of years. Maybe even less, depending on how well the market is doing and what kind of adoption rate Bitcoin is experiencing.

Either way, not investing in Bitcoin is definitely a lost opportunity, from my perspective. 30 Dollars definitely is not below the minimum amount you can invest.
You are right, the investment amount of $30 is not below the minimum value for beginners who want to invest in bitcoin, because it is useless for you to invest $1000 even higher if you do not have a strategy and knowledge of market performance, so make sure the investment money is not money needed for shopping and other needs , So make sure $30 amount for long term investment for high profit and you have to be patient enough to buy BTC at lower price during market correction so you will get higher profit in future.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advise to a friend on: April 29, 2023, 02:37:26 PM
If he is really open about crypto investment, then it's easy to convince him without actually telling him directly to buy Bitcoin although he already had a bad experience with altcoins. You can discuss him about Bitcoin (and you've mentioned that he's already aware that it's not a get rich quick scheme, he probably have understand Bitcoin). But instead of persuading him to buy Bitcoin (cause it might sound like an investment scheme), tell him that he can study about it by himself and decide whether he wants to risk some of his savings or not. Don't force your friend if he decided not to. But if he decided to invest and asked you for some advice then it's good.
The key word is never to persuade and force other people to invest in bitcoin because market prices fluctuate very risky that prices don't match expected speculation, so we can only share knowledge about bitcoin with anyone, but if it's related to investment it must be based on individual decisions because they have to be responsible take responsibility for their own investment. If any of my friends ask for advice, they always recommend the DCA investment strategy to avoid losses due to market corrections and at least he has to buy when the price drops above 15% of the current price.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What things do you study while choosing a wallet? on: April 29, 2023, 02:13:34 PM
A closed source, custodial where I don't have full control over my coins, less feature, fixed fee, charge additional fee to make the developer rich, and the one which fresh newly created wallet Cheesy
Most liked comment section, I love the way you responded to this thread and made Op think about your comment, definitely closed source wallets are highly discouraged and custodians, we should have full access to our wallet managed and no third parties involved.

I mean, what's need to discussed anymore? you don't need to create a new thread, just use search engine and you will many thread talking about good wallets. Many users already keep repeating electrum, bluewallet and hardware wallet, just pick one or use them all that's fit for you.
We already have a lot of similar threads on the software wallet section as well as beginners and help, so use the search feature to find discussions that have already been discussed so there are no threads on the same topic.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Shiba inu get to $1 on: April 29, 2023, 01:53:47 PM
We don't gaslight those that think that it's possible because it's not.

Someone has to be realistic with how they see things with such projects. You don't see the supply? Well, that will speak a lot if it has the potential that it will be $1 or not.

We need to accept that fact that those who owns shiba and hopes of it going to $1, it won't.
Many people expect SHIB to drastically increase in the bullrun period but the price prediction speculation must be realistic because the $1 price is very impossible even though the meme coin bullish trend, so whatever meme coin don't expect too high speculation but you can only trade short term it is very trending meme coin is popular, trading strategy meme coin is already hit low profit target and take profit.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favourite MEME COINS? on: April 26, 2023, 06:00:52 PM
yes, it's true that not everyone wants to invest in memecoin, I myself am also uncomfortable if my money is in memecoin,
because there are so many like Floki or BabyDoge, because the risk of losing capital is very large if you are there,
so my advice is to stay away from memecoin as much as possible .
I only trust Doge and Shib coins for the meme coin category, but only have shibs from previous trades to focus on long term target investment, I don't really expect high prices to be achieved because meme coin's upward momentum is only temporary when bullish news is released, so I have determined target profit of 50% if the price of shib increases, even though the price of doge and shib coins is relatively stable but I am optimistic that there is definitely potential for the coin to go back bullish in the future.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sui TokenSale on Bybit, OKX and Kucoin? on: April 26, 2023, 05:50:57 PM
SUI team has been trying so hard to remove the bots on bybit, there are so many farmed accounts being qualified to participated in the allowlist. i have seen that massive ban happened with so many people. They were complaining in the support section of sui discord.
Im not seeing a signal for binance to listing sui. This gonna be anothere interesting thing whether the price will be so high after the launch of token in the market.
The Bybit team should be able to handle bots if they require every account to be KYC required so only verified accounts can enter the token sale program, but I'm actually expecting binance to handle that but there's no indication they'll be releasing a SUI launchpad program, but I do believe SUI is very potential to be traded on binance after completion of token sale.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Doge worth investing? on: April 26, 2023, 05:36:31 PM
In the past, no one really thought that just a meme coin like Doge could rise very high, but now it seems that the memecoin trend has died, although not completely, especially if you hope that Doge will reach an all time high again, it will be very difficult. in conclusion investing in doge coin is not what it used to be, but of course there is still a possibility and be wise in investing
Doge coin still has hopes of recovering to reach at least half of the previous ATH price, the position of the 8th best coin and the influence of news on twitter will have a positive impact on doge coin in the future, the potential for a significant increase is very likely to occur again when the news section is released, but you should consider investing in meme coins because of the high risk that your investment should last for the long term.

30  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: March 13, 2023, 07:21:30 PM
They know that inflation will kill the value of their wealth eventually so instead of saving all of their money in the bank, they set aside what's for savings and what's more for investing.

That's the reason why many of them becomes richer every time there's an opportunity to invest and they do it without any doubt.

They only take time to assess the risk if it's okay for them and that's it, as long as they know what they invest in, there's no other call for it and they spread it as much as they do to lessen its risks.
Saving at a bank will not provide benefits other than the interest offered by the bank, but when the impact of inflation causes the value of the currency to drop and we have to buy anything at a higher price. So it's better that most of your funds are diverted to gold and crypto investments, I have both for future assets and the impact when the two increase, we will see satisfactory asset values because the value of our assets will continue to increase.
31  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: March 13, 2023, 07:13:07 PM
One of the major factor of why some people stay poor could be attributed to the poor management of resources at there home country particularly in country where their leaders are corrupt due to embezzlement of funds that will make a lot of poor people to become rich unfortunately fell into few hands, funds can be allocated for massive infrastructural development which can be contracted to people who will execute those projects in the process become rich or dispose to people in form of loans for investment which in turn would yield massive profits for the investors is another way of becoming rich.
I agree with your statement, the country has abundant natural resources and agricultural products, especially in tropical parts of the country, but because of bad management and officials who only enrich themselves by taking advantage of positions in government, they make rules and do not care about the impact on society. The saddest thing is that they have failed to prosper the people and demand that the people pay taxes on time, so the poverty factor is also influenced by the impact of the government because they do not create jobs and there are no welfare programs for the people, they also corrupt social assistance funds which should be distributed to the people.
32  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: March 13, 2023, 01:52:35 AM
These are some reasons why people stay poor;
 - lack of motivation - they are contented with what they have today
 - laziness - there are a lot of opportunities around but they are prepared not to look at them rather than just sitting
 - mindset

I don't put education as a reason because we can still be rich without this as long as we work hard and find ways. In fact, running a business without education is still possible to succeed. Generally, it is really all about how we make ourselves to improve but we keep those things I've mentioned above, certainly nothing will happen to us.
Good point, some people are not motivated to fulfill their dreams and they don't work hard to achieve those goals to improve economic factors, so laziness triggers people to not try to change their life.

The education factor is not a barrier for anyone to become rich and I have seen the fact in my environment that people with high school education can also be successful after they work hard for their future.
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Planning avoids unnecessary expenses on: March 06, 2023, 08:25:20 PM
Any unforeseen event cannot be planned actually but you can always chose to plan on how to deal with it by reserving some emergency funds intended to be used only for unexpected case or event. That way, you won’t be struggling looking for money when that emergency case suddenly arise. And I guess in all aspects of our life, we can always chose to plan for them, but we cannot plan on how those sudden events may affect us.
Savings for emergency needs must be in financial management, because we cannot predict when funds will be needed. If we save for at least a year, we already have some savings for emergency needs. We have to get used to saving and we have to get rid of extravagance because in this era of crisis it is very difficult to get a job and we have to take advantage of the current job to increase savings during retirement in the future.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: Are people really having the wrong concept of savings? on: March 06, 2023, 07:45:15 PM
For so long I have had this wrong concept about saving I maintained this concept until I read an article that explains another concept of serving which the author of the article claimed was the real concept of saving. In hat article, he explained that no one should save without a purpose; for instance if you want to buy a car in the next 2 years you begin today to save some dollars which will sum up to some certain amount of money you will need to buy the car by the two years time. If you want to own a house of $120k, you would begin to save 200 500 or 1000 dollars until your money is up to 120 thousand dollars, then use it to acquire a house. He said this is the correct concept
We still have to save for future needs even though we don't have specific goals to buy luxury goods, motorbikes, houses or other things but when economic needs are urgent then we already have enough savings, but if you have a goal to save then it will motivate you to work hard achieve monthly income to save because you have a target of buying dream items as soon as possible.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 05, 2023, 10:50:02 PM
Well said, I also wanna say the same think, Our education system only shows us the way and it is our responsibility to follow the full path. And if we first know ourselves, that is, our inner skill, then we do not need so many degrees. However, from the point of view of gaining knowledge, even though higher education is not mandatory for a person, it can sometimes be used as an option to increase one's knowledge and experience.
Many people find skills based on their education, so even though it is not an obligation to be highly educated but everyone must have education so that they can develop their own skills, we don't need a lot of educational degrees because they don't guarantee success but we do need an education to learn everything.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is for the important things on: March 05, 2023, 10:39:51 PM
Our economic crisis nowadays is very challenging and hard to deal with but I still focus on my purpose which is to have financial freedom in the future. I spend my money wisely by buying important things over only the things that I want but not needed. I always make sure that I have saved enough because years from now, I want to put up a good business so I would have a passive income so if ever I would lose my job I will still have a source of living. I want to have a good crypto investment and invest in assets as well. Goals could be reached by having the eagerness to control ourselves from irresponsible spending.
We must be wise to use money at this time of economic crisis, but prioritize saving because in the future we will face the most difficult times, I also use some of my savings for crypto investment for the long term, because I see the potential for a high increase maybe in the next few years to improve finances For the future, I've been setting up my DCA strategy since last year and setting aside some of my savings to add to my portfolio assets.

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shiba inu coin, now ranked 13th in cmc on: January 26, 2023, 10:21:35 PM
Ranking should not be your only basis when investing because not all are worth to invest, especially with their hype and utility. SHIB might be the second best meme token but considering its previous manipulation it will be hard to fully trust it. Though the chance to pump is there, but the risk is too high as well so better to analyze it well, start looking for a good reason on buying and always have your limit and target price to avoid being trap and avoid losing the money.
We see the prospect of an increase for SHIB but because this coin is very risky we have to allocate a limit of funds for investment, I am also involved in SHIB investment because the price continues to grow according to market prices and when the trend of this coin increases there is potential to reach the highest price, at least I am targeting half of the highest price ever reached before.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High Profit Projects Are Prone To Scam on: January 26, 2023, 10:15:30 PM
This is the truth - some people earn a huge profit but some of them had also too unlucky and lose their money. But I see this happen when investing coins during the hype, most of the time before we rejected the possible decline, we are always thinking that it keeps going higher but suddenly, drops come and never rise back again. A lot of people has been a victim of this during the ICO, IEO, and Defi times but the good thing is that we are started to learn this time and have been cautious with these new projects.
Many victims of losses from ICO, IEO and Defi effects previously were attracted to short investments for high profits, but ended up losing because investments in new projects without guarantees could last until the current market, all altcoins are temporary and disappear. So when the next market trend is, we invest carefully even though the lure of big profits, it's better to choose top altcoin investments.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: January 26, 2023, 10:08:26 PM
Those altcoins stated by OP weren't dead coins. Yeah, he didn't mention or asked about if they're dead but they're not those altcoins that are near to their end.
Despite the controversy that some of it are with, those are still at the top and look at ETH compared to the time when this was asked. It's been pumping together with bitcoin.
You are right, there are lots of top altcoin lists so surely people know that he wants to discuss specific altcoins in the category of coins dying due to various scam issues and definitely not the top altcoins he is referring to.

It's that just feel bad because I've sold most that I've got and didn't maximized the profit but yeah, gonna take the profit is profit subject.
Even if you have taken profit in the current price increase phase but it is not too late to buy it again during the correction, there is still a chance to take high profit in the long term
