21  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: October 08, 2016, 06:01:33 PM
I like BTC and GOLD. I am thinking of buying gold coins with bitcoins earnings. Bitcoins are to be exchanged to local fiats here. Planning to earn and save for a month or two. Once I see a reasonable amount in my wallet to buy a gram gold coin then, will be happy to exchange the bitcoins into my local currency. Will be happy to design a coin with BTC letters on it.

Both are nice assets to hold and to have although gold is more a fancy asset since you can have it and use it for multiple purposes while bitcoin has 2 main features
- Use it to trade with it
- Use it to buy things with it.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust Poloniex? on: October 08, 2016, 05:48:59 PM
It is hard not to put some funds in an exchange if you are trading constantly. Maybe not all your funds, but then let's just pray nothing bad happens.

Yes it is best to have some funds at exchange A and some on exchange B
But having said that i find bittrex and poloniex the exchanges that can be trusted. At least I trust them for bitcoin up to 10 coins. Not more.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is big problem in using of bitcoin on: October 06, 2016, 03:41:27 AM
I do not have real problem with the bitcoin, the only downside that is already said is that you have to wait sometimes so long due to the confirms that has to be done.
Its very annoying and I hope this will change in the future..
24  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: October 06, 2016, 03:39:43 AM
I did not put a lot of money into the bitcoin and I'm also not willing to do this because its stays a risky investment and I do not want to lose too much money on it.
I think that its not bad to only but small amounts in it.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: October 06, 2016, 03:10:27 AM
Do not stick to a coin, mine what is profitable. If you do not have time dual mining and intelligent mining can be alternatives. If you do not have time do not waste your money.

That is many small miners do. They usually switch to the most profitable coins to mine. They just mine.

If many farmers switch all the time, then the profitability for the mining will be simlar, there is no need to switch.

That is right. I stick with the Etheruem mining at the moment. It is almost one of the most profitable to mine.

Right about that its right now still the most profitable altcoin there is to mine in my eyes because others are already less more worth..
I think that we should also stay mining it because of this.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoin will be used widely? on: October 06, 2016, 02:43:37 AM
Etherium will be the one that get spreaded, I do not see any other altcoin do this than the etherium.
Of course I can have it wrong but we will see what is gonna happen.
27  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Would you buy a hardware wallet? on: October 06, 2016, 02:02:05 AM
No, thanks a hardware wallet can be nice to have and I think its also safe but I prefer a cold storage or a paper wallet, it just feels much safer and I'm also used to use them.
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell my stocks buy bitcoin... on: October 06, 2016, 01:55:44 AM
This can be a good option but its risky too due to the fact that I think stocks can go down but the bitcoin can also do this.
If you have the chance I would go for the bitcoin because its also a real currency so that is nice.
You are right about that, it can has some risks but I also agree with you that the bitcoin is better because the bitcoin can be used for all kind of things and with stocks this is not the case at all.
29  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: October 06, 2016, 01:44:44 AM
No I do not spend them actively also because its not the right moment to do this, its almost the end of the bitcoin and the bitcoin is gonna rise to a higher amount due to this fact I think that its better to hold it right now.
30  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I make money with $100 USD BTC on: October 06, 2016, 01:20:01 AM
You can better first do some signature campaigns and than make some good money with that and after that invest it into the bitcoin to make some good money with the bitcoin itself.
I really think it will be worth doing this honestly.
31  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: October 04, 2016, 11:00:30 PM
Yes the bitcoin affects my life a lot because of the fact its very nice to do things with it and its very profitable because of that I stay focused on the market every hour/day/week.
I know its not healthy but I stay doing it till I make some good profit.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling is Fun? on: October 04, 2016, 10:37:34 PM
Gambling is fun to do but the only thing is that if something is fun you also get addicted to it, so that is the downside of it all.
I think that gambling is fun and enjoying by games but that you need to controlled.
33  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: October 04, 2016, 10:11:52 PM
I think in my own opinion, we are not in the position of encouraging them to accept bitcoin, it is the function of government to do that because I know that no business man will want to go against any government law and as LOCAL as they are, they tend to avoid taking any risk of flouting a non-existent law. What I think we can do is to show them the benefits of BITCOIN and why it is in their best interest to accept and they are responsible for whatever follows.

I also think that we should still not do this due to the fact that the bitcoin is still not far enough, I honestly hope that I can accept it as a business soon or later, if we want to encourage it we simply should make it more popular.
34  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict the price: Halving day 2020 on: October 04, 2016, 09:46:13 PM
I do not know what is gonna happen with the bitcoin halving in that year but I think if the bitcoin stays growing like this it will be very profitable without any doubts.
We should have some patience but we will get rewarded without any doubts.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Is USD being used for illegal activities? on: October 04, 2016, 09:41:15 PM
Yes its indeed used for illegal activities and the fact is also that its logical it is used for such things, I agree with the people that every currency has this.
36  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: October 04, 2016, 08:39:40 PM
My answer is No. I will not accept Bitcoin as my salary. I will do business with Bitcoin. I will accept Bitcoin as my online business payment, but I will not take Bitcoin as my salary. Because the main reason is Bitcoin price, it is not stable. In this time I am not interested in taking risk. So I like Bitcoin, but I will not accept Bitcoin as my salary.

Indeed having the same idea about that, its simply not stable and due to that also not secure to get payed in it, maybe in the future I will but right now I will for sure not do this.
37  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Brazil has more than 150 stores that accept bitcoin on: October 01, 2016, 04:07:38 PM
It's amazing that a country in south america already has so many stores accepting bitcoin, Europe could learn from them!
This thread is pretty old so I can only imagine that Brazil must have developed even more stores that accept bitcoin, would love to visit at least once that's for sure.

Yes its a very good sign that Brazil is doing this and that they are having so much stores, I hope that it will also boost their economy in the time..

As far as i Know there is no country in the world which is so advanced towards therir bitcoin infrastructure. It seems to me that they in brazil do understand what bitcoin is and what i can do. very good to say a country is taking the lead.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need $5000 to get listed in bittrex, correct? on: October 01, 2016, 03:59:55 PM
well. 5000 dollars is a huge amount. but bittrex is also a big exchange. if a coin get listed in bittrex it means the coin is already a successful and one of the biggest coin in altcoin.
so 5000$ is not a big amount for getting listed in bittrex..
indeed that is huge money but i think 5000 dollars is worth to spend if any altcoins want to got listed on bitrrex because plenty altcoin traders has trade on this exchange every day and this is good opportunity to get steady traders who interested buying altcoins at there

That's a lot of money, i was under the impression that they asked 3 BTC for your coin to get listed. but this is just ridiculous. Why do they even charge such a large sum of money. Are they becoming ignorant? Their role in the altcoin scene is important and this is bad for altcoins. Very bad.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the best altcoin exchange? on: September 29, 2016, 05:34:52 PM
The most one I use is Yobit to be honest and I'm happy with it because its a good one and I have no problems with it too.
The website is nice and easy too so that is a plus point.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum to go up or down? on: September 29, 2016, 05:31:06 PM
ETH is falling a bit today, I expect a price to go down some more

I also think that it will go down more but of course we still have to see what is gonna happen with it.
I hope it will also rise a bit again.
