21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lot of people in this section do not understand basic gambling concepts. on: May 25, 2024, 12:00:35 PM

I have no idea casinos can actually reduce the HE of their games for VIP members. But the fact that they can do this, there is no stopping them from adjusting HE for all. But do we have options to check the HE for our regular account?

It’s just an example by the OP to emphasize the impact of House Edge to EV but casino doesn’t offer lower house edge for higher VIP ranks since it’s very hard to adjust the house edge of games on each players depending on their VIP level.

Casino just increases the rakeback percentage and cashback but the house edge remain intact on each game so in reality the EV will still negative like what the OP said.

Some people on the gambling discussion really doesn’t understand how house edge works thinking that removing house edge will give player an advantage/+EV automatically.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Day streaming as gambler experience on: May 25, 2024, 10:42:32 AM
For now my experience is pretty good for now, but I certainly need some advices from you to upgrade my channel, community, and how to grow and to the next step.

Maybe try to invest first on your internet speed. Try to upgrade your modem to 5g or upgrade your internet plans to make your stream quality improve because all the high definition cameras and other tools to provide good quality resolution is worthless if you can’t have a good internet connection to feed in online.

Do you think it is a bad thing to do, promoting gambling?

Gambling is part of an entertainment industry. It’s a legal business so I don’t think promoting them is bad.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling bad to the society? on: May 24, 2024, 08:04:33 PM
The problem is that many people have too high expectations when it comes to gambling, and while chasing those expectations, they slowly fall into a hole that is difficult to get out of. Education is important, but most of us learn things the hard way...

We can’t blame them since most of the casino promise the potential to unlock massive wealth when you hit the jackpot right?

Not only high expectation is the main concern but rather people using gambling as short cut to success by aiming for hutting the jackpot using the money that they got even though they are already over spending for a mere chance to hit it.

Lottery is the best example here. People keeps placing bet on lottery even though the chance of winning is enough for them to completely don’t win for the rest of their life due to it’s very low chance.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are confident with your picks, do you win most of the time? on: May 24, 2024, 07:14:21 PM
So how about you? Have you ever thought of this idea when your picks aren't hitting? I mean, if we keep following how we think and feel with our picks and it doesn't translate to profit, there's no reason to continue following the same strategy. But are we comfortable with betting against our own picks just for the sake of fading ourselves strategy?

I’m a seasonal sports bettor because I only place bet in sports that I watch closely to make my bets more accurate.

I have a higher winning rate on sports betting because I usually focus on quality of my bets rather than quantity so I only bets on matches that I have high confidence to win regardless of how low the odds is.

Some people aim for higher odds that’s why they keep chasing complicated matches that makes them lose frequently no matter how confident they are with their bets since they are forcing picks limited to high odds that makes it naturally complicated to win.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks against cryptocurrency? on: May 24, 2024, 07:05:17 PM
So what I'm ultimately getting out here, is that crypto currency can't go in line with banks. What are your thoughts towards this?
Not only it can go in line with banks, as it's already happening at many banks around the world. Here in my country we can already invest in cryptocurrencies through our traditional banking apps, so the bank is a middleman between you and cryptocurrencies. The problem is that you can't cashout your crypto funds from the platform, so the bank has it on their hands the whole time, and as we know, not your keys, not your coins... It's definitely a big issue, although banks don't have any problems in offering this investment opportunity for their customers.

This offer from banks to invest on crypto is very popular nowadays since Paypal have this kind of feature too but users is just buying virtual crypto currency and not the real currency since you already that you can’t withdraw it. It’s only a proxy cryptocurrency which all users investing on the price of crypto and not on the real crypto.

All the purchased on that bank app is not directly affecting crypto price. I believe it’s way of the bank to still be relevant for crypto investors by offering a fake cryptocurrency for their customers just to keep them using their service.

Gates of Olympus in general is top slot to win even on any variant most notably the 1000 version which has an insane volatility.

27  Economy / Lending / Re: Be aware of such people that do not use to pay back loan. on: May 23, 2024, 03:41:53 PM
Before giving out any loan there are questions you need to  ask, because there are so many people they Hadley pay back their loan, you should be careful of people you give loan, must people think nobody can do them anything, that is the mindset so many people have today, you just have to be careful of such people.
No collateral no loan. I was in lending business and lost so much that I had to stop the service LOL

Collateral is indeed the best way to stay in business safely but the problem is most of the lender doesn’t practice this anymore that’s why it’s very hard to compete if you will stick to this policy.

Usually signature campaign and trust records are now being use as substitute collateral just to have a borderline secure loan in the forum since most of the regular borrower are from signature campaigns.
28  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Heisenberg63 is lyer/scammer on: May 23, 2024, 02:34:23 PM
He has a recent issue about questionable hacked account that result to scamming someone here. Also you should always refer to the trust rating before you deal with someone even though you have previous transactions because you can’t guarantee that same user is the one you are dealing since we all using an anonymous account here.

This account needs to be flagged or else he will have another victim since a negative trust seems not enough to warn newbie about the danger on dealing this guy. Sorry for your loss OP. Next time use the trust system on all of your future deal.
29  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is the exclusive stake.com bonus promoted on some sites legit? on: May 23, 2024, 01:54:11 PM
I have seen some sites advertise an exclusive bonus such as 200% up to $500 or even 200% up to $3000. Is this a legitimate bonus and why does Stake.com not have such a bonus?

It’s due to Stake partnership with that website. As payment, Stake is willing to give this exclusive bonus in exchange for the website to promote them especially if this particular website has a lot of readers/followers. It’s a small price to pay for Stake advertisement if ever they will recruit more users that will play. That’s why playing using someone bonus code is always a good choice rather than registering without filling up the bonus code part during registration process.

Quote
If so, when I play with this bonus, do the other reward programs that Stake offers to its players (weekly and monthly bonus, rakeback...) also count for me, or do I first have to fulfill the 40x requirement for the deposit bonus? Thanks in advance

Yes. It’s like hitting 2 birds using single stone so always make your bet efficient by availing bonuses as much as possible.
30  Economy / Gambling / Re: House Edge on: May 22, 2024, 02:49:19 PM

Casinos with the lowest house edge aren't necessarily the best.

Well, you're right, but in general terms, it seems that the casinos that are larger have a Minimal house Advantage ,

This is not true. Casino like has a high house edge on their sportsbook since they have lower odds compared to other sportsbook that has lower number of users. They are already confident about the number of customers that’s why they can already adjust their profit percentage to gain more. You can compare this scenario to popular banks that lowers already the APR for savings when they already have enough customers while new banks typically offer higher APR to attract new customers.

This the point being considered by the post that you quote since popular casino usually offers high house edge because they don’t need to lower it just to compete with others. Those new casino usually use the low house edge to no house edge feature just to attract players since they are relying that players will lose completely their bankroll on fair gaming.
31  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |SLOTS|SPORTS|ESPORTS| JACK Token on: May 22, 2024, 01:39:37 PM
Is there something wrong with your website right now? It seems unstable, it just loads and whenever I am already in the login form, nothing happens after clicking submit.
I'm from the Philippines, maybe some server issue?

Just wait for it. The initial loading of the casino takes some time if this is your first time to open it because there’s a lot of animation and display on it. Are you using globe internet connection because I experience this slow loading on casino website whenever I use this ISP.

Btw, I have a question regarding KYC, do I need to undergo the KYC process as soon as start to bet or deposit? Please let me know what is your basis or trigger of undergoing to KYC

In general, KYC is only asked for those user account that shows a possibility of violating the ToS. You can’t be asked for it if you are just playing normally. IIRC Blackjack.fun has a threshold amount for unKYC account. If your account total withdraw/deposit amount exceeds limit then you will be obligated to do KYC. This is based on their older policy tho.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 22, 2024, 01:00:17 PM
Anyway, let's discuss the other conference finals. Tomorrow we have the Dallas vs. Wolves game 1. I hope this is also a great matchup. Both teams are coming from tough series, so I expect they'll give each other a headache.

My pick would be Dallas moneyline and under 206.

Comparing the 2 team players stats. Wolves have the advantage because they have great defense and offense due to their size advantage. But considering how stressful their game 7 match against Nuggets I think Dallas maybe a good choice for Game 1 since they are fresh because they finish early the OKC series.

I’m skeptical on what will be the Dallas defense against Wolves big man while they are lacking good center ever since. They are just compensating with good offense that’s why they keep winning on this playoffs.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you disguise on your real gambling lifestyle just to help a friend/relative? on: May 22, 2024, 12:48:52 PM

He really lucky can realizes about his addiction and knows how to solved his problems. Not many people like him that can cured his addiction and now he tells to many people about the dangerous of the gambling addiction. Most people will not knows about their addiction and will thinks that they still okay playing gambling so they will not stops their gambling activity. If many more people like him and can gives his story about addiction and can inspired many people, maybe many people can realizes that they are addicted to gambling and wants to search for the way to cure their addiction. What people with addicted to gambling must do trying to open their minds and accept the reality that they are addicted to gambling and needs to solve the problem before they gets the worst things in their lives.

Most of the gambling addiction story from influencers usually experienced the worst before they recover from it. They recover from this addiction they already loss most of his many that makes him incapable to gamble anymore or in short his addiction was naturally cured because he can’t gamble anymore.

People that already can share their experience usually overcome this addiction completely. It’s very hard to snap from addiction without losing most of your money because you can only realize that you are badly addicted if most of your money already loss.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling losses are traps to new game on: May 21, 2024, 04:04:24 PM
Gambling is a business activity so trusting those gambling sites will only make you fall on their traps. The reason why I do my own gambling predictions or analysis because I have more confidence in myself rather than relying on casinos algorithms and still end up with their highest advantage to win and own our funds.

However, trusting some gambling casinos isn’t actually bad as long as you very it first through your own analysis and weigh things properly, and that’s where you’ll decide if you want to take their side or stick to what you think is right for you.

He is pertaining to the reliability of the casino games that they will not cheat against users when he said “do you trust gambling algorithm”. I think you are describing a casino suggested betting patterns or given odds which is not the gambling algorithm in subject here.

Most of the casino is closed source which means there’s no way to verify whether their games is fair or not. That’s why we are only relying to trust on companies by choosing reputable casino to ensure that they will not jeopardize their integrity since they are already having profit with simple house edge.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Gambling vs Sport Betting, Lets Discuss on: May 21, 2024, 03:21:57 PM
Casino game and sports betting are different type of gambling games that’s why it’s very hard to compare them head on.

Casino games typically a quick game which is perfect for those who wants to be entertained during their free time since you only need few seconds to place bet on sports betting and you will just need to wait for the match result. It’s very hard to enjoy sports betting alone since it relies on the watching the sports itself and not the gambling part.

So experience wise, Casino games is superior in terms of gambling entertainment experience since sports betting is just a way to place bet on sports but the sports itself is the one that gives you entertainment.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What need to follow to play the stress free gambling game on: May 19, 2024, 03:18:27 PM
But they hard forgot the biggest loss of 10$ in a single betting.Using that 10 dollars he can bet on the ten different bet using 10 times, the possibility of 1/10 and 10/10 had huge difference.Because the game with ten bets will allow you to multiple more than ten times.

Casino has a house edge advantage, playing slowly will give you a slight disadvantage on your game. So the game with bets will not give you more win since you are just using same amount capital.

You will only just limit your losses since you might win some of the bets on 10 tries while you lose everything on 1 bet. But in terms of probability assuming both win is just the same 10$.

The only advantage on playing many times than one time huge bet is you will play more so that you can enjoy gambling with less pressure in your bet.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake curse strikes again, rapper loses on Fury, Usyk bet on: May 19, 2024, 02:49:21 PM
You might see it as a curse to him, but he is only having a wonderful time enjoying his bet, because that amount means nothing to him. I guess I will always follow him so that I can know when he is placing bet on a fight, in order for me to place my bet on the opposite maybe this will give me a good win.  Grin

Yeah right, There’s a high chance that he is just using Stake partnership payment to him since he is an official partner of the which he is frequently using on his lose bets.

Maybe it’s part of their agreement to place bets frequently using sponsor money that’s he doesn’t care whether he lose or win. Besides, he is doing same reckless bets even on his livestream before when he is playing in the casino with different live table games.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Casinos Manage Withdrawal Limits and transaction Fees on: May 19, 2024, 02:44:11 PM
If a casino says their  withdrawal limit is $10 and I have won $10 which I want to withdraw. I am able to withdraw the $10. so where did the money the casino use in processing the transaction fee come from?

You are considering here casino like what in your signature, Bitcasino and Sportsbet which doesn’t charge withdrawal while the majority of the casino deducts the fee on the withdrawal amount which means the user pay for the fee.

In your example, casino pays for the fee since they are using the free withdrawal fee as selling point feature to attract customers.

But normally, minimum withdrawal amount aside from what you mention is use to avoid micro players withdraw immediately their money after few successful winning bet so that they will engage more on gambling and potentially lose their bankroll.
39  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 AnonBet.net - No-KYC Slots and Sports Betting with Bitcoin [20 FREE SPINS] 🏆 on: May 19, 2024, 12:39:04 PM

Our terms and conditions have always stated that at least one deposit is required to make a withdrawal and the minimum withdrawal amount is 0.0002 BTC. The latter is to prevent users from spamming too many 0.00000001 BTC withdrawals, which we have had in the past, as writing a script to solve a simple math equation is not that difficult anyway.

This explanation doesn’t make sense, Where will they get the 0.000001BTC withdrawal that they will use to spam? And why will people do this spam withdrawal while you have a withdrawal fee for Bitcoin.

I’m not sure who’s in their right mind that will spam withdrawal in Bitcoin while the fee is averaging to $1. The deposit requirements clearly for players that has bonus rewards from free spin.

You should just add a deposit requirements on your free spin promotion if you want users to deposit first before they can withdraw to make it clear.
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Accessing gambling sites only on desktop as a means to prevent addiction on: May 19, 2024, 12:00:16 PM
It’s very hard to do this method on modern which everyone is using computer on daily basis due to our work or daily routine. I’m on my computer when I’m on office due to my work while I need to continue to open my desktop at home due to my side hustle and other duties required to my work for my client. So it means that I’m on my computer most of the time.

I believe this method will only work for those who don’t use computer as part of their daily routine such as construction industry, farming and so on.

I wonder if an addicted gambler can stop by this method while opening a computer consume only few seconds or minutes.
