Given the fact that there are only 21M bitcoins, one could wonder if bitcoin was designed for a few selected or first few adopters and not to be a global currency in a world with +7 billions people.
What happens 40 years from now when most of the people on earth turn to using crypto currency? simply use alt coins when they see bitcoin already in hands of a few hundreds people and not wanting to be manipulated by them or even by 1m coins of satoshi?
Can't we have a second version of same code with same team and the same credibility developing it?
Yes there are only 21M Bitcoins but do remember that they are divisible into 8 decimal units. The design was built for payments on the internet without any middlemen involved aka banks. It is very arguable that most, if not all of the people would be using Bitcoin as the only cryptocurrency solution 40 years from now. Banks are also interested in the technology to remain relevant in online payments. So we might either see Bitcoin evolve to become the dominant solution for online payments or we see it replaced by something else. Or maybe we would see Bitcoin become as a sort of commodity and as a store of value. Off course there are so many people who are using the bitcoin so you can say the bitcoin is getting global becuase everyone on the planet is using it in all kind of countrys does not matter witch one. |

I dont think there is cominga big drop again becuase the bitcoin will last for ever some body sayd to me and i need to believe him and when tyhe price is going to drop that much i am going to sell any coin i have for sure!

Never selling your coins can be done but do you think you will make the most money with it i dont think that is the reason becuasjust holdng is not the option to make that much

If the bitcoin can grow that big i dont think he will beat the banks but maybe banks will deal with the bitcoin and do the same thing with the dollars and other currencys off course
that is one of the biggest thing for the bitcoin when that happens.

Actually, i didn't put any money in bitcoin. I just got them free in a couple of ways. First, from faucets, Im earning a small portion of bitcoins by faucets and ads clicking. Second, by downloading an app that gives bitcoins when you do a certain task. And lastly, I got most ofy bitcoins by gambling. I always win in a gambling site and I can make 0.01 BTC without depositing a single cent.
Never put all of your money into the bitcoin because there will come some times that yoou will regret it becuae the bitcoin will not be so high in the future believe me you should sell them right now when it is possible. |

You are forgetting that Bitcoin has transaction fees. The total sum of transaction fees paid for transactions in a certain block goes to the miners solving that block (in addition to the block reward). While total transaction fees today are typically significantly less than 1 BTC per block, this total sum is already significantly higher than a few years ago. In future, transaction fees will progressively increase in relevance compared to block rewards and ultimately entirely replace them as an incentive to solve more blocks. You also have to consider that with decreasing block rewards, Bitcoin's valuation will very likely increase significantly. So mining might still be profitable, even if the amount of Bitcoin obtained in the process is only a fraction of what it is today. ya.ya.yo! If you deal with the bitcoin as he needs to deal with he will last for ever off course but there are to many people who are still holding and dont deal with the bitcoin how suposed so i dontt think he will last for ever. |

Bitcoin is not the one who affect life allot i think that the peopel makes life affect allot becuase people are driving crazy about the bitcoin and no totherwise off course

Same here i put my money into bitcoin since year ago and now i am making a profit.. i am still not satisfied for the price today and block halving is not done yet so i will wait more days after block halving before i sell my bitcoin so that you i can make more profit..
Never put all your money into the bitcoin because what if the price falls to the bottom and all of your money is into the bitcoin i dont think you will get back anything of that because everything is lost. |

Investing is one of the biggest thingsd you can do with the bitcoin becuase investing with the bitcoin will give you allot of money you know and that is really nice for the future
of the bitcoin becuase the price wont fall down.

why dont you add one more option,"traded with money" i think many people will pick that option,for me bitcoin is money,so i have bitcoin to trade it with money,and sometime for buy something,i'm sure many people do like me.
I would say this falls under "buying other things", but I'll add that for you. Thanks for the suggestion  I have bitcoins for the same reason other ones has bitcoins and that is off course for investing with it and hope to make money with the bitcoin and off course i am holding some of them for the fuiture. |

I am never buying bitcoins and the biggest reason of that is that lots of peopel are not making money with it by buying them right now the price wont
rise so why would i buy bitcoins rigth tnow?
