Is it possible for you to sign a shorter message?  I seem to be too dumb to figure out how to verify the message with all the newlines.

@r3demon

Will you setup the escrow and will you honor the dividends I one uses escrow? Because the end of the auction is pretty close to the dividends payout.

I will accept John K. escrow, you pay the fee/tip for his services. Dividends will be forwarded if you pay within 48 hours.

Nice try, AM is down to 2.151 on btct...

Those are pass-through shares, I don't see anyone selling direct shares cheaper. Anyway, I'll keep the dividends if nobody's interested  Smiley

Hey guys, you should probably put a banner for fundraising on litecoin.org, at least a donation address somewhere, not so many people are going to find this topic.

Litecoin Dev Fundraiser: 5,000 LTC Matching Donation Challenge
A big sponsor who wishes to be anonymous is willing to support the Litecoin Development Team.  They are offering a challenge grant where if we receive an additional 5,000 LTC in community donations by June 18th noon GMT, the anonymous sponsor will match with an additional 5,000 LTC.  These combined funds will go a long way toward enabling long-term development of the Litecoin software and related vendor integration tools.

The dev team donations prior to the challenge amount to 3,059.8868 LTC at LRNYxwQsHpm2A1VhawrJQti3nUkPN7vtq3.  The challenge will be complete when gross received funds at this address reach 8,059.8868 LTC.  Bitcoins donated to 1KD5tt1p3mdZH8DDXeEwdsJNpiwUZCfzkF converted and deposited to the LTC address count toward the challenge.

A list of sponsors, donations, and expenses of the Litecoin development project are listed here.  If you contact Warren with your txid and cryptographic signature proving ownership of the sending address, we may add your name or business name to the sponsor list, at our discretion.

“The 5,000 LTC matching challenge funds is currently sequestered at LXhTDTv1cwGUb67DX88xtkQriYWmTFAVyr.”

The identity of the anonymous sponsor will be revealed later.

Note from Warren: It is technically Tuesday June 4th, 2013 11:03PM HST at my current location. =)

Great news! Litecoin development should be ahead of Bitcoin, let's help the devs!

Just sent 10LTC towards the goal.

35  Economy / Securities / Re: HYDRO.BONDS status? on: April 12, 2013, 11:02:22 AM
My understanding is that last payout was not a dividend payment, it is one time compensation for bond holders. He used our dividend to buy more BFL ASIC devices and divided the costs of all BFL devices to us bond holders. He will keep those BFL devices to himself and no more dividend payment after that(unless he change his mind in future).

Thanks for sending this.  I'll read up later this week.

Do you have a plan for action?  Do you consider his final payment reasonable?

No, I don't have any plan right now. I may consider to start scam accusation by publishing my conversation with him but I want to hear more opinions from other bond holders before taking any action.

I don't think his final payment reasonable. Besides HYDROBONDS,  I have PIMP and YABMC bonds. PIMP operator  refunded me 132.x BTC + dividend for 2200 PIMP shares (~220 HYDROBONDS) on mid of last December and YABMC operator continually pay me back dividend by moving shares to BTC-TC(still paying). Cuz0882 at least should pay back dividend between 13-Dec-12 and now which should be roughly 45BTC for my 538 shares. Then I may accept this final buy back.

The final payment seems not reasonable and the dividends weren't paid properly. The main reason I bought HYDRO.BOND shares was a possibility of BFL ASIC upgrade, and now it has just ended with some minimal payment. I hope cuz0882 makes some statement considering the situation.

That's pretty common problem for 5970's, the GPU is probably fine, but VRM chip/chips are dead. You can try to replace VRMs, if you can find some spare cards lying around.
37  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 5970 dead? on: March 05, 2013, 12:00:20 PM
Try underclocking it, and it's always good to check if heatsink pads are installed properly.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5970 4 gig Whats the k has for LTC on: February 22, 2013, 12:00:36 PM
My overclocked Radeon HD5970 2Gb version has around 400 Khash/s on scrypt for each GPU, so its 800 Khash/s for the card. I don't think the 4Gb version is any different, except maybe better for overclocking, so I would expect anything in the range of 700-900 Khash/s.
