This is by far the best pool I have used.  Just finished moving the last of my accounts from deepbit.  Keep up the great work.
22  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ["WAIT LIST"] BFL Mini-Rig Order Date/Ship Date on: May 17, 2012, 02:57:38 PM
Has anyone received any progress updates from bfl on their mini-rig development?
23  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mini Rig announcement by Butterfly Labs - 25gh/s on: May 17, 2012, 02:55:11 PM
Has anyone received any progress updates from bfl on their development of the mini-rig or any updates on anticipated delivery dates?

Only someone who was benefiting from BFL would backup such a poor business model..(Inaba) Unless your name is rjk and your sole purpose is to irritate the largest audience possible in every thread. Give it a rest already.. We don't need your English lessons just because you don't agree with a statement, but have nothing logical to say in your defense.
They are a startup business with more orders than they can fill.  It's not as if they put in their business model, "Purposefully delay customer orders 2-4 months."   Roll Eyes
There business model is to intentionally lie about order guarantee dates. They are clearly aware, that no orders are being filled in 4-6 weeks. Even if you email them after there guaranteed time has past, they just give another bogus deadline. After that deadline is up, email them again. They give you another unrealistic delivery date. Seems like they have politicians setting up the business model down there.. No one is expecting miracles, a little honesty would be nice though.

Well we usually don't respond to these kinds of posts. However, to let everyone know why the delay ever existed, I'll go a little into details.

The first unit produced was the Rev A boards which we demonstrated and ran a test with Inaba (our first personal contact with the community).
The Rev A did all that it was supposed to, and we were exactly within our deadline. However, due to higher power consumption we hadn't
predicted, the Rev A got quite hot and we concluded  that it was best not to send the Rev A for production. We were forced into going
with two more prototypes to meet our desired specs. The two prototyping stages in addition to chinese unusually long holidays, created the initial
delay (and offset) in our delivery schedule.

Regards,
BF Labs Inc

That's all fine and good to explain the initial delay while developing the initial prototypes.  However as far as anyone knows based on posted delivery times in this forum, there has yet to be a single delivered in less than 60 days.  Why the resistance to posting a realistic delivery date on your website.

Does your pool allow for all 8 decimal places of a wallet balance to be withdrawn if an account is closed?
28  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] ShaLab on: May 14, 2012, 09:23:42 PM
Wow you guys are terrible. Stop trolling.
Who cares if the logo looks "childish" ( I think it's fine ). I'm not saying that this company is legit, but there is nothing that proofs that is fake. Chill out. Go mine some coins if you're to bash on the guy, and come back when OP posts any new info.

obviously you're in on the scam Wink
29  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [166 GH/s] BitMinter.com [Zero Fee, Hopper Safe, Merged Mining,Tx Fees Paid Out] on: May 14, 2012, 09:12:25 PM
Does anyone know if there is a way to change the time zone on the bitminter website from the default?
30  Other / Off-topic / Re: Butterfly Labs - Bitforce Single and Mini Rig Box on: May 14, 2012, 08:02:45 PM
BFL initially made unrealistic estimates of both the hashing power and electricity consumption of the product based on mathematical simulations.  Upon construction and testing of actual units, these theoretical estimates which had been posted on their website were replaced with actual numbers.  I think it would be reasonable to request that they do similarly with their shipping estimates.

The registered agent in the state of Wyoming had been changed but their filings weren't transferred properly.  The paperwork is currently being updated.  One point for the trolls.  Good work.

I think you lose the right to be snotty in your responses when your website lists a guaranteed delivery time frame which has yet to even come close to being fulfilled.

Two simple options, either change the wording on your website or deliver on your guarantee.
32  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] ShaLab on: May 14, 2012, 06:57:27 PM
lol ... you "make favour" ... then ask for money ... nice Smiley

I have nothing to lose. One member of ShaLab is less than 10km away from my town.
I only want to make favour to you and you are treating me like that?!

And this is why I'm not writing post, because of negative thinking.
I have ony 6 posts only for this reason.

has anyone else encountered a firmware integrity failure ... after attempting to upgrade the firmware ... the following message is listed in the device information ... "Firmware integrity test failed.  Reflash required."

hmm, how many pins are on the chips in the bfl single?

If you have your own single, just look yourself.  If you don't have your own single, why do you care?

makes you look like an immature whining fool ... completely devalues anything technical that you have to add

Hey Kano, why the name calling?

no worries ... i'm just happy to have it running ... thanks to epoch for the advice Smiley
38  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overclock monitor fanspeed GCN RPC linux/windows/osx 2.3.6 on: April 29, 2012, 11:33:30 PM
the post you linked to indicates that autodetect for bfl only works in linux ... not windows .... as I indicated, I am running windows
39  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overclock monitor fanspeed GCN RPC linux/windows/osx 2.3.6 on: April 29, 2012, 11:28:32 PM
I don't know what to tell you ... it didn't work before, now it works with gpu disabled.  Is there a reason why bfl's are not auto detected like they are in ufasoft's miner?
40  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overclock monitor fanspeed GCN RPC linux/windows/osx 2.3.6 on: April 29, 2012, 11:20:17 PM
epoch indicated in his post that i needed to disable the gpu functionality then manually select the com port of the bfl ... that worked and i'm now able to run one instance of cgminer for the gpu and a separate instance for the bfl with gpu disabled
