21  Economy / Services / Re: Crack my bitcoin wallet address and get 0.155 btc + 0.5BTC on: April 24, 2017, 04:10:22 AM
The problem here is that when someone does crack this, for sure they'll just cash out your btc if it is larger than your reward.
That's why i only provided one address as opposed to the whole wallet.  Just to make it clear, there are two addresses within this wallet that have funds.  The one above has .15.  The other one has 3.
22  Economy / Services / Re: Crack my bitcoin wallet address and get 0.155 btc on: April 24, 2017, 03:18:12 AM
I literally don't remember anything about the password.  I can give you a couple of old passwords i was using around that time period and perhaps they were some modification of that.

The wallet is a bitcoinqt wallet and the posted json is from pywallet dumpwallet function.

I did just email dave from wallet recovery but i figured i'd give other people a try too.  I would post the full wallet but i would like to recover the 3 btc thats in another address.  Happy to give whoever cracks it an additional 0.5 bitcoin from the 3 bitcoin address.  Will add that to op now

Here's some potential passwords

Fromage243
FromageMadre96
FromageMadre966
FromageMadre966?
MadreFromage966
Po215ghyqaz
Poghy666qaz
Poghy667qaz
Poghy66qaz
TiltedQuittles87!
fromage244
fromagemadre
fromagemadre96
fromagemadre966
fromagemadre99
fromagemasdre96
jurgis343
jurgis43
pOghy2qaz
patikno
quiltedtittles87
qwertycunt890!
wqup4qmh

I did try all of them obviously and none of them worked.

Question: would it be feasible to crack an 8 char password given a-z A-Z 0-9?  I'm just curious, i don't remember the actual length.
23  Economy / Services / Crack my bitcoin wallet address and get 0.155 btc + 0.5BTC on: April 24, 2017, 12:24:30 AM
Here is the information for the address

   {
            "addr": "12KGAcU47BhCSQJCN9r2dHAvhDALMVsJkk",
            "balance": "15508294",

        "nID": 1,
        "otherParams": "",
        "salt": "d07e66c2606ae4fc"
    },

There is also another address within the wallet that has 3 btc that i am hoping to recover.  I will give the person who produces the successful password 0.5 in addition to the address above, but I guess youll have to trust me on following through.

Crack this wallet and feel free to take the money, but please message me the password! Or post it here

I forgot the password i used back in 2013 and im dying to figure it out so i can take funds from the other addresses in the wallet.  I really don't remember anything about the password but it wasnt very long

Also, does anyone have any time approximations for bruteforcing according to password length? Such as

5 char = xx min
6 char = xx min
7 char = xx min
and so on.  doesnt have to be exact in any sense im just trying to wrap my mind around how long it would take (assuming gpu acceleration)

Mods, if this is in the wrong subforum feel free to move it!

Ok.I'm not s scammer.Just really bad at working (communicating) on here.I've tried to get a loan and people just have to make life difficult for a guy who is otherwise honest even though he's clueless about writing things properly as well as being clueless about how people act on here.I joined because I thought that all people in here are welcoming to everyone,no matter how odd the backgrounds were that they came from.The shoe on the head thing is not fool proof and just seems to be done for laughs.I was honest about losing my ID and passport.I wanted to work for BTC by running a game to get things started after realising that jumping straight into loans gave me an unnecessary bad rap.Accusations of scammer mean no one wants to deal with me even though I never had a chance to be honest so far.I hope that people on here can learn that not everyone is like them.If you truly respect diversity of other people,please,give me a second chance and i can make things work.If after that you are still not happy with how I do things,I'll go... I admit that I was over eager before but that's just a personality thing (people cant always help that).

Also the number I was thinking of blaze was 75.nice try though.I thought that playing games will help me get to know the community better,like facebook did a long time ago.

It didn't went too far anyway. You think that a real pic of you putting a shoe on your head is enough for a loan?

I only did what u told me to do so thats unfair to ask me to do something unless I can actually get what I need.

You said the loan was to buy the Bitforce Singles for your customers, but you say you plan to repay the investors by mining with the Bitforce Singles.

My interpretation of this loan request is, you are under 18 and want some BFLs to mine. I'm not necessarily calling you a scammer, as you very well could intend to pay back the loans with the BTC mined, but I believe you are not being honest in your loan request.

This is true.I do intend to payback at somepoint.Once all the pre order issues get sorted out.

I gave u what you wanted.image of me with a shoe on my head.Lets just sort out the loan.

Jarsu you beat me to this - damn server lag!  Wink

Butense, GTFO you failed scumbag of a scammer.

I only did that to show you how stupid it is to ask people to put a shoe on their head with a photo.You guys think this is foolproof? My god you are silly.I'm no scammer.Just did this to show the obvious downside of this type of thing.Look where it got you.

I'm willing to give personal info if need be as I don't have a passport or ID on me (lost it) like name,dob,how to repay. I plan to repay by getting down payments from my customers as well as mining it off once I have the bitforce singles.

You lost your ID and passport? That's probably not a good thing to say... And I don't really believe that anyone could lose their ID and Passport, and still have time to request a loan for an online business. You would spend a lot more time talking with local police, and freezing your credit before something went horribly.

I can give all of the things you listed even without ever planning on building computers

Name : Tom Jones (not really)
DOB : 4/20/2018 (yes I was born in the future)
I plan on repaying your loan by selling computers, if this doesn't work, I'll just start selling drugs to repay the investors.

The information that you are willing to give doesn't really help investors at all.

Hello,
I'm looking for a loan to start my business of selling premade computers that people can mine with.It's a very recent business (so there is no web page up yet). I've got a few orders of computers that have the bitforce singes featured in them.I'd like a loan that can cover an order of 5 bitforce singles (5 customer pre orders)

This would be a better service if you used GPUs, because they are actually used by the computer for things other than mining...

Of course GPUs have to be there.Every computer needs to display what it's doing like web surfing/encoding media files/gaming etc.

Always take the money first that way you don't lose the product and the money if you get scammed.

I agree that it is better to be rich and healthy than to be poor and sick. Most of the people will not argue against it

Amen to that Smiley

They just modified this and added some info on FPGAs
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison
Looks like the bitforce units are the best to buy for my customers.Highest performance for good balance of power use and cost per unit.Time to secure funding for the pre ordering for a few customers of my business.I plan to start selling to people who tend to be offline most of the time (not internet savvy) as I want to try out something where I get as many customers as possible to mine off their down payments for the computers they purchase.Plan goes something like this
customer buys a computer with the bitforce unit and can't pay full price now.They pay a 30% deposit then pay later.
Customer then plugs their 'loan purchased computer' at their home
The mining program is set to auto start on their computer which will then 'mine off' the payment price bit by bit so that I can get money while the customer has little pressure.A contract for the customer will be signed meaning they have to run their computer for 400 hours a month and not to tamper with the bitforce miner and mining app until the 'debt' is paid off.

This is an very experimental payment option in addition to those who want to pay normally (USD,EUR etc)

I could use a few people to invest in my idea if they find it interesting so I can get this off the ground for my new company.Sent bitcoins to my address in sig if you wish.
37  Other / Beginners & Help / Info on FPGAs on: May 20, 2012, 07:24:50 PM
Hello,
I would like to incorporate FPGAs/ASICS into future computers I build as the bitcoin world has a market that I could use once I can get my computer building business off the ground.What FPGAs/ASICs are most straightforward to the end user as I wish to sell pre made rigs to miners as well while selling non mining pcs for the general public (those who wish to just use the web as well as those who play games)

I will have to get a loan at some point so I could order the parts should my customers (who don't have access to the internet now) decide that they wish to get into mining or just to buy a premade computer from me.

I hear that the devices made by butteryfly labs are good.What can you tell me about them? I cant post anywhere yet due to my status on here.
38  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where do you see bit coin in the next 2 - 6 months on: May 20, 2012, 07:14:13 PM
I hope it rises a lot.I really do think that if someone can comeup with a good alternative to bitcoin they can make a lot of $$$ by licensing the tech to people willing to build apps around them. I expect it to be around maybe $11 in 2 months time based on Eurozone crisis.

People should be wary about apps like this.I think this is 100% malware.The guy who claims to work for the company who makes this app isn't telling us.He claims that 'it wouldn't be good for business' wow. Enough reason for me to stay well away from that guy and his app.If you are honest about an app,be transparent(to the guy who claims to work for them).
