Open case would be cool!
Gonna search the interwebz for a cheap one with reasonable postage price to europe. Full tower would wreck my budget even more! Already up about 400$ more than i originally planned:P
Cba building my own case at this point.

That board has two x16 slots, and four other pcie slots. That means two cards will fit in directly, and you may be able to get more working using risers.
If you want three gpus, you'll want a bigger case with better airflow.
According to the website i´m buying from its 3x 16x ports. Think i´ll go for the 7970 card, if the litecoin mining dosent work out i can always get a decent gaming desktop out of it, with a bit more ram and maybe another CPU. Should i get the one that is OC edition? its the cheapest one of the bunch. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4102#ovBtw, is 4gb of RAM gonna be enough with that card?

If 7970 if you can find one that cheap, 7950 otherwise.
Your gear is fine, though if you are only running one gpu, you won't need a 600W psu. I'd swap it out with a smaller 80+ platinum.
Wanted the possibility to add more GPUs in the future. Not sure that it will support 3 cards tho? Do you think everything will fit in the case i selected? A mini itx mb can only ever support one card. Your case can fit basically any size gpu according to their website. Thats not the gear i i´m refering too, check my second post:P RAM: CORSAIR 4GB DDR3 VALUE SELECT PC10666 1333MHZ PSU: CORSAIR CX 750W BRONZE ATX12V 2.3 POWER SUPPLY BOARD: GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H Z77 S-1155 ATX IVY http://www.dustinhome.se/product/5010625173/gigabyte-ga-z77x-ud3h-z77-s-1155-atx-ivy/

What about the gear in my previous post? would it make en alright starter rig? and what GPU should i get in the 300$ range?

7850 is less than $200 each! Maybe in the US, but where i´m ordering from the cheapest one is about 240$

Have you seen the prices today? May be a good time to just spend the $700 just buying the coin outright if you believe in them.
Building a rig/mining sounds a bit more fun:P Got a new hardware list: RAM: CORSAIR 4GB DDR3 VALUE SELECT PC10666 1333MHZ PSU: CORSAIR CX 750W BRONZE ATX12V 2.3 POWER SUPPLY BOARD: GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H Z77 S-1155 ATX IVY http://www.dustinhome.se/product/5010625173/gigabyte-ga-z77x-ud3h-z77-s-1155-atx-ivy/
CPU: INTEL CELERON G550 2.6GHZ 3MB S-1155 CASE: NZXT MIDITOWER SOURCE 210 ATX Not sure about what card/cards i should get...dont want to pay more than ~300 $ for gpu. HD7870 XT seems decent, but a bit pricey. S with the HD7870 XT card and the hardware above it would be bring the totall cost to ~800 usd. or i could get 2 7770 cards a little bit cheaper. So, the hardware above should be compatible, right? What card should i go for?

The reason i went for Mini-ITX is cuz it was one the cheapest ones, had no clue it wasnt gonna be usable for mining purposes.
Was originally on planning on building a solo gpu miner to start with, but if its not than much more expensive maybe i shoud get 2x cheaper cards instead and get a better PSU/Motherboard like you guys said.
A board with two PCI x16 ports is a must i guess? If i get a card with 2 pci 16 slots, and wanna upgrade the rig in the future, would it be efficient to get another card and use the leftover pci-e port? about my expirience: I have built a PC before( my first one)7-8 years ago, but since then í´ve been a laptop user, and havent followed all the newest hardware progress very closely.

You're going to put a 7950 inside a mini-ITX case? Have you thought things through? First off I don't know if the card will fit in that case. The MSI and Gigabyte 7950s won't even fit inside some of my mid tower cases. Second, you want to disperse 300W of Heat inside a mini-ITX? Every hear of the Big Band theory? Good thing i posted here then:P So i should aim for another motherboard/case then ? Since its mini-ITX aswell.

What exchanges do you use?

Hey
Can someone please answer the following question: Do you need to have a "verified" account inorder to deposit funds/buy bitcoins from them? Their terms got me kinda confused..
Under "deposit funds" there is a following message: "Funds deposited with Mt.Gox must come from the bank account with the name that matches the owner of the Mt.Gox account. " Yet further down the page they provide bank details for a transaction to fill your Mt Gox acc. Kinda weird they provide bank details to a "unverified" accounts, if you are not allowed to deposit any founds unless they know your personal details. Dont wanna send any money & having them stuck somewhere in a limbo cause they wont credit my acc unless its verified. Or did i misunderstood the whole thing?
Hope someone can answer this for me, thanks in advance:)

Hello! I'm looking for someone to write a small "snake" game for me in IA32 AT&T assembly. There are some parts implemented already in C, that needs to be called/runned from the asembly program. Should be very easy for someone with assembly experience.
Sounds like a job for you? PM me for more details!

Alrighty, pool mining it is!
Btw, thought of something else,i´m assuming the jalapeno is gonna be a USB connected device to my PC, since i have 2.0 USB interface on my laptop, is there gonna be any bandwidth limitations? with other words will i be able to use all the full 4.5GH/s power of the device?
And, how hard is it gonna be to configure it, if you look at previous devices? Does it have its own OS, or is just considered a external device u can select in the mining tool you use?

I´m just getting into the mining game, just preordered the jalapeno:)
Can anyone make a educated guess if the 4.5GH/s machine is gonna be enough for solomining, atleast for the first weeks/months it comes out? Not expecting any big returns, just hope i can break even in a couple of months or so:P
Woundering if its gonna be "stackable" aswell?
Well, since it is a low power draw type of device, relatively speaking, you can afford to have it mine for years at a time without thinking about. So one may as well solo mine. Sam Well i am planning to have it run 24/7, and i dont have to pay for electricity atm(student apartment), so the electricity bill wont be a issue for now atleast. Dunno if i should mine solo when i get the machine, or in a pool, i guess there is no way to answer that question atm tho..
