You seems not to be a coder right? I read ETH's source code for XMR-like smart contract. It is so funny although I know it is just a basic code to demonstrate a proof of concept. If you are able to read the source code, you will not be so confident. I know developers are kings because they can say anything that everyone who can not read source code has to believe.

You will always have to deal with FUD. Just keep making new developments on your coin, and the fans will come. If you just leave this coin as it is, I do not project this will be a good experience for you.
Also, you need to come up with a plan on what you intend to do with the 10% premine. Miners and investors do not want 100 million coins hanging over their heads that could be dumped at anytime once it gets to an exchange.

Already done atleast to my knowledge. If you guys havent checked out the cross sending I highly recommend it. It will allow you to take use of the exchange, to sell your coins and within a few minutes make a bitcoin transaction. Sort of like shapeshift.io except no third party needs to be trusted. You completely take advantage of the API on bittrex, and are able to buy, sell withdraw and the best one. Cross send.

I do agree that we need to come up with something to split us from the pack. Thats why alot of my time has been focused on updating the core code to fix darksend, instantx and the extra features that dash doesnt currently have. Already we are miles ahead of the pack, because our features actually work. Unlike most POS coins with masternodes. And in the next few weeks I think everyone is going to be very pleased with the newest client.

Left for dead, abandoned by it's original developers, and community.  Octocoin makes a return with a shiny new Qt wallet based on the latest Litecoin 0.10.x source tree.

It's my pleasure to release Octocoin Core 10.3 (v0.10.3.1).

As always, before updating please make a backup of your `wallet.dat` file.  This version should be able to open any wallet.dat files created with the legacy Octocoin client, however once opened the `wallet.dat` file can no longer be opened in the legacy client.  Additionally, there is no hard fork.  The current block chain is 100% compatible with this new version.

Its recommended (but not mandatory) that everyone update to this version.

I'm not just some guy who's copying and pasting code.  I spent the time and effort using my skill and knowledge to build a full quality release.  The wallets below were built using the Gitian build process, the same process used for Bitcoin releases.

Known issues

It's very much possible that the words Bitcoin and Litecoin may still appear in the UI, logs, or console. If you happen to come across one of this mistakes please file an issue at Github.

The Blockchain download stalls at block 75888 for some users. This was corrected in version 0.10.3.1.  If you are using 0.10.3.0 it's recommended that you update to avoid problems.

Your transaction must have at least 6 confirms in order to be used as a collateral address.

I always use a fresh new wallet for the nodes so I can stake my MN payments in another wallet just for staking.
