Just give it a few months. Before the New Year there is going to be a MASSIVE crash all across the board with crypto. Everyone and their mother is going to lose huge money except for the lucky few. We are in an absolutely massive bubble that is bound to burst at any time. It is only a matter of time. I give it a couple of months and maybe until late January at the latest. Don't say you were not warned!!!
I think so too that there will be a big crash but it's mostly to do with the big surge before the BTC hard forks and then the big dump after. I wonder why you think it won't recover and grow bigger, just like it did last times after crashes?

simple idea but really good. bitcoin + cash = bitcoin green but with this make me feel bitcoin cash is just follow bitcoin not a revolution Well to many, Bitcoin Cash is the real Bitcoin and following Nakamoto's legacy. So it only makes sense that the branding is similar I suppose. At least that's the whole idea.

I am seeing a lot of new ICO's.. even Jesus coin (omg thats an insult)
What do you think?
That is not just a simple insult. That is an insult not just to the name but to the entire Christian world in which Jesus is considered a God! What the hell is the mind of the people behind this? I can only think it's mostly atheists who are making this coin as a "funny", meme-like project, imitating and hoping for the dodge effect? It's clearly a satire but maybe it's only a matter of time until we see BuddhaCoin and MuhammadCoin? It's just bad taste altogether.

The only answer I always give to this question is: "not enough" There's probably only one person in the world that can say "I have enough" and that person might be dead anyway - Satoshi

None, it as like a wild ride but these ups and downs are a good reason why more people will come with new money into crypto...it's because you can make (and also lose) so much, so fast. It's the potential that's so attractive. At least that's how I see it.

Tough question today giving the China ban. I'd sell 5 for BTC and hodl 5 but I think there's A LOT of cash right now in the market that needs to go somewhere but it's hard to predict when everything's so red. I'm thinking BTC will get out of this with the least harm.

As others have said I highly reccomend doing as much research as you can before buying as it can be quite technical as you get into it. As for buying you give the seller your bitcoin address (Typically something like this: 1Ifhr85bdhek3dnB for example) if someone asks for your private key you should block them immediately and ignore them as that is all that is needed for them to take control of your address.

Apparently I've been banned but I am not on the list and I have not heard any reason why I might be, is this a mistake or?

If I where you I'd use electrum or just a basic online wallet such as blockchain . info You don't need to use the standard wallet as that will take days to catch up.

Actually I haven't really invested in bitcoin. Don't get me wrong I love Bitcoin and have been around it for years. It's just that I enjoy watching it from the outside, maybe in the future I'll invest in some longterm BTC holdings but right not I think watching suits my position.
you are a hero member must be more mature than us, how can you watch bitcoin for such a long time and still not moved, specially when the price fell down, i think you should invest our fiat money in bitcoin if you are really interested in bitcoin. I have invested small amounts at different points in time (Back when BTC was like $150 ea) but I just don't see huge price jumps happening like they used to anymore (As in like 5x jumps) which means by watching I'm not going to miss making heaps of money and can jump on the train anytime I want. I'm also quite cautious about Bitcoin in general (See my other post above)

Don't you think it's a risky position? I mean, with segwit about to be activated, and considering the political and economic changes around the world, the Bitcoin scenario seems a bit optimistic at the moment. I mean, what am I risking? The chance to make more money essentially and I'd be risking a reasonable amount as well which to me isn't the world. I'm optimistic about Bitcoins future but at the same time I do see some real issues that could stop it reaching the potential a lot of people expect it to reach, for example how hard would it be for a billionaire to create a new Crypto and mass market it to the world as the future whilst being completely fair no premine etc. if something like that happened and gained mass popularity why should bitcoin be worth heaps?

As a non-american I can say my country hardly has any guns and whilst there are still some gun crimes I do not in any way fear for my safety not having a gun, I think It'd take a huge culture change for the US to get rid of most of their guns but I do think it would improve the country in areas like less police shootings and such.

If I remember correct the next 5 million btc will be mined over the next 80 odd years. Although keep in mind some BTC gets lost in old wallets and such.
